Abstract

Relationships with God and others are the most important things in a Christian's life. However, in practice, many GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregations are not yet fully aware of or able to live up to this principle. They may be faithful in worship, but their relationship with God is only a formality, without deep appreciation. On the other hand, relationships with others are often characterized by conflict, prejudice, or lack of concern. This challenge is also exacerbated by the GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregation's lack of understanding of the importance of building a balanced spiritual life. The research method uses qualitative, observation-based research by looking at phenomena that occur and carrying out activities directly. Next, collect data through feedback observations. And finally, after the observation data is collected, it will be processed into writing. The results of the findings of this research show positive changes in the spiritual life of the GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregation, such as being more active in praying, attending worship services, and paying attention and helping each other.

Abstract

The GKSI Nazareth SP 5 congregation, which consists of various ages and social backgrounds, faces challenges in understanding and applying the true meaning of worship. Many congregations do not fully understand the essence of worship as a form of direct communication with God, but only carry it out as a routine ritual. With the increasing influence of technology and social media, priority for spiritual activities such as worship tends to decrease. The method used is qualitative by observing the phenomena that occur and continuing with data collection by taking notes, then conducting a literature search, journals, books and the Bible to support the research. Novelty lies in the church's approach to taking concrete steps to guide the congregation to understand the teachings of God's Word regarding worship. The findings show positive changes in the GKSI Nazareth SP 5 Congregation, explanations of guidance from God's Word and also explanations of the meaning of worship that the GKSI Nazareth SP 5 Congregation can apply in their lives. This positive change can be seen in the fact that they are willing to give up their time to come to worship together on Sundays and also to worship at home.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PkM) aims to improve the management system of the Binangun Pagerharjo Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo as well as an effort to increase Village Original Income (PADes). This activity includes training and mentoring that emphasizes the importance of understanding the needs and challenges faced by BUMDes and the surrounding community, The results of the PkM carried out show that the management of BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo is still simple but has plans for future improvements. BUMDes can be an example for other BUMdes. In terms of innovation and development, BUMDes can be a source of village income. The management and strategies offered as a result of PkM are more about BUMDes management, namely operational systems and marketing digitalization, to strengthen the management system for BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo.

Abstract

orship is at the core of the Christian spiritual life, not only as an act of reverence to God but also as a means to deepen one's spiritual relationship with Him. However, in reality, many congregants experience a decline in interest and consistency in worship. This phenomenon is also observed at GKSI Agape Bajong, where, despite the church's growth, the understanding of the true meaning of worship still needs to be improved. One approach to address this issue is through the discipleship method. Through discipleship, the church can help the congregation gain a deeper understanding of worship and awaken their spiritual awareness. This approach emphasizes the deepening of faith and personal transformation based on the example of Christ. This study aims to explain how the discipleship method can be applied at GKSI Agape Bajong as an effort to cultivate the spiritual awareness of the congregation and enhance their participation in worship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of online gambling and drug abuse on the economy of the community in Beratkulon Village, Kemlagi District. The method used in this research involves socialization and discussions with local residents to gather data and information regarding the issues faced. The results indicate that online gambling and drug abuse not only lead to financial losses for individuals but also trigger family conflicts, accumulation of debt, and loss of community productivity. Furthermore, the lack of education about the dangers of drugs and weak supervision are contributing factors to the increasing cases of abuse. This research recommends the need for enhanced community awareness through more intensive educational and socialization programs, as well as strengthening the role of media in disseminating positive messages to prevent drug.

Abstract

Community Service activities by the Yehezkiel group targeting Catholic students at SDI Lamanabi through religious character development activities need to be conducted in this digital era.This is important because students are trapped in the digital era and live far from religious activities, such as being less involved in spiritual activities, having an indifferent attitude, being lazy in studying, lacking discipline, not participating in prayers and youth activities, and showing a lack of politeness in social interactions. This activity aims to enhance the character of students at SDI Lamanabi, Paroki Waiklibang in the digital era through religious character education development activities. The method used in this community service activity is a training method through the provision of materials, question and answer sessions, and participation. This activity was conducted on November 15-17, 2024. The result of this activity is the awareness among the students at SDI Lamanabi-Tanjung Bunga to embody religious values or character in their lives amidst the advancement of digital technology. The result of this service certainly makes the students at SDI Lamanabi engage in religious activities to enhance their religious character in the digital era.

Abstract

This service to the Pringgolayan Catholic community aims to renew their understanding of the liturgy (especially the eucharist). The main focus of the reform is the liturgical system according to the General Guidelines for the Roman Missal. Through observations that took place from January 2024 to June 2024, the population identified a gap between the knowledge, understanding and liturgical practices of Pringgolayan Catholics. Some people do not even understand the liturgical movements they perform while participating in the liturgical celebration. This service is carried out by combining dialogic lectures, questions and answers, and observations of the course of the event. The results of this activity consist of liturgical catechesis content on TikTok Komsos Pringgolayan and increasing people's understanding of the liturgy. This increase can be seen in the quality of question and answer discussions and the number of uses of technical liturgical terms in subsequent liturgical celebrations. The commitment and consistent presence of the participants is one of the challenges for this activity considering that it takes place every Sunday at 9.00 - 10.30 WIB, from August 2024 - November 2024. On the next occasion, this activity can be carried out again with a time setting that takes up less time

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the understanding and application of Pancasila values, especially the fifth principle, in promoting social justice for employees. Through a series of socialization and discussion activities, this program focuses on employee awareness of the importance of social justice in the work environment. The results of this activity show an increase in employee understanding of the application of Pancasila values ​​in work relationships, which is expected to create a fairer and more harmonious work atmosphere. Abstract

Elderly health checks are an important part of efforts to maintain quality of life and prevent degenerative diseases that often occur in old age. This program is implemented at Posyandu Mawar, Pajang, Surakarta, with the aim of detecting early health conditions of the elderly and providing education related to healthy lifestyles. The activities include checking blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index (BMI), and health consultations aimed at maintaining the overall physical condition of the elderly. The results of the examination showed that most of the elderly who participated in this program experienced mild to moderate hypertension and increased blood sugar levels. This program also succeeded in increasing elderly awareness of the importance of routine health checks and healthy lifestyle changes, including more regular diet and physical activity. As a preventive measure, periodic health checks at Posyandu are expected to reduce the risk of degenerative diseases and improve the overall quality of life of the elderly. Therefore, this health check program needs to be continuously supported and implemented sustainably
