Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdaian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah membentuk kognisi pengelolah bisnis melalui peningkatan dynamic capability dan inovasi. Lebih lanjut, PKM ini berkontribusi kepada pihak pemerintah kabupaten sebagai stakeholders, untuk melakukan pembangunan parisiwata berkelanjutan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakuakan dengan pembelajaran praktis; pemberian materi, tanya-jawab, merumuskan strategi pengelolaan dan pengembangan, serta pelatihan dan simulasi praktis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kognisi harus lebih ditingkatkan guna mendukung sumber daya manusia (SDM) dengan kelembagaan yang profesional dan kompeten. Dengan adanya kognisi, dynamic capability dan inovasi pengelolah bisnis dapat mengembangkan daya tarik wisatawan di Maluku.

Abstract

Abstract. The implementation of this Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve the ability of teachers to write scientific research articles. Furthermore, the articles are expected to be published in scientific journals. Through this PkM activity, teachers are expected to be able to, 1) have basic knowledge of the steps for compiling scientific articles on research results properly and correctly; 2) search for scientific journals in order to publish scientific articles; and 3) knowing how to publish scientific articles in several scientific journals at the IAIN Ambon Journal House. The training participants were 20 teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Ansor Ambon City with various educational backgrounds. The materials presented during the training were 1) tips and tricks for compiling scientific research articles, 2) strategies for selecting nationally accredited scientific journals that are in accordance with scientific articles, and 3) the stages of submitting scientific articles to scientific journals. This PkM activity is carried out through lectures, demonstrations, and interactive discussions. The results of the training obtained are 1) the teacher gains basic knowledge about the preparation of scientific research articles, 2) the teacher is able to find and adjust the target of the intended scientific journal according to the focus and scope of the article that has been made, and 3) the teacher is able to carry out the article submission stages on scientific journals at the IAIN Ambon Journal House. Referring to the results of this PkM activity, the school should be more intensive in carrying out training activities, so that teachers will increase their capacity in writing and publishing scientific articles. Keywords. writing and publishing, scientific research articles, teacher, open journal system (OJS)

Abstract

Desa pedalaman memiliki potensi menjadi desa wisata sebagai sarana promosi produk lokal dan peningkatan ekonomi pedesaan. Desa wisata yang dikembangkan yang memperhatikan konsep sustainable tourism akan bermanfaat bagi kelangsungannya masa kini, masa depan, terutama masyarakat sekitar dan wisatawan. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan pada 28 Juni – 2 Juli 2022 bersama 10 orang masyarakat adat Negeri Huaulu, Maluku Tengah. Tujuan pengabdian ini ialah untuk 1) Menganalisis kebutuhan menjadi desa wisata, 2) Menggali permasalahan masyarakat adat Negeri Huaulu dan hambatan menuju desa wisata. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 1) Raja dan tetua adat Negeri Huaulu menyambut baik bilamana menjadi desa wisata. Negeri Huaulu memiliki potensi tinggi menjadi desa wisata baik wisata sejarah, wisata alam, serta wisata budaya. 2) Permasalahan terkait a) Pengembangan SDM terutama peningkatan kompetensi dan keahlian yang masih minim. b) lokasi negeri huaulu belum terpetakan dengan baik, sehingga luas dan potensi alam belum diketahui c) Status kepercayaan menjadi permasalahan mendasar di negeri huaulu yakni sulitnya akses pendidikan bagi penganut kepercayaan baik pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi di perkotaan.

Abstract

Education for early childhood is one of the determinants in the management of education to get next level. This is the first step for the children to get an education before they continue to the Elementary school level. In this period, the children begin to receive education which was the beginning of the academic knowledge, such as reading, writing and arithmetic (CALISTUNG). English language is not mother tongue but English is the second language. English language is international language which used throughout the world. Through this community service activity, our team proposing chose one media of English vocabulary mastery namely by using flash card media. This media is very effective for the childhood because through by the picture they can easily to understand and memorize the vocabulary in English. Flash card is the media that very helpful in remembering and reviewing material such as foreign language, symbol, formulation and others. Through this activity, the students will be able to listen to what teacher say through the picture, write to what is the students hear and seen, and the students be able to memorize was has been written. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to mention the things around them in English language.Keywords: Training, Vocabulary, Flash car

Abstract

This study depicts the implementation of community engagement in the form of a research methodology writing workshop in the field of management. The workshop aims to provide an in-depth understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to participants. An interactive approach is utilized by presenting materials from two expert speakers in the field. The workshop comprises three sessions, with the first session discussing quantitative research methods, the second session addressing qualitative research methods, and the third session involving participants in creating a mini research project using one of the methods. The results indicate that the workshop successfully enhances participants' comprehension and skills in designing, conducting, and analyzing research in the field of management. The workshop offers an opportunity for participants to integrate theory with practice and develop critical and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, the workshop lays a robust foundation for the development of research competence and professionalism among participants in the business and management realm.Keywords: Management, Workshop, Research Methodology.

