Abstract

Role reversal technique is a technique derived from Gestalt theory and psychodrama. Gestalt views existence as something interconnected and uses a holistic counseling approach. This study aims to increase adolescent empathy by encouraging them to see from the perspective of others. By playing different roles, adolescents can significantly increase emotional awareness and empathy skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method that focuses on role reversal research indexed by Google Scholar regarding the development of adolescent empathy in the last 12 years (2013-2025). In this literature study, 3 articles related to the development of adolescent empathy were identified. The results of the study showed that the application of role reversal in social-emotional learning and group guidance services effectively increased empathy and interpersonal relationships in students. The implications of this study indicate that role reversal techniques can be integrated into counseling services and character education programs as an effective strategy to develop empathy and social skills in adolescents in more depth

Abstract

This study aims to explore technology-based motivation strategies in enhancing employee performance, particularly in the digital era and within the context of Islamic educational institutions. Using a library research approach and reviewing the latest academic sources, the findings reveal that digital tools such as performance dashboards, e-reward platforms, and online evaluation systems can significantly improve employees' intrinsic motivation and work ethics. These strategies are reinforced by motivation theories such as expectancy theory (Vroom) and goal-setting theory (Locke & Latham), and contextualized with Islamic values including amanah (trust), muhasabah (self-evaluation), and uswah hasanah (exemplary leadership). Digital work systems not only improve efficiency but can also function as spiritual instruments that strengthen sincerity and intention in work. This study implies that digital transformation must be framed within ethical and spiritual values to ensure meaningful and humane work motivation.

Abstract

Conflict is an inherent aspect of organizational life, including within Islamic educational institutions. While often viewed negatively, conflict can foster innovation and performance improvement if managed effectively. This study aims to identify appropriate conflict management strategies for Islamic educational institutions through a literature review of conflict and negotiation theories. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing library research from various academic sources. The findings indicate that strategies such as SWOT analysis, win-win solutions, and integrative negotiation can be harmonized with Islamic values such as tabayyun (clarification), islah (reconciliation), and ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood). The integration of modern management theory with Islamic principles proves effective in facilitating fair, constructive, and sustainable conflict resolution. These insights are expected to serve as practical guidance for educational leaders in managing conflicts wisely and professionally.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the managerial thinking of Muhammad Al-Fatih in the development of educational institutions through a library research approach. Muhammad Al-Fatih is known not only as a military and political leader, but also as an Islamic educational figure who has a long-term vision of civilization. This study found that Al-Fatih's managerial thinking rests on three main pillars, namely the pursuit of knowledge as a form of worship and social obligation, character development based on Islamic values such as exemplary, sincerity, and discipline, as well as the spiritual responsibility of education which is not only borne by individuals, but also becomes the duty of the state. In addition, education in Al-Fatih's leadership functioned as a geopolitical instrument, namely as a tool of diplomacy and regeneration of global-minded leaders. These values are represented in the madrasa system, integrative curriculum, and narrative approach in shaping students' characters. The results of the study show that Al-Fatih's thinking is very relevant to the challenges of modern Islamic education, especially in forming an education system that is characterized, competitive, and based on spiritual values. Therefore, Al-Fatih's managerial approach can be used as a strategic model for the development of contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted in response to the low literacy skills in reading and writing the Javanese language among elementary school students, particularly in the use of unggah-ungguh basa (levels of politeness in Javanese speech). Many students at MI Islamiyah Ngrejeng still struggle to use krama (formal Javanese) in daily communication. The aim of this study is to develop an interactive multimedia product called Pacelathon and to analyze its development process, results, and effectiveness in strengthening students’ Javanese literacy. This study employed the Research and Development (R\&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The multimedia developed integrates animated videos, Wordwall quizzes, and audio narration in Javanese accents. Expert validation results showed a high level of feasibility: 92.5% from media and language experts and 90% from subject matter experts. The effectiveness test revealed an increase in students’ average scores from 79% (pre-test) to 86% (post-test), with an N-Gain score of 0.33, which falls into the moderate category. These findings indicate that the Pacelathon interactive multimedia is both feasible and moderately effective in improving students’ literacy in the Javanese language, and it can serve as a meaningful learning tool to preserve local culture through education.

This study consisted of two classes, namely class IV. A and IV. B totaling 58 students. Hypothesis testing of research data using independent sample t-test with the criteria that Ha is accepted if t_count> t_table. Obtained with a value of (t_count) 7.373> (t_table.) 1.672 and sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, so the calculation shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected or the hypothesis is proven that there is effectiveness of picture guessing media on the speaking skills of class IV students at SDN 98 Palembang.
