Abstract

This research is motivated by the formation of environmentally caring character in students by teaching children to throw away rubbish, love plants or the environment and always maintain cleanliness wherever they are, especially in the school environment. Students are given activities about loving and caring for the environment, even if it's just cleaning the classroom. This research uses a qualitative approach, the research location was carried out at MTs Unggulan Rohmatul Ummah Mojokerto, by optimizing the presence of researchers in extracting data based on sources, namely: (1) primary data sources (2) secondary data sources. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, then checking the validity of the data findings using triangulation. The results of this thesis research are (1) The children have succeeded in changing their personalities in the way they interact, in keeping the environment clean, such as throwing rubbish in its place, always carrying out picket duties and inviting their friends to maintain cleanliness (2) Evaluation of the implementation of character education used by the school is carried out every Sunday or if possible every day by the homeroom teachers, teachers and also the principal, and also carried out every semester. In forming a socially caring character through Social Sciences subjects, it is able to change the character of students for the better.

Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled "Class Management in Increasing Students' Interest in Learning at MTs Bina Taruna Jaya Medan" which is motivated by the fact that students' interest in learning at MTs Bina Taruna Jaya Medan is an effort to increase students' interest in learning, knowing the supporting factors and hindering factors. Seeing that there are several problems in increasing students' interest in learning in class, including students who are not enthusiastic about participating in learning. Students who are mostly silent give the impression that they are not involved or active in the learning process, students are constantly chatting alone with their friends. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method, namely providing a more detailed description of the research object sourced from primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The instrument in this research uses interviews in the form of guidelines consisting of several questions. The results of this research show that Class Management in Increasing Students' Interest in Learning at MTs Bina Taruna Jaya Medan has been implemented well by the homeroom teacher, subject teachers, principal and students by using class management strategies, namely creating a conducive classroom atmosphere, providing motivation and directions so that students care about the cleanliness of the room, visit the class to organize the room, guide students in the learning process. The supporting and inhibiting factors are supporting facilities and infrastructure, the availability of equipment such as blackboards which are said to be suitable, the availability of a library in each class, Based on the research findings above, the learning approach must be suitable for implementation by students, teachers and school principals as a solution to create quality learning in classroom management to increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

My Name is Salma (2007) is a feminist trauma narrative that emphasizes Fadia Faqir’s desire to represent the experiences of voiceless women. Faqir’s writings mostly address the voices of those who have lost a loved one, usually describing and inscribing their words against a background of shock and forgetfulness. My Name is Salma, focuses on modern challenges, particularly those arising from the fallout of colonialism, postcolonialism, and fundamentalism. She may be the most qualified to articulate the components of voices, spaces, and traces. The focus on the voices of traumatized women may retrace the steps that those who have experienced loss have made in their quest for liberty, truth, and self-identification. For the voiceless Arab women, Faqir converts their silences into written testimonies highlighted in the neatly partitioned realm (Jordan, in particular). The lack of a unified sense of self represents fragmentation in this context

Abstract

The family, the smallest unit in society, consists of father, mother and children. In general, a family consists of people who are related by blood or marriage, although they do not always share a roof (house, dining table, food, money, even feelings) and this is an element to characterize a gathering as a family. Because she is responsible for her children, women in a family have responsibilities in the domestic realm. It seems that the role of women in East Sambirejo Village has changed, namely that women are prioritized to work outside the home so that they have limitations in caring for children. This is what is of interest to researchers in conducting research, namely with the aim of studying more deeply the role of women in earning a living in the public sector. This research method uses qualitative research, a descriptive approach with a total of 5 informants. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the wife's role as the family breadwinner is due to poverty. As experts in liberal feminist theory, J. S. Mill and Harriet Taylor-Mill (husband and wife), argue that equality between men and women has been achieved, that women must have the same civil rights as men and equal access to education, economic participation, and other opportunities. This is stated because, in both views, individuals must be given the freedom to pursue their goals, as long as they do not interfere with each other in the process of achieving their goals. However, from a religious perspective or from an Islamic perspective, women are not required to earn a living, so everything that has been explained in Islamic law is felt to be able to bring about benefits for its people. Relating to the husband's maintenance obligations towards the family. as Allah says in surah Al-Baqarah 2: verse 233. based on analysis of social construction theory which states that the role of the wife as the family breadwinner is the result of human construction. The first three stages of social construction in the people of East Sambirejo Village are externalization or adjustment to the socio-cultural world by adjusting the wife to her family's economy, changes in habits in East Sambirejo Village, and understanding of religion, especially in verses of the Al-Qur'an'an surah. Al-Baqarah 2:233 regarding the husband's obligation to support his family. Second, (objectivity) self-interaction with the social and cultural world. In society, the wife is expected to be the breadwinner of the family all the time, and she does so with self-awareness to help support the family. Third, examples of self-identification with the sociocultural world (internalization). In this process, the wife plays the role of breadwinner for the family in East Sambirejo Village with the aim of supporting the family's economy (economic factor).

