Abstract

The modern generation, which is closely related to digitalization, needs guidance in using various social media. By delving deeper into the relevance of religious knowledge in the digital era through the guidance of the Qur'an, the modern generation can build ethics in communicating and socializing to create a healthy digital space. The descriptive qualitative research method is used to explore information through a library research approach so that the information obtained is more in-depth. The study of Surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 on communication ethics implies that communication is a crucial aspect of community life that must be carried out by upholding moral and ethical values. It should emphasize the importance of maintaining manners in communicating, such as not mocking, criticizing, using bad titles, having negative prejudices, finding fault, or talking about other people's bad points. The noble values contained in this verse, such as mutual respect, tolerance, good intentions, and monotheism, are the main foundations in building harmonious social interactions, both directly and in digital spaces. In the modern era, applying these principles is a strategic solution to overcome communication challenges in the digital era, including phenomena such as cyberbullying, by encouraging the creation a more positive and respectful digital environment. Moral education based on Islamic teachings plays a significant role in instilling noble behavior so that society can face the development of the times, always adhere to the values of the Qur'an, and make the Prophet Muhammad SAW the primary role model.

Abstract

Evaluation in education is an important component in assessing the extent to which learning objectives are achieved. This study examines the concept of evaluation in Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Hadith, and explores its relevance and application in the context of modern education. In Islamic education, evaluation is not only limited to academic assessment, but also to students' moral and spiritual development. The Qur'an and Hadith provide a framework for understanding evaluation as a holistic process that includes intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions. This study highlights the importance of integrating these values into the modern education system to produce individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have strong character and spiritual awareness. Although there are challenges in implementing Islamic-based evaluation in modern education that focuses more on quantitative assessment, this study suggests that Islamic evaluation principles can enrich modern education, creating a balance between academic achievement and personal growth.

Abstract

Considering the importance of legal clarity regarding halal (permissible) and haram (forbidden) matters in Islamic law, especially concerning food consumption, and the growing popularity of processed fruit products among the community, this research becomes crucial to discuss. This holds significant relevance in the lives of Muslim individuals. While the Quran provides clear guidance on what halal and haram are, a holistic understanding of classical Quranic exegesis can offer a deeper and more relevant insight into the context of modern life. The analysis focuses on the processing of fruits, considering the materials and methods used. Evaluation is conducted based on the halal criteria outlined in classical exegesis. This research employs a literature review and Quranic exegesis analysis method to scrutinize the concepts of halal and haram in processed fruits from the perspective of the Quran, utilizing a holistic approach to classical exegesis. The expected outcome of this study is to contribute to Islamic literature and practice by integrating classical exegesis concepts into the understanding of halal and haram in processed fruit products.

Abstract

In the decision of the Panel of Judges with Case Number 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd, only the wife and daughter of the Heir are entitled to inherit the inheritance. The Heir's brothers and sisters are hindered from inheriting by the daughter. Meanwhile, this provision differs from the provisions in fiqh, which do not mention siblings who may inherit together with daughters. This study aimed to analyze the decision of the Samarinda Religious Court in case Number 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd and to find out why the Judge took the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas and overruled the opinions of other Ulama. This study uses a qualitative research method with a normative legal approach. The study results explain that the Panel of Judges determined case no. 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd concerning the determination of heirs where a daughter obstructs the inheritance rights of a sibling of the Heir, referring to the Supreme Court Jurisprudence Number 86 K/AG/1994, as well as inheritance provisions concerning the principle of hijab-mahjub in Book II Revised Edition 2013, which contains the legal principle "a daughter may obstruct the inheritance rights of a sibling of the heir", based on the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas. However, the Panel of Judges did not fully understand Ibn 'Abbas' opinion because, according to Ibn 'Abbas, a daughter may obstruct the inheritance rights of a female heir, but he does not make the daughter close the rights of a male heir as an heir.

Abstract

The construction of Islamic science constantly changes according to the unavoidable needs of its time. In the era of traditionalism, Islamic science's construction seems more normative and theological. In the era of modernism, the construction of Islamic science appears to be more empirical and sociological. Unlike the era of postmodernism, the construction of Islamic science is more holistic and integrative. With a qualitative descriptive approach, this writing aims to examine the construction of Islamic science that is holistic-integrative in higher education in the current era of postmodernism. This writing method uses library studies by reviewing various literature following the discussion. This writing produces several findings as follows. First, the era of postmodernism is an era of searching for the correct form (model) by using a "combined model" or "Islamization of science model." Second, in the era of globalization, it is impossible to avoid the development of technology and science, so efforts are needed to integrate and combine religious sciences and general sciences; further studies must continue to be carried out. With these various further studies, the right analytical tool will be found in the era of postmodernism like today.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how prophetic education affects character education in Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Malo. Qualitative methods are used to gain a deeper understanding of how prophetic values are integrated in the learning process and shape the character of students. Madrasah heads, madrasah deputy heads for public relations, curriculum fields, and teachers were also interviewed to obtain data. The results of the study show that prophetic education is applied through various activities that take place daily and weekly. However, in its implementation, there are several obstacles, such as the limitation of worship infrastructure that is not spacious and the influence of the environment outside the madrasah that is difficult for teachers to control. This causes the application of prophetic education to not be fully optimal. Therefore, synergy is needed between madrassas and parents in guiding and overseeing the behavior of students so that character formation in accordance with prophetic values can run more effectively.
