Abstract

The Islamic Students Movement of Indonesia is an organization aimed at the formation of Indonesian Muslims who are afraid of Allah SWT, righteous, knowledgeable, competent, and responsible in practicing their knowledge and commitment to the realization of the ideals of Indonesia's independence. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the values contained in the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ah (ASWAJA), which is made PMII, as the basis of the value of thought and the theological foundation. The method used in this research is the qualitative descriptive approach, which is a way to find new meanings, explain a condition of existence, determine the frequency of occurrence of something, and categorize information. In this study, there are four principles of values that can be transformed into the direction of the PMII movement, which is a framework of thinking to be able to formulate concrete solutions to the problems that exist in the current reality. There are four kinds of worshippers in the Qur’an: al-Tawassuth, Al-Tawazun, al-Asamuh, and al-I’tidal.

Abstract

The dynamics of tolerance in Indonesia have always been a major concern for a pluralistic society. Social conflicts often use religion as an excuse to worsen the situation, so religion becomes an issue that always causes conflict in society. Therefore, the views of Sayid Qutub and Christianity in the Gospel about tolerance can be used as an idea to promote perfect tolerance in Indonesia. This research formulates three problems, first, the comparison of the concept of tolerance from the perspective of Sayid Qutub and Christianity in the Gospel. Second, what things should be considered by the government in promoting tolerance in Indonesia according to Sayid Qutub's view? Third, how interfaith dialog affects the progress of tolerance according to Sayid Qutub in Indonesia. This research uses library research with an interpretative analysis approach. The results of this study show that the interreligious dialog initiated by Sayid Qutub in Fi Zhilalil Qur'an can be a solution to promote peace among religious communities in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the government pays little attention to interfaith dialog, which has been infiltrated by personal and political interests, as well as intolerant doctrines carried out by religious leaders. Therefore, the government should immediately address and establish interfaith dialog to promote tolerance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Probolinggo is one of the regions in Indonesia that boasts a diverse range of cultures, languages, ethnicities, and religions. This diversity can be a contributing factor to divisions and even conflicts. Religious moderation within the campus environment of Panca Marga University is a collective effort to enhance awareness and promote unity. The implementation of religious moderation within the Student Islamic Propagation Organization (BDK) aims to instill moderate values and tolerance in students as preparation for engaging within the broader society. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. This chosen approach enables researchers to attain a deeper comprehension from the perspective of the research subjects. This method places a particular focus on field observations, which are carried out to gather precise data by directly engaging with the research subjects. Data collection techniques involve interviews, documentation, and observations. The author utilizes a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of investigating the mentioned situations and conditions, with the outcomes being suitable for presentation in a research report. The findings of this study indicate that religious moderation activities within the Student Islamic Propagation Organization encompass various aspects, including scholarly, artistic, social, cultural, and religious activities.

Abstract

This journal focuses on the problem of spiritual emptiness in today's society. The author explores how advances in science and rationalism may not only satisfy human desires for transcendental value, and how a balanced component of religion can help overcome this problem. This research specifically explores the science of Sufism, by focusing on the book Ihya' Ulumuddin by Imam Al-Ghazali. This writing takes a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the concepts presented in the books by Imam Al-Ghazali. This allows for a deeper understanding of the topics to be covered. And in the formulation of the problem in this study, namely what dhikr is in accordance with the book of Imam Al-Ghazali and what are the effects of dhikr treatment applied by researchers on the emotionality of parents at Griya Kebon Agung 1 Sukodono Sidoarjo Housing Complex. The purpose of this study is that the problems that occur are: parents' emotional level anxiety, juvenile delinquency that occurs in children who are entering their teens, modern times are increasingly sophisticated, lack of understanding of the benefits of dhikr, and how parents control their emotions.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil sebagai sarana pertama dan utama berinteraksinya anak. Salah satu urgensi penanamn dan pembentukan karakter bagi anak adalah menanaman keimanan harus menjadi skala prioritas bagi orang tua, sehingga anak memiliki krakter iman yang kuat. Pendidikan dalam keluarga bertujuan untuk membentuk anak yang berkepribadian Islamy yaitu memiliki kekuatan iman sebagai landasan ketika berpikir dan bersikap didalam menjalani kehidupan. Anak yang memiliki kepribadian Islam adalah anak yang memiliki kelebihan dalam banyak hal, sehingga mereka bisa dikatakan sebagai anak unggul. Anak unggul adalah anak yang terarah cara berpikir dan bersikapnya berdasarkan Iman Islam dan memiliki kemampuan serta keterampilan yang bisa ia gunakan untuk kehidupannya sendiri maupun kehidupan bermasyarakat dan bernegara.Tujuan pembiasaan dan pendidikan penanaman iman dalam keluarga kepada anak adalah untuk, (1) memperkokoh keyakinan anak bahwa Allah-lah satu-satunya Tuhan pencipta alam, sehingga dia terhindar dari perbutan syirik, (2) agar anak mengetahui hakikat keberadaannya sebagai manusia makhluk Allah, dan (3) mencetak tingkah laku anak menjadi tingkah laku yang Islami yang berakhlaq mulia.

