Abstract

ABSTRACT : Parents' involvement in their children's education is vital to their general well-being and academic achievement. Parents who play an active role in their children's education can nurture a love of learning, encourage effective learning techniques, and provide the support and tools their children need to succeed. Besides, healthy parent-child interactions can enhance communication and strengthen the sense of support and encouragement that exists in the home. This study explores the influence of the participation of millennial parents in children's education. Using literature-based qualitative research methods, the study analyzes various sources to understand how parental involvement can affect children's educational outcomes. The findings suggest that the active involvement of millennial parents, such as attending parent-teacher conferences, helping with homework, and regulating the use oftechnology, has a positive impact on children's digital literacy and academic achievement. Engaged parents can boost their child's learning motivation, confidence, and critical thinking skills. However, excessive involvement can create stress and anxiety. The study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between parents and teachers to create a supportive and productive educational environment, as well as recommendations to increase parents' involvement in children's education.

Abstract

Student bad behavior refers to behavior or actions that can cause problems, harm individuals or other people, and violate ethical and social standards. The purpose of this research is to determine the causes of naughty behavior in class IV Mi Babussalam students, and the types of mischief committed by class IV Mi Babussalam students. This research is qualitative in nature and involves the use of a case study model. This research was conducted at Mi Babussalam Pasongsongan Sumenep. This research focuses on student bad behavior (delinquency). Information collection includes interview notes, observation sheets, and documents. Data analysis is based on the Miles and Huberman model, with data collection as the main methodology for collecting information, presenting it as output, analyzing state-of-the-art data using quantitative methods, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was verified through source triangulation techniques. Research shows that student misbehavior includes behaviors such as fighting, teasing, and ignoring school policies. These bad actions are not only caused by the students themselves but can also be the result of the influence of their families or the surrounding environment, such as a poor environment, lack of attention from parents, and disharmony within the family. A common form of student bad behavior is causing the classroom environment to become chaotic or disorganized by using dirty words to manipulate their friends so that fights occur. To deal with student bad behavior, teachers and schools can use actions such as warnings, sanctions, and letters of agreement to students not to repeat this again. This is done with the aim of creating a deterrent effect that prevents bad behavior from occurring in the future. Preventing student misbehavior requires joint efforts between educators and families, as well as a review of school programs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development of students' interests and talents at MIN 1 Malang City through a qualitative approach, focusing on the methods used by teachers and the school environment to nurture students' potential. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the strategies and challenges faced in this process. The qualitative method was chosen to gain detailed insights into the experiences and perceptions of stakeholders in the education system at MIN 1 Malang City. The interviews revealed various factors influencing the development of students' interests and talents, including the availability of extracurricular activities, teacher support, parental involvement, and the school’s commitment to personalized education. Furthermore, challenges such as limited resources and time constraints were identified as obstacles to fully optimizing student potential. The study concludes that a collaborative approach involving teachers, parents, and the school management is essential in fostering student development, and that ongoing evaluation and adaptation of programs are necessary to address the evolving needs of students.

Abstract

The inquiry-based learning (IBL) model is an educational approach that places students at the center of the learning process, where they are actively involved in exploration, questioning, investigation, and discovering solutions to their problems. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of IBL in improving literacy and numeracy skills among elementary school students. Literacy encompasses the ability to read critically and understand information, while numeracy involves understanding mathematical concepts and skills in problem-solving. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, where data is obtained from various scientific articles, books, and relevant research reports. The study results show that IBL can enhance critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of literacy and numeracy concepts compared to conventional learning models. Although it has many advantages, implementing IBL faces challenges such as the need for more time and limited resources, especially in procuring experimental tools. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers receive special training and adequate resource support to optimize the implementation of IBL in elementary schools

Abstract

This 3D teaching aid is a three-dimensional replica of a solar eclipse, where students can see, touch, and even directly practice how the positions of the Earth, Sun, and Moon are during a solar eclipse.   The method used in this research is R&D with the 4D model. The purpose of this research is to develop a 3D solar eclipse teaching aid for IPAS learning in the 6th grade at MI Miftahul Huda Semboro and to increase students' interest in learning. This research uses data sources from classes and students. The data collection techniques used are Observation, Interviews, Documentation, and Questionnaires. The variables used for measurement include Media and Material. The results of this study show that the validation by material experts received a score of 47 out of a maximum score of 75, with a percentage of 85.45%, which falls into the valid category. Then, the results obtained from the media expert validators were 80 out of a maximum score of 85, with a percentage of 88.89%. For the students' responses, the results obtained were a score of 80, categorized as valid. The 3D solar eclipse teaching aid will make students active during lessons. Students who were initially always sleepy in class can become enthusiastic about learning. Students' attention, which was initially scattered, can finally be focused with this teaching aid, leading to improved grades during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

