Abstract

Partners in this community service is a Tunagrahita group in Karangpatihan Village, Balong Ponorogo. The main problem by partners is weakness in thinking, acting, and socializing with the community so that they are unable to work and unable to make ends meet. This was due to the food crisis in 1967. This condition took place over the years so resulted in the disabled people being unable to work like normal people, resulting in economic disability. To fulfill their daily needs, the Tunagrahita depend their economy on assistance from other parties (social assistance), both from the general public and assistance from the government in order to survive. Seeing these problems, the PKM team tried to provide solutions to help meet the economic needs of Tunagrahita by increasing its potential both in terms of knowledge and skills by farming such as cultivating vegetables using polybag planting media. The products produced are daily needs of the community, namely capsicum, frutescens, brassica rapa, V. unguiculata and S. lycopersicum. The method in this activity is participatory training through training, mentoring and evaluation of the program being implemented. The purpose of this service is to help the Tunagrahita community groups to improve in terms of economy, social and knowledge so that the Tunagrahita can get income to meet their needs without having to continually depend on their economy on the help of other parties. The results of this dedication are that currently 1) the Tunagrahita are starting to be able to cultivate crops., 2) the Tunagrahita are starting to be able to pack and branding of their crops and begin to be able to sell to the nearest market or shop, and 3) Tunagrahita have not been able to make simple bookkeeping of the results of plant cultivation products because of their low Intellectual Quotient (IQ) level because from the start they are not familiar with literacy.

Abstract

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) learning is a method that integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics in learning so that it can be easily understood by students. STEAM learning is carried out from an early age to help achieve 21st century skills and the industrial revolution 4.0. Parents need to understand STEAM learning in order to be able to assist children in STEAM learning activities through playing activities at home. However, many parents are not familiar with STEAM learning. The purpose of this community service is to help parents prepare to accompany their children to learn STEAM. This community service involved 77 parents and children from TK A & B PAS Assakiinah. This activity begins with collecting initial data on the STEAM learning experience. The implementation stage is carried out by socializing and distributing STEAM learning mentoring modules for parents, STEAM learning practices through playing activities with children and family members at home which are recorded with video, sharing experiences of STEAM learning practices among participants, and evaluating activities. After participating in this community service activity, parents who were previously unfamiliar with STEAM learning became aware of STEAM learning. Parents feel happy when they practice STEAM learning with their children using the modules provided. The reaction of children who are happy and excited when participating in STEAM learning through play makes parents feel comfortable in enjoying togetherness with their children. If this practice continues, it can help build closeness between parents and children in the family. Thus, the STEAM learning module can be used as a guide for parents to assist children in playing activities with their families.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve MSME financial management, by increasing knowledge of financial planning and sharia stock investment. Participants are STIE EKUITAS entrepreneurial students consisting of 21 entrepreneurs. The service method adopts the concept of Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA), problem solving 101 (Ken Watanabe) and the capital market education model which is the result of the previous team’s research. The results of the PKM evaluation showed an increase in knowledge, but in advanced and practical material the knowledge of participants did not increase significantly. In the next service program, a more integrated and structured educational model is needed, involving various parties such as practitioners, academics, communities, the Indonesia Stock Exchange and securities companies, so that the program is more effective.

Abstract

Conceptually, smart villages are related to resource management carried out by the government by utilizing appropriate technology. There are 3 main elements that make up a smart village that must be accommodated properly, namely government, community and environment. Pekon Wonodadi, Gadingrejo District is one of the leading villages in Pringsewu district, Lampung Province and has good potential in the economic field and has carried out village administration well. This condition makes it possible to transform Wonodadi into a Smart Village so that it can improve village functions and services for the community. One of the obstacles faced by Pekon Wonodadi becoming Smart Village is that the public service administration process is still not integrated into a system, so the services provided are still not optimal in terms of speed and accuracy of data. In addition, there is also a problem in the service file archiving process. In order to make Wonodadi becoming a smart village, mentoring activities and implementation of the Village Service Administration System (SIAP) were carried out where these activities correspond to the 2 elements of smart village, namely the government and the community. Evaluation of the activities was carried out by assessing the level of user acceptance of the SIAP application and it was found that the technology implemented could assist Wonodadi Village in improving the quality of service to the community and in the village administration process. This result is reflected in the survey results where 84% of the people feel that it is easier for them to get village services.
