Abstract

The results of this study aim to understand the use of Elementary Mathematics Games in Mathematics and Science Learning for PIAUD and PGMI Study Program Students during the PAUD-SD transition period. The research design used a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaire distribution. The results of the study found that: 1) Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics Games amounted to 92%; 2) the technique of using Elementary Mathematics Games in lecture activities has increased by 85%; 3) the difficulty faced in the process of using SD Mathematics Games amounted to 80%; 4) the integration technique of SD Mathematics Games is very easy to apply in activities Mathematics and Science Learning in PIAUD and PGMI Study Programs is 90%; 5) The percentage of usefulness in the use of Elementary Mathematics Games in the Mathematics and Science Learning process in the PIAUD and PGMI Study Programs is 95% with a benefit level of 76-100%. Thus, the use of Elementary Mathematics Games can be used in developing material from teaching materials for lecturers, teachers, and students in learning process activities.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in the post-pandemic educational environment are already underway in both schools and universities. However, there are also those who still apply a hybrid learning system, one of which is the learning system at Indraprasta PGRI University which still applies a hybrid learning system, namely the physics of motion course. Utilizing Android-based learning media can enjoy learning experiences, facilitating access to various educational resources. It is important to know the needs of students and educators in the process of learning physics of motion to improve the quality of learning, namely by conducting a needs analysis. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of the need for Android-based motion physics learning media. The method used in the research is exploratory descriptive research. From the results of observations and interviews conducted with several motion physics lecturers and observing learning activities in class, the methods used in learning still use classical methods. Learning the physics of motion using Matlab requires a video guide so that it is easy for students to understand. From the results of filling out the questionnaire via a questionnaire, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis of students' needs for Android learning media in the physics of motion course showed that 88.31% answered that they agreed with the development of an Android-based motion physics learning application. So it can be concluded that the development of Android-based motion physics learning media is needed by Informatics Engineering students at Indraprasta PGRI University.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the use of the traditional game Congklak as a creative and educational learning medium in the context of Citizenship Education (PKn). The research method uses a literature review approach, by summarizing literature that is relevant to the research topic with the analytical model used in this literature review method involving several stages, namely sample selection, validation and review, data collection, data processing and analysis and preparation of a conceptual framework, which can served. The focus is on analyzing the benefits and implications of using Congklak Nusantara (COLAKTRA) in Civics learning. The results show that Congklak has an important role in children's development, supporting their physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual growth. The use of Congklak in Civics learning through COLAKTRA increases student involvement and creates a pleasant learning atmosphere. The integration of Civics values ​​into Congklak makes it a medium that invites players to reflect on and appreciate Indonesia's cultural riches. The conclusion of this research confirms that COLAKTRA is not just a game, but also an effort to preserve cultural heritage and form a generation that loves the country. It is hoped that the use of traditional games in Civics learning can help students understand and experience the diversity of Indonesia, so that they become competent citizens. Thus, COLAKTRA has the potential to be an effective tool in achieving the goals of citizenship education.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of using Talkpal.AI in improving the English-speaking ability of university students. The research problem is to what extent Talkpal.AI can enhance fluency and intelligibility in English speaking. The research methodology used was quantitative research with an experimental approach where the experimental group used Talkpal.AI while the control group did not use the application. The research participants were university students with varying levels of English proficiency. Data was collected through an initial test to assess the level of English speaking ability before intervention with Talkpal.AI and a final test after a certain period of using the application. Then, an independent t-test was conducted with significant results. The findings of this study show that students have not widely used Talkpal.AI because they do not know the Talkpal.AI tool and are not facilitated by the institution. Participants in the experimental group showed considerably improved speaking fluency and clarity compared to the control group. In addition, survey results showed that participants had a positive perception of using Talkpal.AI to support English learning. This study confirms that Talkpal.AI positively impacts improving English speaking in a university setting. The implications of this research highlight the potential of Talkpal.AI as an effective tool in supporting English language learning in higher education institutions, as well as suggesting further integration of this type of technology in the English language teaching curriculum. Hopefully, this research provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of using Talkpal.AI in improving English speaking skills among university students. The results of this study can provide helpful information for developing more effective English learning strategies in the academic environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of religious and social values ​​of individuals and society is now increasingly dimming. This has implications for students' social character, where moral or ethical values ​​are ignored, egoistic, and a diminished sense of empathy for others. This research aims to determine the instillation of social values ​​in Islamic Education learning at SMPN 15 Bandung. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe in detail the problems studied. The data collected came from primary data through observation, interviews and documentation at SMPN 15 Bandung. The results of the research show that instilling social values ​​in Islamic Education learning can be done through three social programs, including: 1) compensation program, in instilling these social values, Islamic Education teachers do not only focus on learning in the classroom, but Islamic Education teachers provide a good role model for students by providing donations to students who experience disaster. 2) Friday blessing program, this program has made students aware of the importance of sharing and being useful for others, in order to form students' characters who have social awareness and sympathy for others by providing good role models through sharing food every Friday. 3) 5S program, teachers are required to be good role models for students in the process of familiarizing themselves with 5S (Salam, Senyum, Sapa, Sopan, Santun), both in the school environment and outside the school environment. This research has implications for the importance of Islamic Education learning in instilling social values ​​in schools.