Abstract

This paper is a development of a report on community service activities carried out with the Muslim community in the village of Geser Seram Timur-Maluku. Through the approach of "Islamic Ecotheology," this paper wants to describe three things. First, the idea of an eco-theological vision in the coastal Muslim community is a contextual need that needs to be continuously emphasised to build awareness in the Muslim community that protecting and caring for the natural environment is part of a Muslim's theological duties. Second, through various forms of activities such as lectures, discussions, and film screenings about environmental damage and conservation efforts that can be carried out independently, the assisted subjects can participate in caring for the natural environment in their places. Third, eco-awareness will encourage sustainable initiatives in Muslim society as human beings who have been shown by the assisted subjects in the village to restore the natural environment as part of religious teachings, especially to protect mangrove forests, which have various functions for the balance of the ecosystem.Keywords: Islamic ecotheology, Muslim society, mangroves, East Seram-Maluku

Abstract

The PhET (Physics and Education Technology) virtual laboratory is an interactive medium of science with the help of computer applications that contains simulations of natural science experiments. The purpose of this activity is to increase the interest and motivation in learning science for elementary school (SD) students and to enrich the knowledge and skills of teachers and students in using science learning media through virtual PhET simulations. This activity was attended by 40 students using lecture methods, discussions, practical applications of PhET interactive simulations. Learning natural sciences using the PhET virtual laboratory was able to arouse students' interest and motivation in learning natural sciences.Keywords: Virtual Laboratory, PhET

Abstract

Since the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) attack, Indonesian consumer habits have rapidly developed into a different model than before, where people are now more accustomed to carrying out various types of activities such as studying, working, shopping and others only from home by utilizing various digital features so they don't have to go out of the house. The purpose of conducting this training and service is to increase the competence of novice entrepreneurs in creating e-commerce websites for novice entrepreneurs, especially in Jayapura City and also as an understanding and at the same time improving quality in the IT field for novice entrepreneurs, especially in Jayapura City. The method in this training and service uses four stages, namely: (1) preparation (2) coordination (3) training and (4) evaluation and strengthening. The results and achievements obtained are (1) training on creating and using e-commerce websites for novice entrepreneurs in Jayapura City is very important to convey because most trainees who are novice entrepreneurs admit that using e-commerce websites will really help them in carrying out their buying and selling activities in the future. (2) This training also improves technology mastery among novice entrepreneurs so that it can have a positive impact.Keywords : Training, E-Commerce

Abstract

ICT learning is learning that is being a great concern in the world of education today. This service aims to provide ICT-based learning training through Ispring Suite media for teachers at MIS, MTsS, and MAS Salman Al-Farisi Liang. The media created is media for learning evaluation. This service is carried out using training methods and workshops. This service consists of 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. After this service activity was carried out, the teacher was able to make evaluation media using the Ispring Suite media. Abstract

Effective learning leadership is a crucial factor in improving the quality of education in West Seram District. To encourage the growth of effective learning leadership, the headmaster's strategic role is needed in initiating innovation and facilitating the development of leadership competencies for teachers and education personnels. As part of the ‘Penggerak’ Schools program, the Balai Guru Penggerak (BGP) conducted headmaster leadership workshops. This workshop is a meeting between school supervisors facilitated by the Facilitator of the ‘Penggerak’ School within the West Seram district to discuss how headmasters as learning leaders are able to map and improve teacher competencies to realize liberating learning. This workshop involved the active participation of school principals as well as teachers from the Learning Committee Board (DKP). Activities in the workshop include discussions based on current issues in education, effective strategies for building an inclusive learning culture, and ways of managing resources to support best learning practices. In addition, the participants also shared their experiences and views on the challenges and opportunities that exist in West Seram Regency, enabling them to learn from each other and find collaborative solutions. The results of this workshop demonstrated an improvement in principals' understanding of the importance of student-focused learning leadership. The participants also improved their skills in developing action plans to address specific educational problems in their schools. In addition, the workshop also created a collaborative network between principals and related educational institutions, facilitating information exchange and ongoing support in efforts to improve the quality of education in the regency.Keywords: Leadership Workshops, Headmasters, ‘Penggerak’ Schools
