<![CDATA[Brown sugar (saka) is one of alternative goods to fill sugar demand in Indonesia. This product is mainly produced by local agroindustries that disperse in many regions, one of the location is in Tanah Datar Regency. The aims of this study are to describe the marketing mix and to analyze the relation between marketing mix and selling volume of brown sugar in Tanah Datar Regency. Variables of this research are 4P of marketing mix and selling volume. The data is collected from farmer who produced traditionally, that spread in three district, then using quantitative analyze. The result of this research shows that product is molded by piece of coconut shell (diameter: 3-5 cm), the color is brown, reddish and yellowish, the selling price about Rp 10.000 - 15.000/Kg, and distributted through collecting traders or directly sold in market, and also have no promotion yet. The result of Chi Square analyze shows that there are relation between selling price variable with product variable, whereas place/ distribution variable is not.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia with a current population of nearly 240 million people, is the 4th largest population in the world need quite a lot of honey. The research objective was to analyze customer characteristics honey based group of consumers, identify the attributes of honey products that affect on purchase decisions, analyze consumer behavior and customer loyalty to honey, analyze the marketing mix right is based on the analysis of consumer behavior and consumer perception of the local honey product, and formulate strategies marketing of honey in the city of Bengkulu. Determining the location of the research conducted on honey outlets in the city of Bengkulu, the selection was conducted intentionally (purposive).The location of this study were at 8 stores/outlets of honey and herbs as well as a fairly large supermarket, honey outlets which was set as the study site. Data collection was done during the months of June-August 2015. The number of respondents in this study was 96. The data collected in this research were primary and secondary data that being collected to obtain the study aims to analysis of consumer behavior is processed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and analysis of loyalty consumer using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The method results Importance Performance Analysisis based on Cartesian diagram shows that there is one attribute that is considered important and is the main priority in determining customer satisfaction. The attribute was the special price for every purchase at a time/day/month special like, Ramadhan, Eid and other interest consumen calculation. Based Satisfaction Index, the level of consumer satisfaction reached 71.30% honey. The calculation results show that in general consumers of honey was categorized satisfied (0.61 <CSI ? 0.80).]]>

<![CDATA[Labor is one of the main inputs in the production activities, including in agriculture. The quality and quantity of labor would have an impact on quality of products. Solok Selatan district is a new district in West Sumatera that has priority program for development of palm oil smallholders. The quality of labor will also determine the sustainability and success of the operational of palm oil smallholders.Field surveys and in-depth interviews had been carried out to find the profile, allocation and labor income of palm oil smallholders in Solok Selatan district. Respondents for this research were selected purposively with the criteria of land ownership is ? 2 hectares. This is because the farmers who have land area ? 2 Ha tend to use labor from outside the family and otherwise. The research finds that labors of palm oil smallholder in the research site were dominated by workers with primary education level (75%). Moreover, the average of work time allocation by respondents is was 84.5 HOK/ha/year. Meanwhile, the average income per month of the labors were Rp. 1,393,916.67 (flat land) and Rp. 1,786,083.33 - 1,837,333,33 (steep land) with assumption that each type of work available at any time and labors actively work for 8 hours per day in oil palm smallholder.]]>

<![CDATA[Research aims to calculate income, the break event point, profitability, and sensitivity at a venture grinding fish Bintang Laut. Analysis methods used was a qualitative methodology .Value analysis of income business sector was Rp 10.312.343,17. Break event point a is 18,84 kilogram or Rp 1.876.116,65. And value for profitability is 17 % and value for sensitivity is Rp 1,03. Based on the research, can be concluded that this business advantageous and can increase profit by means of increase production and boost sales.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to identify the problems and develop rice agribusiness in Mentawai Islands from upstream to downstream and formulate appropriate policy recommendations to be implemented. The research location determined by purposive namely in the village Makalo and Malakopa District of South Pagai, Sikakap subdistrict Taikako Village, Village Saumanganya District of North Pagai, Bosua Village and Village Beriulou District of South Sipora, Village Rogdog and Madobag District of South Siberut. Respondents in this study were 30 farmers. Respondents farmers selected by simple random sampling method. The results showed that the majority of rice paddies new openings in six districts consist of peatlands with a depth varying from 0.4- > 2.0 meter, fields new openings that have been implemented in the Mentawai Islands in general can not be expected to result in maximum productivity due to problems of land suitability diverse. Farmers also do not take action appropriate technical culture starting from land preparation, seed selection, weeding, fertilizing and water management. Behaviorally agriculture, farmers in Mentawai Islands is not a society that blends with the culture of rice fields, it is because basically their agricultural base is dry land agriculture with farming patterns. This will certainly give a great challenge and not easy for the cultivation of rice in the Mentawai Islands.]]>

