Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDIT Al Ittihaad Tebet, Jakarta, focusing on the integration of tahfidz (Qur'anic memorization) and tilawati (Qur'anic recitation) programs into the curriculum. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research explores the methods, media, and learning approaches applied in the PAI learning process. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with subjects including teachers, students, and the school principal. Thematic analysis was used to identify key themes and insights from the data. The findings reveal that the systematic integration of tahfidz and tilawati programs strengthens Islamic values and holistically shapes students' character. These programs, designed with thematic and contextual learning approaches, incorporate Qur'anic verses into general subjects such as science and mathematics, fostering students' understanding of the synergy between Islamic teachings and modern knowledge. The study provides empirical evidence of the effectiveness of value-based learning models in integrated Islamic schools. Future research could evaluate the long-term impact of this integration on academic performance and explore the use of innovative technologies to enhance Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of supervision in improving teacher performance, student academic achievement, and raising awareness of the importance of effective supervision in every aspect of school management. The research method used is a literature study, analyzing references from articles, journals, and other sources from the internet. The results indicate that effective supervision plays a crucial role in creating successful schools. Therefore, school management should invest time and resources in the training and development of supervisors, enabling them to provide the necessary support to teachers, principals, and education supervisors to achieve optimal educational goals. More broadly, the study shows that supervision is not merely an administrative task but an integral part of teacher professional development and the overall improvement of educational quality. Properly trained supervisors can directly impact teacher performance, which in turn contributes to student academic achievement. Thus, it is essential for all stakeholders—including government, school administrators, and communities—to understand that effective supervision is key to creating a conducive and high-quality learning environment. Educational success depends not only on curriculum or facilities but also on a well-functioning and sustainable supervision system.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the history of the formation and development of the Mughal Dynasty. This research will also explore the advancements in civilization and the intellectual thought during this period, as well as identify the factors that led to its decline during the reign of the dynasty. In the classical and medieval eras, Islamic civilization was recognized as one of the most brilliant civilizations. During this time, no other civilization could rival its greatness. The influence of Islam spread to various regions, including India. In India, the Islamic influence was significant, as evidenced by the rise of several Islamic dynasties such as the Mamluk Dynasty (1206-1290), the Khalji Dynasty (1290-1320), the Tughluq Dynasty (1320-1413), and others. Among all these dynasties, the Mughal Dynasty stands out as the most prominent. This dynasty was the Islamic power that ruled India from the 16th century to the 19th century, and it was one of the three major dynasties (Mughal, Ottoman, and Safavid) that had a significant impact on the Islamic world during the medieval period. The Mughal Dynasty played a crucial role in the advancement of Islam in India, encompassing political, economic, artistic, cultural, religious, and scientific aspects.

Abstract

Perception plays a crucial role in interpersonal communication, acting as the foundation for how individuals interpret and understand the messages they receive from others. Accurate perception enables clear communication, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening relationships, as it allows individuals to respond appropriately to the messages conveyed. On the contrary, inaccurate perceptions can result in misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and conflicts, often undermining the quality of communication. Various factors, such as personal experiences, cultural background, social context, and individual values, significantly influence how we perceive others and the situations we encounter. These influences can shape our attitudes and interpretations, sometimes leading to biased or distorted perceptions. For instance, our past experiences may lead us to make assumptions about others based on limited information, while cultural differences can affect how we interpret non-verbal cues or tone of voice. Thus, it is essential to develop self-awareness, which involves recognizing and reflecting on our own biases and perspectives. Active listening, which involves paying close attention to verbal and non-verbal cues and asking clarifying questions when needed, is also key in ensuring that we accurately perceive the messages others are trying to convey. Additionally, respecting and appreciating different points of view helps promote empathy and openness in communication, enabling individuals to understand and engage with others more effectively. By honing these skills, individuals can improve the accuracy of their perceptions, ultimately enhancing the quality of their interpersonal communication and fostering more positive and productive relationships.
