Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dan tidak variatif dapat membuat minat belajar menjadi rendah dan berdampak pada menurunnya hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen serta sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 20 siswa dari kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa dari kelas kontrol. Siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas kontrol hanya mendapatkan perlakuan dengan model role playing. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu dilihat dari skor rata-rata pretest siswa sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 48,25. Kemudian terdapat peningkatan skor posttest siswa setelah mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) menjadi 80,50. Dan perhitungan persamaan regresinya yaitu γ ̂ = 49,102 + 0,466 X. Dari koefisien determinasi pada hasil analisis regresi kelas eksperimen, besar pengaruh model yang digunakan sebesar 71,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar PPKn siswa pada kelas ekperimen mengalami peningkatan setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Abstract

This research is based on the low student learning outcomes and student activities in Civics learning in elementary schools. This research applies the Team Games Tournament type cooperative learning model which aims to improve student learning outcomes and activities through learning which contains elements of tournament games. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method which consists of cycle I and cycle II with several stages starting from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The instruments used in this research were learning evaluation tests, observation of student activities, and interviews. The subjects in this research were class IV students at one of the West Jakarta elementary schools, totaling 30 students. Before implementing the TGT learning model, students obtained learning outcomes of 10%. When implementing the TGT learning model in cycle I, student activity achieved 65% and student learning outcomes achieved 57% with an average of 61.5. This has not achieved the expected target, so the second cycle was carried out with student activities getting 92% and student learning outcomes getting 83% with an average of 75. Based on this, it can be concluded that before implementing the TGT learning model there were still students who experienced understanding. which is low so improvements need to be made for good learning outcomes, then after implementing the TGT learning model, student activities and learning outcomes experience a much better improvement. So, learning by implementing the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can improve PPKn learning outcomes for grade IV students in elementary schools.   Keywords: cooperative learning model type Team Games Tournament (TGT), elementary education, learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low social skills of students in social studies learning, especially in relation to daily life. In social studies learning, students have difficulty applying Social Skills. The solution to fix it is to apply Role Playing learning. In order to anticipate this phenomenon, in this study, an approach social studies learning was applied, namely the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in improving students' Social Skills in social studies lessons. In learning that uses this contextual approach strategy, students are directed to think critically and act logically, creatively, innovatively and tolerantly and are able to build cooperation in their groups. The application of the contextual approach in this study is focused on the discovery of events experienced by students themselves as well as their use in solving problems around students in the context of daily life.This research is a Classroom Action Research. The cycle model consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of learning planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The instruments used consisted of interviews, observations, and individual test sheets. The conclusion obtained in this study is that in the initial condition of learning obtained an average score of 65.17, in the first cycle the average score of the pre-test was 67.58 and the post-test score of 87.24 increased by 22.07. In the second cycle, the average score of the pre-test was 87.58 and the post test 91 increased by 3.76. Overall, social studies learning with the application of a contextual approach has experienced a relatively significant increase in social skills both in the student learning process.   Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, role playing learning, social skills

Abstract

The achievement of science literacy in Indonesia is still low, based on the results of PISA in 2018 Indonesia ranks 75th out of 80 countries in the low category. Science literacy in science learning is expected that students can apply the knowledge they get at school to be used in everyday life so that students can have concern for the surrounding environment. Therefore, it takes a way of learning that can prepare students to have good learning competencies and science and technology literacy, able to think critically or problem solving, creative, communicate, and collaborate or 21st century skills. One approach that includes technology is the STEM approach. So the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of the STEM approach on improving the science literacy of elementary school students, as well as to determine and analyze the improvement of science literacy of elementary school students using the STEM approach better than students who get learning using a scientific approach. The research method used in the research is the experimental method with the type of quasi-experiment research. The research design used was nonequivalent control group design. The results of the STEM approach research findings have a significant effect on the science literacy skills of elementary school students, which is in the high category with an r square value of 0.823 or 82.3%. The improvement of science literacy skills that get learning with the STEM approach is better than students who get learning with a scientific approach. Learning with the STEM approach gets an N-Gain of 0.62 while scientific learning gets an N-Gain of 0.35, both of which fall into the medium category.   Keywords: elementary school students, science literacy, STEM approach