In fact, education does not only produce cognitively proficient students. However, it needs to be balanced with affective aspects to complement the life skills of students in the future. For this reason, this study reviews how the improvement of students’ spiritual intelligence can be obtained by learning tahfidz juz amma through the wahdah method, tasmi’ method, and muraja’ah method. Thus, increasing the spiritual intelligence of students in the form of planting noble morals that can be implemented in everyday life. So that in the future our education can produce knowledgeable people with noble morals based on the values of the Qur’an. This study aims to describe the improvement of students’ spiritual intelligence through the tahfidz juz amma program. In this study, a qualitative approach with descriptive research was applied. In the process of collecting data, researchers used observation methods and direct interviews with teachers and students. The results showed an increase in the spiritual intelligence of students after the implementation of tahfidz juz amma learning through the wahdah method, namely realizing that the ability gained is a gift from Allah which gives birth to an attitude of gratitude. With the tasmi’ method, students have an attitude of caring, cooperation, and honestly in interacting both at school and in the environment. While through the muraja’ah method has a patient and istikamah soul in repeating positive behavior such as reading the Qur’an.

Abstract

Alat peraga dalam pembelajaran IPA berfungsi sebagai media bantu untuk menjelaskan konsep IPA menggunakan objek nyata. Penggunaan alat peraga dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar IPA menjadi lebih efisien dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan alat peraga pada sistem peredaran darah dalam pembelajaran IPA bagi siswa kelas 5 di MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, obsevasi, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga sistem peredaran darah dalam proses belajar mengajar di MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, karena mereka mampu memahami konsep abstrak dalam materi sistem peredaran darah dengan lebih baik. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar penelitian selanjutnya mengembangkan alat peraga yang lebih interaktif dan efektif.

Abstract

The delay of students in completing the memorization of Juz 30 is something thatshould be considered, because it can potentially hinder the continuation of the student's memorization process and reduce the level of enthusiasm of students to continue the memorization caused by it. This study aims to determine what factors cause the delay, especially in the tahfidz class of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatul Ma'arif. With a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through interviews and direct observation. The results of the study showed that obstacles came from two sides, namely from within the students themselves and from their surroundings. From the internal side, students tend to be less consistent in repeating memorization, are not yet fluent in reading the Qur'an, and some are too ambitious to add to their memorization without strengthening what has beenmemorized. From the external side, lack of support from home, an unsupportive learning environment, peer influence, and excessive use of gadgets also slow down the memorization process. By understanding these various obstacles, it is hoped that all parties, both teachers, parents, and students themselves can be more sensitive and work together so that memorization of the Qur'an can run smoothly and enjoyably.

Abstract

Along with the development of the era characterized by changes in life in society,the social sensitivity of the community, especially among students at the elementary educationlevel, resulted in a decline in the social sensitivity of the community. In line with the mandate of learning in the form of competency achievement needed in the 21st century, it encourages changes in the learning process. Developing students' soft skills skills combined with CTL methods is expected to be able to answer problems that arise regarding social sensitivity among students, especially for V-grade students of Peditia Elementary School, Purwakarta Regency. The purpose of this study is that it is necessary to conduct research to measure students' level of social sensitivity through CTL learning methods. This study uses a quantitative approach in which data collection uses instruments in the form of Likert scales to measure the level of social sensitivity of students who have previously been given treatment using CTL methods in their learning process as well as observation and documentation data carried out during practice. and post-treatment, and interviews to obtain preliminary data as a description before research is conducted. The obtained instrument data are then analyzed using descriptive statistics. Because research has not been conducted and treatment has not been conducted, the data presented is preliminary data in the form of interviews and observations that have been conducted previously. The results of this study obtained a level ofsocial sensitivity in students before conducting CTL studies of 82% of grade VI students had a high level of social sensitivity and a level of social sensitivity and response after learning with CTL method 87% of grade V students had a level of social sensitivity It is a very high level and able to apply awareness of social sensitivity in everyday life.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL)-based StudentWorksheets (LKPD) for Science and Social Studies (IPAS) on natural phenomena topics for fifthgrade Islamic Elementary School (MI) students. Using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design,Development, Implementation, Evaluation) within a Research and Development (R&D) approach,the study involved 11 fifth-grade students at MI Miftahus Sa'adah Ngawi. Data were collectedthrough expert validation (content, design) and practitioner assessments, along with studentresponse questionnaires. The Results of developed LKPD met validity criteria with scores of: (1)86.6% from content experts, (2) 90% from design experts, and (3) 94.2% from practitioners (all"highly valid"). Product attractiveness scored 86.5% among students ("highly attractive"),particularly in visual appeal (92%). The LKPD effectively integrated seven CTL principles,especially in connecting materials to students' real-life contexts. This research provides acontextual teaching material development model aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, serving asa reference for meaningful IPAS instruction. Future research should expand testing with largersamples and develop LKPD variants for other IPAS topic
