Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the habituation method in increasing the independence of children with special needs. The habituation method, which involves repetition, consistency, and positive reinforcement, has been widely applied in various educational and therapeutic contexts for children with special needs. The research methodology uses a one-group pre-test-post-test design. A total of 30 children with special needs from three inclusive schools in Madiun participated in this study. The results of this study include the design of the habituation method carried out in several steps with a focus on how to accustom children with special needs to their respective levels of independence, especially in daily life. Steps that can be taken in designing the habituation method to increase the independence of children with special needs include creating lesson plans (RPPH) tailored to independence indicators, which are then assessed through observation supervised by their teachers. Changes in the independence of early childhood using the habituation method were observed. There is effectiveness in children's independence with the habituation method. However, a deeper empirical evaluation is still needed to ensure the benefits and effectiveness of this method.

Abstract

Teacher discipline is one of the key factors in creating an effective and quality educational environment. Without good discipline, the learning process in madrasahs can be disrupted, so that educational goals are not achieved optimally. Various studies show that teacher discipline has a significant effect on student achievement and learning quality. Therefore, managerial strategies implemented by madrasah principals are crucial in improving teacher discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach, the research design used is a case study. The research subjects consisted of madrasah principals, teachers, and administrative staff who have knowledge and experience related to discipline issues and managerial strategies applied. Data were collected through several techniques, including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation.Based on the research results from interviews and observations obtained by researchers, it can be said that the principal's efforts in improving teacher discipline in the field of learning evaluation can be said to be well implemented as evidenced by the implementation of evaluations that have been carried out well by all teachers. By paying attention to the research description and the results of the research findings and discussion, the general conclusion of the research is that the efforts of the madrasah principal in an effort to improve teacher discipline have been achieved in accordance with the expected goals.

Abstract

In the future, the reading and writing skills of the younger generation will be crucial to improving their abilities. This reading corner has several objectives, namely increasing interest in reading and supporting a culture of literacy in the community. This program aims to describe the process of implementing literacy activities at SMP Integral Hidayatullah, describe the factors that support and hinder literacy activities at SMP Integral Hidayatullah, and the results of implementing literacy activities at SMP To describe SMP Integral Hidayatullah in terms of student character. The approach used in this program is a qualitative approach that utilizes data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are determined by using various reading facilities such as the school library and reading corner. Some remedial programs such as Thursday Reading are also carried out as habituation activities outside the classroom, and reading 15 minutes before learning is a habituation activity that occurs in the classroom. The participation of all stakeholders in learning activities is a supporting factor for the success of literacy activities in the school but the relatively long distance to the local library is an inhibiting factor for literacy activities. Consistent student reading activities and the ability to apply the results of reading in classroom activities provide strong evidence that school-based literacy activities have a positive impact on students' reading skills.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model as an alternative in solving problems. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN 03 Bengkayang, Bengkayang District, Bengkayang Regency, consisting of 29 students. This research focuses on improving student learning outcomes. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a discovery learning model. This research consists of two cycles, where each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Based on the research results, the percentage of achievement in the pre-cycle was 17%, cycle I reached 45%, and cycle II reached 93% in the very good category. The obstacles encountered were a lack of effective time and materials, and the steps taken to overcome these obstacles were to examine students' activities and abilities in class in order to achieve satisfactory results. The conclusion of this research shows that the use of the discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, the discovery learning model can be used as a model applied in science learning

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology forces educational institutions to adapt quickly. Administrators and educational practitioners need to innovate in managing curriculum and learning to develop students' talents and interests, and ensure that graduates have competencies that are in accordance with the demands of the times. Effective learning management organizes content and activities according to students' needs while paying attention to individual differences, with a focus on developing critical thinking and managerial skills and utilizing information technology. Teachers play a key role in curriculum implementation. Effective educators are able to apply and assess curriculum intuitively. Curriculum development can be spontaneous and reflective, involving the experiences and reflections of curriculum developers. The balance between various curriculum models is important, and the socio-political context of the school must also be considered to improve the quality of education. This study examines the development of curriculum management and learning at the Minhajussalikin Islamic Boarding School, Banyuwangi. The curriculum at Minhajussalikin combines national standards with elements of Islamic education, aiming to produce students who are experts in science and religion. This study answers two main questions: the principles of curriculum management and learning development, and its implementation at Minhajussalikin. The findings are expected to provide insights for educational practitioners. The methodology used is a case study with a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis model, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Minhajussalikin has succeeded in integrating Islamic values ​​with modern educational practices to develop students who are balanced and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Literacy culture is an important element in education to form a character who likes to read in students. This research aims to examine the implementation of literacy culture at State Elementary School 03 Bengkayang and its influence on the formation of characters who like to read. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that the implementation of literacy culture at SDN 03 Bengkayang is quite effective, although there are still several obstacles such as a lack of supporting facilities and low student interest in reading. However, with the various literacy programs implemented, there has been an increase in interest in reading and the formation of characters who like to read in students.