Abstract

This paper will focus on discussing the rules of the Koran interpretation in asbāb al-nuzūl and its implementation in āyah al-ahkām. It’s cause one of the requirements for a person to understand the Koran correctly, especially āyah al-ahkām, is to have a good knowledge of asbāb al-nuzūl. Abstract

The Al-Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims which is the first source of Islamic teachings that must be believed. In the process of its descent, it underwent many processes in which its decline occurred both because of the form of questions and the events that occurred. The Al-Qur'an was revealed to giving guidance to humans so that they can follow the path of truth by upholding the principles of life based on faith in Allah and also informing them of things that have passed, current events and those that will come. At first most of the Qur'an was revealed for general purposes but during the time of Rasulullah SAW and his companions they witnessed many historical events as well as special events as well as questions about law so that they required firmness and asked for detailed explanations about religious matters so several verses were revealed from Al-Qur'an to answer questions that arise, this is what is meant by Asbabun Nuzul... Researchers realize how important the Al-Qur'an is for Muslims, so the Al-Qur'an is not just for reading and understanding its meaning. but we also have to know the reasons why the verses in the Koran were revealed by Allah SWT. In research on Asbabun Nuzul in the Qur'an, we will discuss various things related to Asbabun Nuzul, including the meaning of Asbabun Nuzul, its types and divisions, rules, specifications and the benefits of studying Asbabun Nuzul as well as the philosophical implications of Asbabun Nuzul in Qur'anic sciences. Abstract

This research analyzes the role and influence of Islamic philanthropy in empowering the youth across cultures. A qualitative research method with a literature study approach is employed. The study highlights the practices of Islamic philanthropy by youth from diverse cultural backgrounds and cross-cultural perspectives in their implementation. Global experiences also play a crucial role in empowering the youth. The findings of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening education and nurturing Islamic values to encourage youth involvement in philanthropy and promote cross-cultural interaction and collaboration to enhance their understanding and engagement in larger philanthropic initiatives.

Abstract

Moral degradation is increasingly coming to the surface, this is one of the negative impacts of the progress of the times that have entered the digital era. The progress of the times can actually be an opportunity to increase competitiveness, because it’s easy to access all sources of knowledge. But the facts, on the ground show that the progress of the times also has a negative effect, the one is moral degradation. This happens because students don’t have the maturity of thinking and need strict instructions in its use. Character as a personality formed from habits can be a fortress for students to face the increasingly brilliant progress of the times. Character cultivation cannot be separated from the role of teachers as educators in schools who have obligations in shaping the character of students. This study will discuss the position of teachers in building the character of students so that students have mental maturity to face existing changes. This research uses a type of literature research with a qualitative approach. To support the use of these types and approaches, researchers collect data using documentation methods. The results of this study show that character education is an important guide for students to face changes in the progress of the times. Through noble character, students can sort out what is appropriate and what is not. It takes a massive role of teachers so that character cultivation in students is maximized. This character education does not only focus on one level of learning but must be taught throughout life.

Abstract

The Islamic Boarding School is a special educational institution that focuses on religious learning. At first, the Islamic Boarding School used the Turats book as a reference in teaching morality to the studens. However, at the Salman Assalam Islamic Boarding School, there are visible developments in religious and scientific education, especially in the field of science and technology. This study aims to examine the integration of science and religion based on religious moderation at the Salman Assalam Islamic Boarding School in Cirebon. The methodology used is a qualitative method through library research, which includes field studies with observations, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that the Salman Assalam Cirebon Science Islamic Boarding School applied an integrated science and religion approach based on religious moderation with various strategies. The learning process in this Islamic Boarding School combines scientific knowledge with religious values in order to create a holistic understanding of the world and life. The implementation of religious moderation values instilled is the formation of morals. The values of religious moderation are actualized in cognitive, affective, and practical aspects.
