Abstract

Digital transformation has become an essential component for enhancing business competitiveness in a rapidly evolving economic environment. For MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), financial resilience and business feasibility are pivotal for ensuring sustainable growth. However, many MSMEs still struggle to adopt digital tools effectively, resulting in inefficient resource management and limited financial insights. This study addresses the gap by examining the impact of digital transformation, particularly through the use of platforms like Lamikro and Fintech applications, on improving financial planning and operational efficiency. Using comprehensive ROI, NPV, and BEP analyses, the research highlights significant enhancements in profitability, decision-making accuracy, and risk mitigation among MSMEs that integrate digital technologies. The findings emphasize that digital transformation fosters better financial resilience and positions MSMEs for long-term competitiveness and sustainability in a dynamic market.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the role of Strategic Human Resource Development (SHRD) in enhancing employee skills and fostering organizational growth at the Glawan Village Government, Pabelan District, Semarang Regency. The study adopts a qualitative research approach to investigate how the Glawan Village Government implements SHRD practices and their impact on employee performance and public service outcomes. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with village officials, section heads, and staff from various departments in the Glawan Village Government, using a purposive sampling method to select participants with relevant experience in SHRD. The findings reveal that aligning SHRD practices with the organizational goals of the Glawan Village Government is crucial for achieving long-term success, as organizations that integrate employee development initiatives into their strategic plans experience improved innovation, productivity, and employee retention. Additionally, technical and managerial skills were found to be prioritized, reflecting the growing demand for competencies necessary to navigate the constantly changing demands of public services in the digital era. However, challenges were identified by the Glawan Village Government that failed to fully integrate SHRD into their strategies, resulting in inconsistent outcomes and missed opportunities for improving public services. The study concludes that SHRD should be viewed not just as a tool for enhancing individual performance but as a strategic lever for driving the broader organizational success of the Glawan Village Government. To stay competitive and achieve sustainable growth, the Glawan Village Government must ensure its employee development programs are visionary and aligned with future community demands.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between economic growth and income level on climate change resilience. An income-level variable is a group of state income consisting of lower, middle, and upper-income countries. Climate change resilience has dimensions of susceptibility, coping capability, and adaptation capacities. This study estimates 174 countries in the 2019 period. Data were obtained from the World Bank and World Risk Report. Data analysis using canonical correlation. The research findings show that the gap between exposure and vulnerability in low-income countries is more prominent than in other groups. Low-income levels have a relationship with low resilience in terms of susceptibility and lack of coping and adaptation capacities. Another finding shows that economic growth is not correlated with resilience to climate change, where economic growth does not automatically reduce vulnerability but only economic growth followed by appropriate policies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Employee engagement (X1), Social Environment (X2), and Motivation (X3) on Employee Performance (Y). The total number of respondents was 53 respondents. The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results show that employee engagement positively and significantly affects employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 1.362. In contrast, motivation has a regression coefficient of 0.453 and a positive and significant effect. However, the Social Environment has a negative effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of -0.200. In addition, the interaction between employee engagement and motivation showed a more significant effect, indicating that combining these factors effectively improves performance. The study also found that social environment had a negative influence. Among the three independent variables consisting of employee engagement (X1), social environment (X2), and motivation (X3), the dominant influence on employee performance (Y) is Motivation (X2) because the highest t-count value is 1,362. Another result is that employee engagement (X1), social environment (X2), and motivation (X3) can explain the employee performance variable (Y) by 43.7%, while the rest explains other variables not examined in this research by 56.3%. The implication of this study is the importance of integrating comprehensive programs to improve employee engagement and work motivation enhancement strategies to improve overall employee performance.

Abstract

The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Indonesia is undergoing a transformative shift with the implementation of the BerAKHLAK core values—Berkualitas (Quality), Akuntabel (Accountability), Harmonis (Harmonious), Loyal, Adaptif (Adaptive), and Kolaboratif (Collaborative). Launched in 2021, BerAKHLAK aims to enhance professionalism, accountability, and service quality in public administration. However, research on its localized implementation in complex administrative settings like East Java remains limited. This study evaluates the implementation and impact of BerAKHLAK on the professionalism and performance of ASN in East Java, with a focus on internalization processes, challenges, and outcomes. The research employed a qualitative case study approach, gathering data from 30 diverse participants, including ASN personnel, supervisors, and service recipients. Data collection methods included semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document reviews. Thematic analysis was conducted within the framework of organizational culture theory and performance management models. The study identified structured implementation strategies such as monthly workshops, mentoring programs, and performance dashboards. Leadership played a critical role in fostering a values-driven culture. Key challenges included resistance from older employees, inconsistent leadership commitment, and limited digital infrastructure. Despite these barriers, BerAKHLAK significantly improved service quality, interdepartmental collaboration, and public satisfaction. The findings highlight the transformative potential of BerAKHLAK in fostering ethical governance and professionalism. However, strategic leadership, adaptive training, and technological investment are necessary to address challenges and sustain its impact.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Digitalization, Management Information Systems (MIS), Service Quality, and Operational Efficiency on HR Performance at Bunda Sarini Primary Clinic in Banyuwangi. Using a quantitative research design, the study collected data through structured surveys and analyzed it using multiple regression analysis. The results indicate a strong correlation (R = 0.805) between the independent variables and HR Performance, with 64.8% of the variance (R² = 0.648) explained by these factors. The F-test (F = 15.872, Sig. = 0.000) confirms that these variables collectively exert a statistically significant impact on HR Performance. Among them, Service Quality (β = 0.389, t = 4.321, Sig. = 0.000) demonstrates the most substantial effect. The study underscores the necessity of improving service quality, advancing digitalization, and strengthening operational efficiency to enhance workforce productivity. Future research should incorporate employee engagement, leadership styles, and workplace culture to gain a more comprehensive perspective on HR Performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the impact of work-life balance strategies on employee productivity and organizational well-being at Sekolah Luar Biasa Erha Pabelan. As work environments become increasingly flexible with the rise of remote and hybrid work models, it is essential to understand how these strategies influence both individual and organizational outcomes. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with the principal, teachers and educational staff at Sekolah Luar Biasa Erha Pabelan. The data collected were analyzed through thematic analysis, identifying key themes related to flexible working arrangements, managerial support, wellness programs, and barriers to effective implementation. The findings reveal that flexible working hours and remote work options significantly enhance employee productivity and satisfaction, while supportive workplace culture and wellness programs further contribute to well-being and organizational engagement. However, challenges such as limited awareness of policies, resistance from middle management, and resource constraints hinder the full potential of these initiatives. The study concludes that organizations must proactively address these barriers and continuously adapt their strategies to foster a sustainable work-life balance. Future research should investigate the effectiveness of personalized work-life balance solutions, the role of technology in managing boundaries, and cross-cultural differences in the implementation of these strategies.
