Abstract

ABSTRACT Toddlers are a group that shows rapid growth, so they need maximum nutrients. Fulfillment of nutritional needs is an important indicator in the process of growth and development of toddlers. The prevalence of malnutrition and undernutrition under five is 17.7%. The nutritional problem for toddlers is the lack of fulfillment of balanced nutrition caused by a lack of mother's knowledge about nutrition that must be fulfilled by toddlers during their growth period. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to carry out immediate intervention through training on preparing a balanced nutritional menu for children. The purpose of this activity is to help schools, teachers and parents to make healthy food and snack menus for toddlers. It is hoped that after this community service all participants can apply it in daily life to reduce the risk of toddler nutritional problems. Keyword: Nutrition, Toddlers, Balance Nutrition Menu

Abstract

The elderly are a vulnerable age group, where in this phase a person tends to experience a decline in both physical and mental function and thus requires assistance to fulfill daily life activities. Health problems such as high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes (diabetes mellitus/DM), heart disease, etc. can cause the elderly to be unable to carry out activities and fulfill their daily needs, thus requiring long-term care (PJP). A systematic program is needed to care for the elderly so that their needs can be met, prevent complications, and maintain optimal quality of life for the elderly. At the stage of development of the elderly, individuals experience setbacks both physically, psychologically and socially. Dependence on other people, especially family, becomes very high. Therefore, specific and appropriate assistance is needed to help the elderly carry out their activities optimally and not cause worse conditions or complications. Efforts that have been made to prevent and control hypertension in the elderly include providing psychoeducation to young mothers accompanying the elderly. Bearing in mind that in Puton Village the incidence of hypertension is still high and many people complain of experiencing anxiety due to hypertension. This community service activity was carried out for 1 week starting from the coordination stage to the evaluation. Based on the results of community service, participants understand more about anxiety in elderly people with hypertension so that they can reduce anxiety in elderly people with hypertension and increase the knowledge and ability of young mothers in caring for the elderly at home

Postpartum gymnastics is one way to help the mother recover soon, it aims to expedite the process of uterine involution, is beneficial in terms of beauty, restores health, and improves muscle tension after pregnancy. Internal and external factors influence the implementation of postpartum exercise. The formulation of the problem is in the form of limited knowledge and skills about postpartum exercise in the working area of the Talagasari Health Center, Karawang Regency, due to the absence of socialization and guidance regarding postpartum exercise. The purpose of the service is to increase knowledge and skills about postpartum exercise for postpartum mothers using modules and video media so that it helps in carrying out postpartum exercises independently and as an additional program for pregnant women's classes. The service method in the socialization and guidance of postpartum gymnastics uses question-and-answer lectures, discussions, simulations, and practice of postpartum gymnastics, accompanied by pre-tests and post-tests. The activity was carried out for three months in the homes of 185 respondents. The results of this socialization activity and postpartum exercise guidance have implications in the form of increasing the knowledge of postpartum mothers up to 9.28. Activities have provided benefits in the form of increased knowledge and skills about postpartum exercise for all respondents. The conclusion is that postpartum exercise socialization and guidance activities have implications in the form of increasing knowledge and ability to carry out postpartum exercise movements independently using postpartum exercise modules and videos. Furthermore, the health center can continue the postpartum exercise activities in the postnatal care material in the class program for pregnant women.