<![CDATA[Damage to mangrove forests should be stopped by holding conservation activities, even restore to reorganize. These activities not only protect and preserve the species as well as providing a tourist attraction (ecotourism) but should also serve to improve the socio-economic conditions of the surrounding community in the context of sustainable development. This paper is to explain the problems of environmental degradation, especially the large-scale exploitation of mangrove forests in the region of Tanjung Api-Api Reclamation, Banyuasin regency of South Sumatra province. The method used is a review of research papers and reports on Reclamation area of Tanjung Api-Api and management of Special Economic Zones (SEZ). Reclamation activities Tanjung Api-Api is basically not recommended because it lowers the quality of mangrove Environment and Watershed Musi, but the public interest by taking into account all the benefits that this can be continued reclamation of origin according to applicable regulations and pay attention to aspects related impact and benefits. Damage to ecosystems due to reclamation Tanjung Api-Api quite alarming, therefore it is necessary to the recovery through the restoration of mangrove forest and watershed restoration Musi integrated. Ecological restoration is expected to restore the function and role of the mangrove ecosystem and watershed Musi.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is the integration of the market of “Telur Ayam Ras” in the Bengkulu Province. The analized district that are the City of Bengkulu, South Bengkulu District, North Bengkulu District, and Rejang Lebong District. The purpose of this research was to analyze the price developments and analyze spatial market integration of “telur ayam ras”. The data used is secondary data which is data price of “Telur Ayam Ras” in Bengkulu Province per month and taken during the past 10 years, starting in 2004 untill 2013. The analyze was performed by descriptive for price developments and to analyze spatial market integration is using Eviews 6 applications. Results of the research showed that the price development in the four districts fluctuates due to the influence of demand and supply, while integration of spatial market of eggs in the Bengkulu Province has already well integrated and there are two pairs of districts that interplay in the formation of prices, those are Bengkulu City with Rejang Lebong and South Bengkulu with North Bengkulu.]]>

<![CDATA[The objectives of this research were to determine the flow of supply chain Fresh Fruit Bunches in PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari (PT.SIL) and analysis the value of marketing margin earned each marketing agency in the supply chain Fresh Fruit Bunches in PT. SIL. Primary data and secondary data were used in this research which was taken in February 2016 to March 2016. Data collection was done by observation, recording and interviews. Data analysis technique was in this research quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this research concluded that there were three patterns of flow in the supply chain PT.SIL. The third stream of the supply chain, namely, supply chin flow pattern 1: non plasma farmers - traders - supplier - PT.SIL. The flow pattern of the supply chain II: non plasma farmers - supplier - PT.SIL. The flow pattern of the supply chain III : non plasma farmers – PT. SIL. The flow patterns of supply chain IV: plasma farmers - KSU-BKM - PT. SIL. Marketing margin obtained marketing agencies in the supply chain flow 1 was Rp 230/ kg. Stream supply chain II had a value of marketing margin Rp 230 / kg. The flow of the Supply Chain III had a value of marketing margin 0/Kg. The flow of the supply chain IV had a value of marketing margin of Rp 200 / Kg.]]>

<![CDATA[The research to aimed quantify the level of purchases of cooking oil in households in the city of Bengkulu and to analyze the factors affecting the level of purchases of cooking oil in households in the city of Bengkulu. The research area decided by purposive. The data that use in this research are primary data and secondary data. Analyzed method use Multiple Linear Regresion derived by the square of the least square ordinary (Ordinary Least Square / OLS). The result show : The average purchase of cooking oil in Bengkulu City every month of 6.6 kg / household / month. Household income positive significant effect on the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu, and number of branded cooking oil purchases negative significant effect on the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu. However, of age, education, household spending, and perceptions of the cooking oil products did not significantly influence the purchase of cooking oil in the city of Bengkulu.Keywords: Purchase, cooking oil, household]]>

Hence required planning coffee industry sea cucumber ginger on a commercial scale in the province of bengkulu and necessary a way to determine the feasibility (NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, PBP, BEP and analysis sensitivity) coffee industry sea cucumber ginger .The result of this research is coffee industry sea cucumber ginger located in kabupaten rejang lebong Bengkulu, with capacity production 9.100 kg per month or 395.642 sachets per month selling price 1900 persachet and with of these capacity so obtained financial aspects coffee sea cucumber ginger namely NPV Rp 1.439.792.088 , IRR 37,888 %, Net B/C Ratio Rp 2,124, BEP 3.536.156 sachets , PBP 2 years eight months, it was stated that the coffee industry sea cucumber ginger worthy of to be developed toward an industry that commercial.]]>
