Abstract

The existence of a library as a source of information and learning center must be optimized. Quick access to information and accuracy are the main strengths of a library in serving millennial users. Conventional library services that are rigid must be changed. The demand for instant, precise access to information and the availability of applied facilities will represent the information service system served by the library. Libraries must provide technological devices that allow users to easily surf for information via the internet. It is time for libraries to start changing the atmosphere of the library so that it becomes a learning center for its community. Providing wholehearted service is the main key for librarians in providing services to users. This is what is always expected and longed for by users in the millennial era. The task of the library is to create a millennial generation that is smart in responding to any changes that will and continue to occur. This task will be one of the big tasks for librarians to always be quick to present and precise in providing information for every service for them. The characteristics of millennial users need to be understood by libraries with varied services that can support millennial generation activities.

Abstract

Di dunia pendidikan segala sub sistem dan unsur-unsur yang berkaitan dengan segala proses belajar mengajar sangatlah dibutuhkan guna untuk mewujudkan keberhasilan dari tujuan pembelajaran. Faktanya untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran perlu adanya pendayagunaan dan pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana agar tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan tercapai secara optimal. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah manajemen sarana dan prasarana memiliki pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP Al Faruqi Kampar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun sumber data primer untuk penelitian ini yaitu guru bahasa arab di SMP Al Faruqi Kampar dan sumber data sekunder untuk penelitian ini yaitu buku-buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan manajemen sarana dan prasarana dan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dengan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa khususnya pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP Al-Faruqi Kampar, Pekanbaru, Riau.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah hal yang sangat krusial dalam kehidupan seseorang. Dengan adanya pendidikan seseorang dapat terus mengalami perubahan baik secara kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Pada pergantian kurikulum, SMPN 1 Singkep dalam penerapannya kurikulum yang membuat guru dan peserta didiknya harus lebih berperan aktif melakukan penyesuaian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis, Penelitian dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Singkep. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga metode seperti observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian validasi data menggunakan triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu: Reduksi Data, Display Data, dan Verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kurikulum dikembangkan harus memperhatikan kepentingan nasional, khususnya setiap daerah yang berbeda dari segi sosial dan budayanya, sehingga lebih optimal bagi peserta didik. Persiapan yang dilakukan dalam mempersiapkan SMPN 1 Singkep dalam kurikulum Merdeka adalah: Mengikuti pelatihan kurikulum merdeka melalui platform merdeka belajar, dari balai pelatihan guru maupun dari balai guru penggerak. Adapun Hambatan yang dijumpai saat pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka adalah masih adanya siswa pasif yang belum bisa terlalu berbaur dengan siswa lain dalam penerapan kegiatan–kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran yang terapkan oleh guru, sehingga berbagai assesmen dan teori penerapan masih yang belum terlaksana dengan maksimal

