Abstract

The problem with the teaching methods used by teachers in the classroom in science subjects, especially the material "changes in the form of objects", is that teachers only use lecture or theory methods so that the learning process is only teacher-centred and has an impact on low student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to make efforts to improve students' science learning outcomes through experimental methods at SDN 054906 Tebasan Lama. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 20 class III students at SDN 054906 Tebasan Lama. This research data collection technique was carried out using tests and non-tests, the tests contained evaluation questions to measure learning outcomes and the non-tests consisted of observation and documentation observation sheets. The data analysis technique uses reflection analysis by connecting the data obtained through tests with predetermined success criteria data. The results of the research showed that before being given experimental method treatment in cycle I (pre-test) the learning outcomes were obtained with an average score of 48 and a completion percentage of 25% of the minimum completeness criteria, whereas after being given experimental method treatment in cycle II (post-test) There was an increase in the completion percentage by 60% with an average value of 82.75 and a completion percentage of 85%. So it can be concluded that efforts to improve students' science learning outcomes using experimental methods at SDN 054906 Tebasan Lama were declared successful and had a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that there is an influence of the field trip model on the learning outcomes of poetry writing skills for fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City. This research aims to describe the influence of learning outcomes on poetry writing skills using a field trip model for fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City.This type of research is quantitative research that uses experimental research (pre-experimental design) with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City with a sample size of 48 students. The research instruments used to collect data were tests (pretest-posttest) and observation sheets.T he data analysis technique used in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the t test. The results of the research prove that there is an influence on the results of learning poetry writing skills using the field trip model for fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City.

Abstract

Currently, Islamic education is still faced with unpleasant internal criticism. One such criticism is that Islamic education is taught more through rote memorization than practice, even though Islam has many values to be applied. Learning that is based on the wishes of the teacher and does not pay attention to the individual differences of children will be difficult to encourage students to achieve learning goals. Research is carried out using literature methods, or literature studies, which involve collecting data from various sources available online, such as books, scientific journals, theses, and others. Active learning is defined as an approach in which students are actively engaged in their learning process through a variety of activities that stimulate critical thinking, reflection, and interaction between students and the learning material. This article discusses the basic concepts of active learning and highlights some strategies that can be applied in PAI learning. Active learning strategy is an educational approach that aims to improve the quality of education and requires various supporters in the teaching and learning process to achieve effective and efficient student engagement. By implementing active learning strategies, teachers want students to participate in the learning process mentally and physically, so that the learning atmosphere becomes pleasant and students do not get bored.

Abstract

This article discusses the meaning of direct learning strategies. The method used is library research methodology and is qualitative because it collects data from various books and journals. The purpose of this article is to help understand and implement hands-on learning strategies. Based on the explanation above, we can conclude that: First, direct learning strategies are a form and approach to teacher-centered learning (teacher-centered approach). This is said because the teacher plays a very dominant role in this strategy. Second, the stages of implementation and application of direct learning strategies (direct instruction) can be achieved through: Teachers communicating goals, preparing students, demonstrating teacher knowledge and skills, guiding training, checking understanding, providing feedback, and providing further practice and opportunities. Third, the advantages of direct learning are: There is a focus on learning and guidance and control from the teacher. The weakness of this strategy is that it cannot be used with students who have poor listening skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the importance of direct learning strategies, their characteristics, types, application steps, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The methodology of this research is a literature review. The findings of this study indicate that educators choose and apply direct learning strategies to convey knowledge to their students. This study focuses on several basic concepts in direct learning strategies that need to be known for their application in learning: the meaning of direct learning strategies, characteristics of direct learning strategies, types of direct learning strategies, steps for application, and the advantages and disadvantages of direct learning strategies.

Abstract

The use of learning strategies that combine aspects of entertainment is known as "edutainment" or entertainment education. This strategy aims to make the learning process more interesting and enjoyable, thereby increasing student motivation and involvement. Implementing this edutainment strategy not only makes learning more enjoyable, but can also improve students' knowledge retention, critical thinking skills and collaboration abilities. In the edutainment concept, the essence of the learning process is to create a pleasant, comfortable and amazing atmosphere, thereby facilitating the formation of a harmonious and dynamic relationship between teachers and students. Through a pedagogical dedactic approach with redagonistic nuances, the interactions that occur between teachers and students become not only effective but also relaxed and free, allowing students to interact without fear or limitations. This is very important because when students feel comfortable with their learning environment, they are more likely to actively engage and acquire knowledge in a more effective and enjoyable way. In implementing edutainment learning strategies, there are certainly advantages and disadvantages, but this is something that is common in every learning strategy. Because learning strategies are applied not to be forced but according to the needs of the ongoing learning process.