Abstract

The millennial generation is a generation of the 21st century whose presence is often called the Gen-Z generation. Psychology is the main difference between this generation and other generations. Factors that support them to remain enthusiastic in learning need to be implemented. In line with this. This research aims to describe survey results related to social support from peers in shaping self-esteem for the millennial generation. This research is a descriptive survey research. The main data sources are observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research steps taken were analyzing the data and validating the data with expert opinions, as well as several relevant studies. The research respondents were class X students at MA Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta. The research results show that. Peer support that has been carried out by MA Sunan Pandanaran students is social emotional support; award information. And instrumental. Based on the results of interviews and filling out questionnaires, several forms of social support from peers are considered to be able to increase self-esteem for students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the SKI teaching materials for grade XI, even in the semester published by KEMENAG, especially in terms of the clarity of the material content and its relevance using Bloom's taxonomy analysis, covering students' cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and psychological domains. The researcher used library research through reading, reviewing, and analyzing several available literature, including books, notes, and reports of previous research results. The research technique uses descriptive analysis based on the collection of available sources. The study began by selecting Chapter 2 on Islamic Civilization During the Ottoman Empire from the teaching materials relevant to the 2019 Curriculum. This material was analyzed using Bloom's Taxonomy to evaluate the scope of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The data that has been collected will then be analyzed descriptively to identify relevant findings. The results of this study state that the teaching materials for Islamic Cultural History for grade XI semester I have presented subject matter that is by the revised Bloom's Taxonomy based on the cognitive, affective, psychomotor domains and student development. Although there are still some weaknesses, it can be said that the material is relevant to the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy, which also meets the criteria of KI and KD. This teaching material is expected to be a student's reference book when studying. Thus, educators are expected to be able to deliver the material using various methods so that students can easily understand and not get bored so that learning objectives can be achieved to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is the latest innovation that takes time for teachers to adjust their teaching methods. This study aims to analyze teachers' ability to develop learning tools in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 32 Cakranegara. The focus of this research is on grade 4A and 4B teachers, using observation, documentation, and interview methods to collect data regarding teachers' competencies and their learning designs. The results showed that SDN 32 Cakranegara has implemented various concepts from Merdeka Belajar. Teachers demonstrate skills in designing learning tools such as teaching modules, Learner Worksheets (LKPD), media, teaching materials, and evaluations, in accordance with the required stages and components. However, in its implementation, there are challenges such as arranging the Flow of Learning Objectives (ATP) to be more organized and systematic. In addition, teachers also have difficulties in preparing the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and choosing appropriate assessments to evaluate learning. The limitations of student books, teachers' lack of ability and readiness to use varied learning methods and media, as well as limited technology skills, are also obstacles. The wide range of teaching materials and the difficulty in determining appropriate class projects in grade IV are also challenges. To overcome this, it is recommended that teachers seek additional references on learning assessment and attend training regularly to improve their competence.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to describe learning constraints; 2) to describe the initial didactic design; 3) to describe learning activities when using the initial didactic design; 4) to describe the final design of the didactic material for learning mathematics from KPK and FPB. For the purpose of this investigation, a method known as Didactic Design Research (DDR) was used to conduct qualitative research. Data collection used interview methods, tests, documentation, and video recordings. The didactic design research process has several stages, which are 1) Pedagogical Didactic Anticipation (ADP) Analysis, 2) Metapedagogical analysis, which is the second choice, and 3) Past examination. Students showed various responses during their education, as shown by the investigation findings. Even though learning can take a short time, through the use of Pahima media, students can understand and enjoy learning about FPB and KPK. Therefore, in the final didactic design, there are improvements that emphasize the practice questions that have been provided more, and as a consequence, the researcher made modifications to these questions. At the beginning of the lesson, there were two questions that students had not completed correctly. This collection of questions was based on the idea of ​​​​LCM and FPB as a fairy tale, with the first and second questions discussing different story questions from the examples explained earlier. Children could not understand these components as a whole.

Abstract

The Nine-Year Compulsory Education Policy in Indonesia aims to enhance access to and quality of basic education for all school-aged children. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers and parents regarding this policy and to identify the factors influencing their views. The research methodology employed includes both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with teachers and parents in several regions of Indonesia. The analysis techniques used include frequency distribution, percentages and averages to describe teachers' and parents' perceptions of the 9 Year Compulsory Education policy. The results indicate that the majority of teachers and parents support this policy, despite some challenges in its implementation. Factors such as economic conditions, accessibility to education, and the quality of educational facilities influence their perceptions. The recommendations from this study include increased policy socialization, provision of adequate educational facilities, and enhancement of teacher competencies.