Abstract

This research aims to: describe changes in the baralek tradition in the Minangkabau community in Medan Denai District, Medan City, describe the factors causing the change in baralek in the Minangkabau Community in Medan Denai District, Medan City, describe the social actions of the community in implementing the baralek tradition in the Minangkabau community in Medan Denai District Medan City. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results obtained from this research are that the Minangkabau people in Medan Denai District continue to uphold Minangkabau cultural values, one of which is by continuing to carry out wedding procession procedures in accordance with Minangkabau customs. However, this was not fully carried out so that the baralek tradition underwent changes by adapting or modifying part of the procession in the baralek tradition. Factors causing changes in Minangkabau marriage procedures were; Economic Factors, Time Efficiency, Living Environment, Marriages of Different Tribes. The solidarity of the Minangkabau people remains strong. This can be seen from the contribution of the community working together in organizing a wedding party, such as working together in cooking and enlivening the event.

Abstract

This study analyzes the dakwah content produced by Dondy Tan in the YouTube videos "Keotentikan Kitab Suci" and "Ngobrol 2 Jam Berujung Syahadat." The background of this research lies in the significant role of social media, particularly YouTube, in disseminating dakwah information through innovative approaches. Dondy Tan, a convert to Islam who shares both knowledge and personal experiences, utilizes this platform to reach a wider audience. The research aims to evaluate the types of content, the methods of message delivery, and their impact on the audience. The analysis results indicate that the content is effective due to the use of intertextual approaches, argumentative communication styles, and strong visual and auditory elements. In conclusion, credibility and persuasive approaches grounded in a deep understanding of Islamic teachings are crucial in creating impactful dakwah content on social media. This research provides insights for dakwah practitioners in optimizing social media to spread religious messages.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) are an integral part of the higher education curriculum in Indonesia which are designed to provide practical experience to students in the field. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of KKN carried out by Group 146 in improving the social skills of students in Paya Perupuk Village. This research approach is qualitative using observation, interview and questionnaire methods. The research results show that this KKN program has succeeded in improving students' social skills, especially in terms of communication, teamwork and adaptability in the community environment.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of student involvement in the subject. Student engagement is often a major challenge. Lack of student engagement can be caused by various factors, such as learning methods that are less interesting and irrelevant to their needs. The research aims to see the effectiveness of the project-based learning model on student involvement. The method used in this research is quantitative. The results of this research show that the Project Based Learning Model has proven to be effective for Student Engagement at SMA Negeri 08 Serang City by proving the results of this research using a paired sample t test, the result of tcount is -36.256 on df 17. The basis for decision making is if tcount > ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The ttable value in df 17 is 2.110. Thus, 36.256 > 2.110 means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the Project-Based Learning model is effective for student engagement. Then the magnitude of effectiveness is calculated by calculating the N-gain score test, the average value of the N-gain score is 70.7864 or 70.78%, which is in the high category.

Abstract

This research is motivated because the learning model used is still conventional. Students also lack interest in social studies learning and only rely on LKS books in learning, resulting in students being less active in learning. This study aims to find out the project based learning model has a significant effect on student activity and how much influence the application of the project based learning model has on student activity. This research is a quantitative research with a quasy experimental type. The instruments used are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The population used is all class VIII. The sample for class VIII-C is the student experimental class and class VIII-D is the control class with 38 students each. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant influence between the project based learning learning model on student activity with a value of tcount = 16.13 and ttable of 1.991 at a significance level of 5%, namely so that the value of tcount>ttable with an average value of the experimental class is 89 .5 while the control class is 69.5, (2) the magnitude of the influence of the project-based learning model on student activity in obtaining a presentation value of 82% is included in the high category.

Abstract

Social change among teenagers today needs to be a common focus so as not to damage culture. Teenagers are the determinants of the fate of the nation. Brilliant teenagers are teenagers who are not eroded by the current of negative social change. This research aims to determine the relationship between consumer lifestyles and their impact on the learning motivation of students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Consumptive behavior is a form of social change that is widely experienced by teenagers in the transitional age towards adulthood, so it is important for humans today to suppress the problem of negative impacts caused by social change. Various findings of information collected from students as respondents and which have been processed by researchers have resulted in input that consumer behavior increases motivation or enthusiasm for learning because by excessively and impulsively subscribing to goods or services, it creates satisfaction and happiness in itself, plus the large number of stalls available, thus making things easier for respondents. Consumptive attitudes are added to by the desire of students who want to keep up with the times by buying the latest fashion..
