Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this research is to investigate Promotion Cost Analysis and the location of MSME income on Jalan Kertabumi Karawang. What are the Promotion Costs and Location of MSME players' income on Jalan Kertabumi Karawang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on observations made, there are promotional and location costs that can be utilized by MSME players. The results of this research show that promotional costs and the location of MSME income are on Jalan Kertabumi Karawang. Effective promotional costs can increase customer awareness and interest, and directly influence sales and revenue. Location also plays an important role in MSME income. A strategic location can increase customer accessibility and exposure to a wider market, which can increase sales. There are two methods of promotional costs incurred, namely Online Motorbike Taxi Vouchers and Endorsements. The location on Jalan Kertabumi is a strategic place to set up a business because it is the main access road that is often passed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled drivers. These variables show an increase in the income obtained by MSME players.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the accounts receivable control of Novotel Karawang Hotel in 2020-2022 and assess the effectiveness of the accounts receivable collection process. The analysis method used is descriptive quantitative using the Receivable Turnover (RTO) Ratio, Average Collection Period (ACP) Ratio, Arrears Ratio, and Collection Ratio. RTO analysis shows fluctuations, namely from 9 times in 2020, increasing to 26 times in 2021, then decreasing to 21 times in 2022. This value indicates high effectiveness, exceeding the ratio standard of >3.5. Meanwhile, ACP has increased from 39 days in 2020 to 13 days in 2021, then rose slightly to 16 days in 2022. This receivables collection period is within the effectiveness standard of 12-18 days, indicating an increase in efficiency in receivables collection. The Arrears Ratio also shows a decrease in effectiveness in arrears management, with 35% in 2020, 44% in 2021, and 53% in 2022. The effectiveness level of this ratio ranges from 41%-80%, which indicates less effective.Nonetheless, the management of the collection ratio remains effective, as evidenced by Novotel Karawang hotel's ability to generate revenue from sales. The collection ratio reached 181% in 2020, then dropped to 125% in 2021, and 86% in 2022. All of these values are within the 61%-89% ratio effectiveness level, which is considered effective. Hotel Novotel Karawang needs to continue to improve its accounts receivable management to meet company standards and optimize its processes.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of posting frequency, content quality, and interaction with customers on social media on customer loyalty in start-up businesses. A quantitative approach is employed, with data collected from 190 start-up owners or marketing professionals responsible for managing social media accounts. Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) is used for data analysis. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between posting frequency, content quality, interaction with customers, and customer loyalty. Content quality emerges as a strong predictor of customer loyalty, highlighting the importance of creating engaging and relevant content. Active interaction with customers on social media platforms also positively influences customer loyalty, fostering stronger relationships and brand advocacy. While posting frequency plays a role in maintaining brand visibility, the quality and relevance of content are found to be paramount. These findings have practical implications for start-up businesses seeking to enhance customer loyalty through effective social media engagement strategies.

Abstract

This research to identify methods to enhance lecturer engagement by focusing on job satisfaction and personality factors. The research sample consists of 166 lecturers from private universities in Bekasi. Path analysis and sobel test were employed in the methodology. The finding concludes that: 1) Enhancing personality can boost the engagement of permanent lecturers at private universities. 2) There is an indirect influence of personality on lecturer engagement through job satisfaction, the job satisfaction variable is able to mediate effectively between personality variables and lecturer engagement. It is recommended to strengthen the indicators of these variables to enhance personality through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia's capital market is experiencing rapid growth, attracting investors to invest in stocks. The performance of a stock investment portfolio is influenced by a variety of internal and external factors. Understanding these factors is important for investors in making informed investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the performance of stock investment portfolios in Indonesia using the literature review method. The literature review method allows for a systematic review of relevant literature and produces comprehensive findings. The results of this study are expected to provide a clear picture of the factors affecting the performance of stock investment portfolios in Indonesia and become a reference for investors in making more informed and measurable investment decisions.

Abstract

In the current digital financial era, this research explores the important and relevant impact of the lack of welfare of Indonesian society in facing digital financial transformation. With the aim of improving people's financial welfare, this research focuses on digital financial literacy and digital financial behavior. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) from a financial perspective, this research seeks to provide an in-depth understanding of how digital financial literacy and digital financial behavior can help improve people's financial welfare. This research uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to workers in JABODETABEK. This research model uses Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via the SmartPLS application. It is hoped that the research results can help the government, practitioners or policy makers in improving the financial welfare of the Indonesian people. The findings in this study show that workers in the JABODETABEK area that DFL influences DFB and FWB FS. Then DFB influences FWB FS. However, DFL has no effect on FWB FA and DFB FA.