Abstract

The success of a school in carrying out a quality educational process is often identified with good teacher professionalism in managing existing learning, one of the efforts made is to practice motherly leadership. Mothery Leadership is a leadership practice carried out by women based on their character as a mother. The type of research used is qualitative phenomenology. Data collection using phenomenological research was obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the practice of motherly leadership in strengthening teacher professionalism at SD Muhammadiyah Bumiayu divided into five discussions, first, the views of principals and teachers towards professionalism which concluded that principals and teachers must certainly have a positive view of teacher professionalism. Second, the discussion of excellent service to teachers, namely the services provided by principals to teachers so that they can work well and optimally. Third, the discussion of making and implementing rules related to teacher professionalism. Fourth, guiding and providing examples so that teachers are professional. And the fifth is following up on any criticism and suggestions related to teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Title Evaluation of learning results is an important part of the educational process. In the context of Islamic education, evaluation not only aims to measure learning achievement but also has a spiritual dimension as reflected in the concept of muhasabah. This study aims to identify and analyze the techniques and instruments used in the process of evaluating psychomotor learning outcomes. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various reference sources such as journals, books, and scientific articles. The results showed that the evaluation of psychomotor learning outcomes can be done through several measurement techniques, such as checklist, event record, and range scale. The skill aspect can be assessed in four ways: (1) performance/practice, (2) project, (3) product, and (4) portfolio. In its implementation, scoring can be done using a rating scale with a certain range that is adjusted to the ability indicators being measured. It can be concluded that the evaluation of psychomotor learning outcomes requires different techniques and instruments from the evaluation of the cognitive and affective domains, with an emphasis on measuring the skills and ability to act of students after receiving certain learning experiences.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a strategy for using effective evaluation techniques and instruments to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes through a library research approach. The main problem identified was the mismatch between theoretically designed evaluation instruments and their application in diverse educational environments. This study analyzes various evaluation models and methods, and evaluates the effectiveness of their use in cognitive measurement. The research results show that the application of evidence-based evaluation techniques and innovative approaches can increase accuracy in assessing students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine library management as alearning resource center at SD Negeri 012 Singkep Barat and todetermine the factors that influence library management as alearning resource center at SD Negeri 012 Singkep Barat. Themethod used is a qualitative method with a phenomenologicalapproach. The research subjects were the principal and 2 teachersof SD Negeri 012 Singkep Barat. The object of research is librarymanagement as a learning resource center. Data collectiontechniques through interviews, observation, and documentation.The data analysis technique used is data reduction, datapresentation and conclusion. The results showed that librarymanagement at SD Negeri 012 Singkep Barat was not optimal. Oneof the inhibiting factors is the lack of budget and human resources(library staff) and the principle of library management as alearning resource center, of the 4 principles of PSB management,there are 3 principles that have been running well, namely theprinciples of information system management, productionmanagement, and management principles. While the principle ofservice management needs to be improved so that activities in thelibrary can run optimally. With good library management, theactivities in the library will run smoothly in accordance with themanagement functions and principles of library management as alearning resource center.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success strategies of NewStudent Admissions (PPDB) at SMA Negeri 1 Singkep is attractingprospective students. It employs a qualitative approach with a casestudy method. Data were collected through observation, interviews,and documentation involving the principal, PPDB committee,students, and parents. The findings reveal that the school implementspromotional strategies through social media, printed media, anddirect outreach to junior high schools. The school highlights itsacademic and non-academic programs, extracurricular activities,and improvements in facilities and teaching quality. Factorsinfluencing student interest include the school’s reputation,environmental motivation, strategic location, and affordableeducation costs. The school also provides support such astransportation subsidies and tuition waivers for underprivilegedstudents. The success of these strategies is evidenced by theincreasing number of applicants each year. Despite challenges suchas limited public understanding of online registration systems, theschool addresses them through technical assistance and localservice posts. This research serves as a reference for other schoolsin developing effective, efficient, and inclusive educationalmarketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of classroommanagement on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students atSMP Negeri 1 Singkep Pesisir. Effective classroom management isexpected to create a conducive learning environment that canenhance students' motivation. The research method used isquantitative, employing the Product Moment correlation formulawith a total of 48 respondents.Data collection techniques werecarried out through questionnaires measuring aspects of classroommanagement and learning motivation. The analysis results indicatea significant positive relationship between classroom managementand student learning motivation, with a correlation coefficient of0.709. The significance value is less than 0.05, indicating acorrelation, while Pearson's correlation ranges from 0.060 to0.799, reflecting a strong relationship between the two variables.Good classroom management practices, such as classroomarrangement, interaction management, and the implementation ofclear rules, can enhance students' learning motivation. Therefore,it is recommended that teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Singkep Pesisirpay more attention to these aspects of classroom management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of parentalinvolvement on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students atSMP Negeri 1 Singkep Pesisir. The research method used isquantitative, employing Product Moment analysis. Data werecollected through questionnaires distributed to 48 students and 48parents at SMPN 1 Singkep Pesisir. The object of this research isstudents' learning motivation. Data analysis methods includevalidity testing, reliability testing, and correlation analysis. Theresults indicate a significant influence between parentalinvolvement and students' learning motivation. The ProductMoment correlation value between variable X (parentalinvolvement) and variable Y (students' learning motivation) is0.739. This reflects a strong degree of influence, as the PearsonCorrelation falls within the range of 0.60–0.799. Therefore, theresearch hypothesis is accepted, and it can be concluded thatparental involvement significantly enhances the learningmotivation of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 SingkepPesisir. This suggests that parental support helps students feelmore motivated in their studies.