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang sangat serius, dimana mempengaruhi pertumbuhan fisik serta perkembangan otak pada anak-anak. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi cegah stunting pada anak dengan pemanfaatan TOGA kepada Masyarakat Desa Pulau Busuk Jaya, maka terjadi perubahan pandangan Masyarakat terkait gizi dan kesehatan anak-anak. Dampak penggunaan TOGA pada kesehatan gizi anak sangat terlihat, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nafsu makan anak yang menghasilkan perubahan yang positif dalam berat badan dan tinggi badan rata-rata mereka. Respons Masyarakat yang positif terlihat melalui tingginya tingkat partisipasi yang aktif selama kegiatan sosialisasi ini, yang mencakup banyaknya masyarakat yang hadir, interaksi Masyarakat kepada pemateri yang antusias, dan dukungan penuh selama proses pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi cegah stunting melalui TOGA. Tujuan sosialisasi ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada Masyarakat Desa Pulau Busuk Jaya mengenai pemanfaatan TOGA untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting pada anak serta mengubah pandangan Masyarakat agar lebih peduli terhadap gizi anak. Hasil kegiatan sosialisasi ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, pandangan dan status gizi anak-anak, serta mendapat dukungan positif dari Masyarakat Desa Pulau Busuk Jaya. Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a transitional phase connecting childhood and adulthood, requiring special attention and protection. During puberty, adolescents are vulnerable to issues related to reproductive health. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bantaeng. Method: The research employed a Quasi-Experimental Pretest-Posttest One Group Design. The population consisted of all second-year female students of SMP Negeri 1 Bantaeng, totaling 67 individuals. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling, where the entire population served as the sample, analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. Results: The results showed that among the 67 participants, before being provided with gender-equity-based reproductive health education, 21 students (31.3%) had good knowledge, and 46 students (68.7%) had poor knowledge. After the education, 53 students (79.1%) had good knowledge, and 14 students (20.9%) had poor knowledge. Regarding self-efficacy, before the education, 18 students (26.9%) had high self-efficacy, while 49 students (73.1%) had low self-efficacy. After the education, 44 students (65.7%) had high self-efficacy, and 23 students (34.3%) had low self-efficacy. Conclusion: The findings indicate that gender-equity-based reproductive health education positively influences the improvement of knowledge and sexual self-efficacy among adolescents at SMP Negeri 1 Bantaeng

Abstract

This study was motivated by observations showing low interest and activeness of students in participating in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, which has implications for the achievement of learning objectives that are not optimal. This study explores the strategies Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to improve student learning activeness in Elementary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method—data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research participants consisted of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, principals, and homeroom teachers at the school. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively to understand the strategies applied by teachers in planning and implementing learning and the factors that influence its success. The study results showed that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers used various innovative and creative learning strategies to improve student learning activeness, such as discussion methods, group work, and interactive learning media. In addition, this study identified factors that influence the success of learning strategies, including active student involvement, support from the school environment, and teacher competence and creativity in teaching. This study provides theoretical contributions in the form of new knowledge and insights regarding Islamic Religious Education learning strategies in elementary schools and practical benefits for teachers, schools, and educational institutions to improve the quality of learning and student learning activity.

Abstract

This study focuses on measuring the level of knowledge of fourth grade students of SDN Teluk Dalam 3 about nutritious food. The background of this study is based on the importance of nutrition education from an early age to prevent nutritional problems such as stunting, especially in the South Kalimantan region which still shows a high prevalence of stunting.  This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire modified from the General Nutrition Knowledge Questionnaire (GNKQ) and adjusted to the level of understanding of elementary school children. The research sample was all 75 respondents of grade IV students. The results of the study showed that 36% of students had a level of knowledge in the Good category, 33% in the Moderate category, 19% in the Low category, 9% in the Very Good category, and 3% in the Very Low category. These findings indicate that although most students have quite good knowledge, there are still groups that need further educational intervention. The conclusion of this study is the importance of integrating nutrition materials into learning in elementary schools as a preventive step in improving nutritional literacy and children's health from an early age.

Abstract

The progress of the times is increasingly integrating technology to improve learning in schools. By implementing Anyflip-based E-modules, an application can enable the creation of digital learning materials in an interactive format, especially in social studies learning in elementary schools. With this research, the author uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study or literature research through sources. This research is prepared based on the principle of in-depth and detailed literature review but made simple so that readers can easily understand the essence of the application of online Anyflip-based social studies E-modules in elementary schools. The application of E-modules has great potential in implementing effective learning in primary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat siswa dalam olahraga di SMP Negeri 1 Loksado. Latar belakang penelitian ini terletak pada fakta bahwa antusiasme peserta didik terhadap kegiatan atletik yang merupakan bagian dari pelajaran pendidikan jasmani sangat rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan sampel 29 siswa dari kelas VII B. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan 44 pernyataan yang mencakup lima indikator ketertarikan: perhatian, ketertarikan, aktivitas, peran guru, dan alat dan fasilitas. Uji validitas menunjukkan seluruh item angket memenuhi syarat validitas, dan reliabilitasnya sangat tinggi dengan nilai Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,92. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa secara umum minat siswa tergolong tinggi, dengan skor tertinggi terdapat pada indikator perhatian (81%), diikuti oleh fasilitas (79%), ketertarikan (78%), peran guru (78%), dan aktivitas (72%). Meskipun demikian, aspek aktivitas perlu mendapatkan perhatian lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan peningkatan sarana pendukung untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik.
