Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology today has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. In the field of language learning, particularly Arabic, technology has introduced innovations that open new opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of the teaching and learning process. With digital technology, the integration of interactive media, online learning platforms, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence can create a more engaging, flexible, and personalized learning experience. This study aims to identify the types of technology that have been applied in Arabic language learning. A qualitative method with a literature review approach was employed in this research. The data sources were drawn from journals discussing relevant themes on the use of technology as a medium for teaching Arabic. The data were then analyzed to generate new findings. The analysis revealed 21 technology-based learning media that effectively support Arabic language learning, including Instagram, TikTok, Google Sites, Moodle, Duolingo, YouTube, Animated Films, Plotagon, Powtoon, Kahoot, Digital Comics, Quizizz, Chatbot Mondly, Canva, Adobe Animate CC, Podcasts, MixPad, Word Wall, Digital Dictionaries, BISA Nahwu Sharaf Application, and Alef Education Platform. These media contribute to enhancing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of utilization and use of IT-based learning media in line with the times, as well as the lack of variety in available learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop capcut-based interactive media, where students will learn through media that has been validated and categorized as valid, practical, and effective. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research data were obtained through a validation questionnaire filled out by material experts, linguists, and media experts, as well as a practicality questionnaire filled out by teachers and students. The trial subjects consisted of 28 fourth grade students of SDN 02 Aur Kuning, while the research subjects included 16 fourth grade students of SDN 10 Sapiran. The data analysis technique used is a Likert scale. The results of the analysis show the validation of learning media by experts, and the practicality of learning media is tested through teacher and learner response questionnaires. Data collection instruments include learning media validation instruments, learning media practicality instruments, and learning media effectiveness instruments. The results of the material validity test on the development of capcut-based interactive media show a percentage of 73%, which is included in the valid category. The language validity test obtained a result of 98%, also with a very valid category. For the media validity test, the result is 84% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the results of the practicality test showed a percentage of 96% from the teacher response questionnaire and 94.91% from the student response questionnaire, both with a very practical category. The effectiveness test results obtained a percentage of 87%, which is included in the very effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of capcut-based learning media in learning Pancasila Education grade IV in elementary schools is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in supporting the learning process.

Abstract

Islamic education has developed since the time of the Prophet PBUH with the revelation of the Qur'an, continued during the time of the Khulafaurrasyidin, and achieved significant progress during the Umayyad Dynasty. This study aims to examine the development of Islamic education during the Umayyad period in Damascus and Andalusia, focusing on the education system, the role of mosques, and the influence of Arabic culture. Using a literature research method with a qualitative approach, data is collected from primary sources such as books on the history of Islamic civilization by Samsul Munir Amin, Samruddin Nasution, and others, as well as secondary sources in the form of accredited journal articles. Content analysis was carried out to process data descriptively. The results of the study show that Islamic education during the Umayyad period focused not only on religious science, but also on secular sciences such as medicine, astronomy, and philosophy, which became the foundation of the progress of Islamic civilization. The mosque served as a center of learning, with Arabic as the main language, adopting the memorization tradition of the pre-Islamic Arabs enriched by the tradition of writing revelations. This education also serves to strengthen the social, political, and cultural identity of Muslims, supporting regional expansion and intellectual development.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in the development of the Society 5.0 era, which encourages the renewal and utilization of technology to facilitate learning through digital-based media. However, in reality, conventional media are still widely used, and many teachers are not yet able to optimize technology to innovate learning media. This study aims to produce a valid and practical interactive learning media using the Canva application for IPAS learning based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in fourth grade of elementary school. This is a research and development study applying the ADDIE model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The research was conducted in Cluster 5 of Lembah Gumanti District, involving three elementary schools: SDN 02 Sungai Nanam, SDN 18 Sungai Nanam, and SDN 26 Sungai Nanam. The developed media were validated by experts and tested in the aforementioned schools to measure practicality. The results showed that the developed media achieved a validation score of 97%, categorized as very valid. Practicality results based on teacher responses reached 95.23%, and student responses reached 97.57%, both categorized as very practical. Therefore, the developed Canva-based interactive learning media for PBL-oriented IPAS learning is proven to be highly valid and practical

Abstract

This study analyzes the linguistic landscape in commercial spaces with a case study of two business signs in Indonesia, namely Tokio 「とこや」Barber in Bali and Bing Pop Restaurant in Probolinggo. This study aims to reveal how the use of language and visual elements in signboards reflects identity, marketing strategies, and local socio-cultural dynamics. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a semiotic and sociolinguistic approach, through field observation and visual documentation. The results of the analysis show that the Tokio 「とこや」Barber signboard utilizes Japanese linguistic aesthetics and characters to build an exclusive and modern image, while Bing Pop uses popular language styles and bright colors that reflect a local and friendly approach. Both signboards show a shift in the function of commercial spaces as a place to express global and local linguistic and cultural identities. Furthermore, this study highlights the educational value of the linguistic landscape, as it encourages public literacy in recognizing multilingual expressions, cultural diversity, and the role of visual language in shaping perception. Thus, the linguistic landscape not only represents the language used, but also becomes a visual communication medium that influences public perception of a brand or business space, while fostering broader awareness of language learning and cultural literacy.

The research data consisted of 30 respondents, at the Al-Kahfi Gangseyan Sepulu Vocational School, the sampling technique used the accidential sampling method, while the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression using SPSS version 23. The test results from this research show that the validity test results on The reliability test value of Crombach alpha at (X1) is 0.636 (X2) is 0.622 and at (Y) is 0.696, so the reliability test is said to be reliable because the Crombach alpha value is greater than the r table, because the r table value itself is 0.361. The normality test of the significant value on the Student Motivation variable (X2) produced (Asymp.sig = 0.192) is greater than the alpha value (a=0.05). So it can be concluded that the data from the Student Motivation variable (X2) is normally distributed. Meanwhile, the T test produces a value for the T calculated variable (X1) of 0.740, while the T sig value is 0.466 and (X2) 6.442, while the T sig value for the variable (X2) is 0.000, so the variables X1 and X2 are said to be significant because the calculated T value > T Sig.It can be concluded that variable (X1) family economics has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes and (X2) student motivation has a significant effect on student learning outcomes (Y)
