Abstract

This study explores the strategies employed by the principal of SD Negeri Wonosari 01, Semarang, in managing educational quality. As the central figure in school leadership, the principal plays a vital role in integrating various components of education curriculum, educators, infrastructure, and community involvement into a comprehensive quality management system. Using a qualitative approach through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, the research reveals that the principal adopts a transformational leadership style and applies principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). Strategic planning is conducted collaboratively, involving teachers, school committees, parents, and students. Programs such as literacy mornings, character-based learning, and extracurricular development are implemented to enhance student competencies holistically. The principal ensures continuous teacher development through supervision and professional training, while promoting a positive school culture and transparent resource management. However, several challenges persist, including limited facilities, funding constraints, and varying teacher competencies, particularly in adapting to technological tools and the new curriculum. Low parental involvement and administrative workload further hinder optimal implementation. Despite these barriers, the principal demonstrates strong commitment and adaptive leadership by fostering partnerships, encouraging innovation, and promoting continuous improvement. This research provides practical insights for school leaders aiming to enhance educational quality in public elementary schools within similar contexts.

Abstract

This research examines the challenges and opportunities in learning hadith in the digital era through a case study at MTs Mahadurrokan Sekeladi, Riau. Digital transformation has brought significant changes in the methods of teaching religious sciences, including hadith as the second source of Islamic law after the Qur'an. This study used a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method with hadith teachers at the local school. The results of the study show that the digital era provides great opportunities in the accessibility of hadith sources, learning efficiency, and innovation in teaching methodologies. However, the main challenges include the validity of digital sources, the lack of digital literacy of teachers, and the risk of reduced personal interaction in traditional learning. This study recommends a planned integration of digital technologies while maintaining traditional values in hadith teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of school principal leadership management in improving teacher performance and enhancing students’ academic achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Pamijahan District. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method involving six madrasahs selected purposively. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The principal findings reveal that school principals play strategic roles as managers, supervisors, motivators, and educational leaders in optimizing teacher performance. Key leadership management practices include participatory planning, systematic task organization, professional development through continuous training, classroom supervision, and performance evaluations based on student learning outcomes. Teacher performance improvement was evidenced by more structured lesson planning, diversified teaching methods, and better classroom management. Consequently, students’ academic achievements showed significant improvement, indicated by increased attainment of minimum learning standards and active participation during lessons. Nevertheless, principals encountered challenges such as limited learning facilities and varied teacher motivation levels. These obstacles were addressed through collaborative strategies involving school committees and continuous professional development programs. Overall, effective leadership management from principals significantly contributes to enhancing teacher competence and student academic outcomes. This study underscores the vital role of transformational leadership in Islamic primary education, providing practical recommendations for school management development at the madrasah level. The findings also highlight the necessity of strengthening principal training programs and institutional support to ensure sustainable quality improvement in basic Islamic education.

Abstract

Digital transformation has experienced rapid advancement, particularly in payment processes and increasingly sophisticated data storage systems. This development is not only limited to the information technology sector, but has also expanded to various other sectors, including the energy sector such as subsidized fuel distribution. This study aims to determine the influence of QR code implementation, digital payment, digital service knowledge, and service quality on consumer satisfaction among users of the MyPertamina application at SPBU Pertamina 54.691.03. This research employed a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling and involved 55 respondents who use the MyPertamina application. Data were collected through online and offline questionnaires, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 21. The results show that QR code implementation, digital payment, digital service knowledge, and service quality have a significant influence both partially and simultaneously on consumer satisfaction among MyPertamina application users at SPBU Pertamina 54.691.03. With a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.861, it is evident that these four variables explain 86.1% of the variation in consumer satisfaction, while the remaining 13.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. These findings indicate that technological transformation, accompanied by enhanced digital service knowledge, can facilitate the management of subsidized fuel data, improve payment efficiency, and support better service quality, thereby strengthening the positive consumer experience and increasing satisfaction among MyPertamina application users.

School culture is a complex concept. Generally, culture can be defined as a way of life that develops within a community and is passed down from generation to generation. School culture encompasses various elements such as language, religion, customs, arts, and social norms that shape the identity of a group. The school environment possesses a unique culture, as each school has its own profile based on its characteristics. Cultural education is the knowledge imparted to students based on existing culture, including cultural values, norms, and skills in the field of culture. The essence of culture is a system of values, norms, and regulations that persist within a group. In many schools, habitual activities such as commemorating national holidays help students become more active and participatory in school activities. Exemplary behaviors such as dressing neatly, arriving on time, and communicating politely enable students to internalize desired behaviors in their daily lives. School culture plays an important role in shaping character. As educational institutions, schools have visions, missions, and goals not only to disseminate knowledge but also to cultivate the morals and behaviors of students through the values taught within the school environment.By implementing positive culture, students are expected to develop good character, become responsible individuals, and contribute positively to society. Therefore, it is essential for every school to develop a culture that supports character education and creates an inclusive and productive learning environment. Thus, school culture not only shapes students' character to be more disciplined and independent but also creates a stable and structured learning environment within the school.
