Abstract

This study is motivated by changes in consumer behavior following the boycott issue against several international brands, including Pizza Hut Indonesia, which has affected customer loyalty. In response to this situation, Pizza Hut introduced a new concept called Ristorante in the Jabodetabek area. This research tends to examine the influence of the Ristorante rebranding on customer loyalty after the boycott. The study applied a quantitative method with a descriptive and verificative approach. The participants contained of one hundred and fifty respondents choosed through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire with five levels of responses and examined using a simple linear regression method. The findings revealed that the rebranding variable obtained an average score categorized as high, while the customer loyalty variable was also classified as high. The regression analysis indicated that rebranding had a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. This result suggests that the better the implementation of the Ristorante rebranding strategy by Pizza Hut, the greater the level of customer loyalty established after the boycott. These findings confirm that a well-executed rebranding strategy can serve as an effective means to rebuild consumer trust and strengthen brand loyalty during a reputational crisis.

Abstract

This literature review examines the effectiveness of Islamic-based group counseling services in fostering students’ character development and psychological well-being. The purpose of this study is to synthesize empirical findings from the last decade (2015–2025) regarding how Islamic values integrated into group counseling influence students’ character formation and mental wellness. Data were collected through systematic searches of academic databases and analyzed using a thematic narrative approach. The results show that Islamic-based group counseling significantly enhances students’ self-discipline, responsibility, religiosity, self-efficacy, and self-regulation. Additionally, it promotes greater emotional stability and interpersonal harmony. Despite these promising findings, several studies reported limitations such as small sample sizes, short intervention durations, and limited longitudinal assessments. The novelty of this review lies in its dual focus on both character and psychological well-being under an Islamic counseling paradigm, offering implications for future school counseling practices and research.

Abstract

The implementation of Bloom's Taxonomy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation provides educators with guidelines for developing systematic evaluation instruments that are appropriate to students' cognitive and attitudinal development levels, resulting in more accurate and comprehensive evaluation results. This study aims to determine how Bloom's Taxonomy is used to develop PAI learning evaluations. This study employed a qualitative approach with a literature review method. This method was chosen to study and analyze various theories and literature from various sources relevant to the research topic. This study confirms that implementing Bloom's Taxonomy in developing PAI learning evaluations is essential to address evaluation constraints, which have historically been limited to lower cognitive aspects. The results indicate that implementing Bloom's Taxonomy-based evaluations helps teachers develop questions, assignments, and learning activities more systematically and in accordance with established objectives. This encourages the development of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in students. Thus, the use of Bloom's Taxonomy helps teachers holistically assess student abilities, formulate learning objectives, and design more effective learning activities, ultimately contributing to improved student cognitive abilities.

Abstract

This study analyzes the research methodology of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) from the epistemological perspective of Karl R. Popper, particularly the principle of falsification, to develop critical rationalism. The findings show that integrating falsification into PAI research can enhance scientific validity through critique, hypothesis testing, and continuous theory improvement, enabling Islamic education scholarship not only to legitimize religious values but also to develop them scientifically. The implications of this study include the need to reformulate PAI research methodology, strengthen curricula based on critical epistemology, and foster an academic culture that is open to correction positioning Popper’s epistemology as a bridge between Western scientific traditions and Islamic spirituality for the advancement of progressive and contextual Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the low critical thinking abilities of students at SMP Negeri 5 Lamongan, which is caused by conventional teaching methods and the limited use of interactive digital media. The purpose of this research is to test the effect of the VIRLEP LMS (Virtual Learning Environment for Pancasila Education) on students' critical thinking abilities. The research design uses a descriptive quantitative quasi-experiment approach with control and experimental groups, involving 64 seventh-grade students. The instruments used were 15 multiple-choice questions for pretest and posttest. Data analysis was conducted using independent and paired sample t-tests with SPSS 26. The results show no significant difference in initial abilities between the groups (p=0.948), but there was a significant improvement in critical thinking skills in the experimental group compared to the control group (p=0.000). The experimental group had a t-value of 29.728, which is higher than the control group's t-value of 13.190. The conclusion of the study states that the application of the VIRLEP LMS effectively enhances student engagement and critical thinking abilities through interactive features such as videos, quizzes, games, and discussions. It is recommended that the intervention duration be extended to observe long-term effects. The Pancasila-based LMS serves as an innovative learning media alternative to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of motivation and social support on the formation of an entrepreneurial mindset among students of SMA Triguna Jakarta. The research underscores the importance of fostering entrepreneurial thinking from an early age as a means to cultivate creativity, independence, and resilience in addressing future challenges. Employing a quantitative associative approach, this study examines the relationship between internal and external factors contributing to students’ entrepreneurial development. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to the respondents. The findings indicate that motivation does not have a significant impact on the development of the entrepreneurial mindset, whereas social support exhibits a positive and substantial influence. Support and encouragement provided by parents, teachers, and peers enhance students’ self-confidence, risk-taking ability, and creativity in entrepreneurial endeavors. These results highlight the pivotal role of a supportive social environment in nurturing entrepreneurial attitudes among young individuals. Consequently, collaboration between schools and families is recommended to establish a learning ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurial spirit, competence, and character from an early stage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cooling system modification on the engine performance of the Wuling Confero vehicle. The main focus of this research is to evaluate the impact of thermostat removal and the use of plain water as a substitute for radiator coolant on engine operating temperature, engine speed (RPM), and fuel consumption. The research method used was a quantitative experimental approach, with direct testing using a Vehicle Diagnostic System (VDS) to obtain real-time data on operating temperature, RPM, and fuel consumption. The tests were conducted under three different conditions: the factory-standard cooling system (using a thermostat and coolant), the system without a thermostat, and the system using plain water. The results show that the factory-standard cooling system produced the most stable engine performance, with an optimal operating temperature of 80–92°C, stable RPM at around 750 ± 5, and the lowest fuel consumption of 3.8 ml/min. In contrast, the removal of the thermostat resulted in high temperature fluctuations (±6–8°C), unstable engine speed reaching up to 825 RPM, and the highest fuel consumption at 5.2 ml/min. Meanwhile, the use of plain water showed no statistically significant difference but caused moderate temperature fluctuations (±4.3°C) and a higher risk of long-term corrosion. The Wilcoxon statistical test indicated significant differences between the standard and thermostat-removed systems (Z = −2.81; p < 0.05), as well as between the thermostat-removed and plain-water systems (Z = −2.14; p < 0.05). Cooling system modification particularly by removing the thermostat has a negative impact on temperature stability and engine thermal efficiency. The factory-standard cooling system remains the most efficient configuration and is strongly recommended to maintain optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and engine durability.

Abstract

The phenomenon of panic attacks has become a significant mental health issue in contemporary society, especially among university students, and requires an integrated holistic response. This study aims to identify, analyze, and comprehensively synthesize the role, intervention models, and the relevance of contemporary PAI in responding to and preventing panic attacks and anxiety disorders. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative narrative synthesis approach, collecting and analyzing relevant scientific literature sources such as journal articles and books, thus providing a comprehensive overview. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) not only serves as general spiritual support but also provides a specific and effective spiritual cognitive framework. Key findings emphasize the importance of internalizing the values of Tawakkal, implementing Dhikr and prayer practices as Islamic mindfulness mechanisms, and the role of PAI teachers as cognitive spiritual counselors. The research findings also formulate a Contemporary PAI Response Model that can be integrated into the PAI curriculum to reduce physiological and cognitive catastrophic symptoms of panic attacks.