Abstract

User satisfaction is closely related to and depends on the quality of library services. However, even though user satisfaction is an important aspect for library progress, there are still some libraries that do not pay enough attention to the issue of user satisfaction, especially the North Sumatra Indonesian Ulema Council Library. The aim of this research is to determine the level of user satisfaction with the library services of the Indonesian Ulema Council of North Sumatra based on the LibQUAL+TM Method. This research uses a descriptive survey research type with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques in this research are observation and questionnaires. The results of this research show that user satisfaction with the library services of the Indonesian Ulema Council of North Sumatra is based on the Affect of Service dimension. ) with a score of -0.88, meaning that the service is considered good but does not fully meet the ideal expectations of users. Based on the Information Control dimension, the user assessment is not satisfied with the adequacy gap (AG) with a score of -0.32, meaning the user is not satisfied with the service received and the superiority gap (SG) with a score of -1.79, meaning the service is considered not good and is beyond tolerance zone or completely does not meet the ideal expectations desired by the user. Based on the Library as Place dimensions, it shows an adequacy gap (AG) with a score of 0.55, meaning the user is quite satisfied and a superiority gap (SG) with an assessment score of -0.44, meaning the service is still considered good but does not fully meet the user's ideal expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the fulfillment of the needs of user collections and to find out the obstacles faced in meeting the needs of users. The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive research that uses interviews to describe data obtained by researchers directly from informants. Some of the data collection techniques carried out in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, researchers conducted interviews with 4 informants, namely the Head of the Archives and Library Office of Bener Maeriah Regency, the Head of the Library Section, and 2 visiting users. The results of the research revealed that in fulfilling the needs of users of library collections, the Archives Office and the district library were actually busy carrying out several activities, namely the selection of library materials, the procurement of library materials, and the care of library materials. However, in meeting the needs of users, namely library collections are constrained by a very minimal budget, inadequate collections, human resources and limited time access, thus affecting the fulfillment of user needs to meet the needs of users.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) determine the learning motivation of students with disabilities at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah; 2) to determine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of disabled students at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah; 3) to determine the obstacles for Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of disabled students at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. This research uses a qualitative research approach with field research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. Then, data sources were obtained from primary data sources and secondary data sources (Islamic religious education books, references related to students with disabilities, learning motivation, previous theses, articles, journals and internet sites). Apart from that, data sources were also obtained from research subjects, namely the school principal, PAI subject teachers, and 5 students with disabilities at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. The data analysis technique used is an inductive qualitative data analysis technique. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the learning motivation of disabled students at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah is not good due to several factors, namely the less conducive learning environment, bullying, and the lack of self-confidence of disabled students. The role of PAI teachers in increasing learning motivation is as a demonstrator, class manager, facilitator and mediator, evaluator and motivator. Some of the obstacles for teachers in increasing the learning motivation of disabled students are in growing and increasing learning motivation because students lack self-confidence, inadequate facilities, communication with deaf disabled students, there is no special accompanying teacher (GPK) who accompanies them in class and integrates learning methods with needs of students with disabilities.

Abstract

This thesis aims to: 1) Understand the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in developing the character of students at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo; 2) Knowing the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in developing the character of students at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo; 3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project in developing the character of students at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo.This research uses a qualitative type of research using a descriptive approach to collect in-depth information from relevant sources such as teachers, school principals and students through interviews, observations and documentation. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed using data analysis, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The research results show that: 1) The concept of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project used at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo is in accordance with the design expected by the Ministry of Education and Culture, where the aim is to motivate students to contribute more to the surrounding environment. The concept prepared includes several stages, including forming a coordinator and facilitator team, selecting character dimensions to be developed, selecting themes and activity topics, allocating time, and creating modules. 2) The implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in developing the character of students at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo has been successfully carried out through three stages, namely the inspiration stage, the creation stage and the dedication stage. Through the project implementation process, character development is embedded in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. 3) Supporting factors for the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project in developing the character of students at SMP N 3 Kertek Wonosobo include choosing a theme that is appropriate to the school environment, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, and collaboration between students, teachers and the community. The inhibiting factors are budget limitations, lack of student readiness, and less effective technical distribution of picket teacher facilitators.