Abstract

Corruption is a big problem that Indonesia must face in moving towards a country free from corruption. Indonesia is very close to problems and issues regarding corruption crimes, where corruption is also a big problem that Indonesia must face in moving towards a country that is free from corruption for the progress of the country itself, as for the role of society, especially the younger generation, in a country or government, where the key is needed. The attitude and mentality of the community, in this case the younger generation, as pioneers in fighting corrupt practices in the running of a government in a country are determining steps in managing a government that is free from corruption. Then, by cultivating and forming an anti-corruption character and mentality among the younger generation who will later be able to emphasize anti-corruption values ​​which can be a prevention of criminal acts of corruption in Indonesia. Education plays a very important role in shaping the character of a nation, through education the hope of prosperity is often present. The younger generation has great potential and a role as agents of change in the progress of a nation. Abstract

School strategies in improving the reputation of good favorite schools are highly expected to make them reputable and favorite schools. Based on this statement, the formulation of the problem in this study is how is the school strategy in improving the reputation of favorite schools in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung, Tabalong Regency and what are the driving and inhibiting factors? The objectives to be achieved are to determine the school strategy in improving the reputation of favorite schools in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung, Tabalong Regency and the driving and inhibiting factors. This type of research is field research and the approach used is a qualitative approach. The object of this study is the school strategy in improving the reputation of favorite schools in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung, Tabalong Regency. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and students of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. The data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentary. Data processing techniques used data reduction, data display and data verification and data analysis used qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that; 1) School strategy in order to improve the reputation of favorite schools in SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung, Tabalong Regency by formulating strategies, planning strategies to be implemented in the future, implementing the strategy and finally evaluating it. 2) Driving and inhibiting factors. Driving factors are in the form of large funds obtained from BOS, and cooperation from all parties. Inhibiting factors in improving the reputation of SMKN 1 Tanjung are not so significant, because they are only constrained by the time it is achieved or unexpected, for example changing schedules, uncertain natural conditions, sick students, or the condition of accompanying teachers who suddenly get sick, and other small things and all of that has been anticipated or overcome well.

Abstract

This study originated from the discovery of a phenomenon of lack of discipline of class VI B students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat, one of which is the impact of social media tiktok and whatsapp. The purpose of this study is to describe and find out about: 1) patterns of social media use by students, 2) forms of student discipline, 3) the impact of tiktok and whatsapp social media on student discipline, 4) the role of the class teacher on student discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. The results of the study show that: (1) The pattern of using social media by students a day is at least around seven to eight hours, for social media followers tiktok has around thirty to one hundred while on whatsapp has contacts around thirty to four hundred. On average, social media tiktok and whatsapp are used by students to create content, watch videos, create stories (stories) and to share messages. (2) The forms of student discipline are as follows: a. there are still students doing assignments at school. b. students pay less attention to the teacher's explanation in front of the class because students are bored and sleepy. c. students' lack of responsibility in collecting assignments on time. d. lack of discipline in dressing. e. students are active and diligent in asking questions. (3) The positive impact of social media tiktok and whatsapp is that students are more creative in doing assignments and looking for information as well as active and confident. While the negative impact is the lack of focus on learning and delaying school assignments, as well as exposure to negative content through the behavior shown. (4) The role of the class teacher in student discipline is cooperation with parents, namely the existence of a whatsapp group between parents and homeroom teachers to control, inform and remind each other. giving homework (homework) to distract playing social media. giving attention in the form of advice to be wise with social media. conducting cellphone raids during class hours at school.