Abstract

MSMEs in the bed linen industry often face challenges in increasingly tight market competition and changing consumer dynamics. To remain relevant and competitive in an ever-changing market, MSME leaders need to rethink their leadership strategies. Rethinking in this context includes re-evaluating business models, marketing strategies, production processes, and relationships with customers. MSME leaders need to consider new strategies that enable them to face challenges and exploit opportunities in the bedsheets industry. Based on the results of observations and in-depth interviews with MSME owners who produce bed sheets and bed covers in the Bandung area, it is clear that most of the MSME players who produce bed sheets and bed covers, especially the owners, in this case who are the leaders, have implemented re-thinking strategic leadership, especially those in the bed sheet business who produce on a large scale. . Re-thinking strategic leadership in this case means that MSME bed sheet and bed cover players have re-evaluated business models, marketing strategies, production processes and relationships with customers. MSME owners of bedsheet and bedcover products in Bandung have adopted various strategies to understand and adapt to the rapidly changing business environment. They use e-commerce and social media platforms, prioritize environmentally friendly products, adopt health protocols during the pandemic, and adjust production processes according to environmental regulations. Their strategic leadership drives adaptation through market research, product innovation, sales channel diversification, improved customer service, operational efficiency, collaboration, pricing flexibility, and human resource development. Additionally, they apply long-term thinking through SWOT analysis, market trend monitoring, competitor research, and data analysis. Team collaboration and engagement are also enhanced through cross-functional teams, open communication, shared goals, and collaborative rewards. Technology and innovation are encouraged with training, support systems, feedback loops, and innovation awards. Systemic thinking and leadership development is carried out through outreach, training, open communication, and feedback. These MSMEs also have risk awareness with appropriate risk analysis and risk mitigation as well as regular performance measurements for evaluation and strategy adjustments. MSME leaders are also considering new strategies that will enable them to face challenges and exploit opportunities in the bedsheets industry. MSME leaders in the bed linen industry have implemented strategic leadership to direct their business in a direction that is in line with the company's vision and mission. Strategic leadership involves making smart decisions, identifying market opportunities, managing risks, and developing long-term strategies. Even though the results obtained, not all MSMEs producing bed sheets are as expected.

Abstract

Abstract Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in economic growth, particularly in developing countries like Somalia. However, SMEs often encounter financial obstacles due to limited access to conventional banking services adhering to Islamic principles. This study aims to examinate the potential of Islamic Fin-Tech in bolstering Digital Financial Management among SMEs in Borama. Methodologically, the study utilizes quantitative data analysis methods, specifically multiple regression, to examine survey data gathered through purposive sampling. The data is obtained from a total of 2254 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) situated in Borama. Demographic data, including gender, education, occupation, and firm types, are examined alongside the duration of utilizing Islamic fintech solutions. Assumption tests such as normality and multicollinearity tests are conducted to ensure the reliability of the regression model employed. The results indicate a significant adoption of Islamic fintech solutions among SMEs, particularly in recent years. While variables such as Service Accessibility and Digital Banking do not show significant impacts on Digital Financial Management (DFM) due to the internet shortage, SMS Banking and E-Wallet emerge as influential factors that positively affect SMEs' digital financial management performances. Hypotheses testing confirms the significance of SMS Banking and E-Wallet in predicting DFM. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of E-Wallet services and SMS banking in enhancing SMEs' digital financial management. These insights offer valuable implications for financial institutions and policymakers to develop strategies aimed at improving SMEs' digital financial management practices. The study requires for further research to explore additional variables and deepen the understanding of factors that influence SMEs' digital financial management. By understanding the transformative potential of Islamic Fin-Tech, stakeholders can collaborate on designing and implementing measures supporting SMEs, driving economic growth, and aligning with Islamic finance principles. Embracing technological advancements like digital banking and SMS banking can help SMEs overcome financial hurdles and amplify their contributions to economic development. Abstract

This quantitative study examines the influence of education level, personal income, and accessibility of banking services on personal financial management practices among working women in West Java, Indonesia. Data were collected from a sample of 180 working women using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) 3. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between education level, personal income, accessibility of banking services, and personal financial management practices. Moreover, banking services accessibility partially mediates the relationships between education level and personal financial management and between personal income and personal financial management. These results underscore the importance of financial literacy, economic empowerment, and access to formal financial services in fostering financial well-being among working women in West Java. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the socio-economic factors influencing personal financial management and informs evidence-based interventions to promote financial inclusion and gender equity in the region.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of the home work environment, team interaction, and online training on employee productivity within the Indonesian education sector operating under a hybrid work model. A quantitative analysis was conducted, involving 160 employees from various roles within educational institutions. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) 3 software. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between the home work environment, team interaction, online training, and employee productivity. Conducive home work environments, robust team interactions, and effective online training programs emerge as critical factors in enhancing workforce performance in remote and hybrid work settings. The study contributes to a nuanced understanding of contemporary work dynamics and offers practical insights for organizational strategies aimed at fostering productivity in the Indonesian education sector.
