Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a modeling training program in optimizing the talent potential of elementary school students at Rossy’s Entertainment. The background of this study is based on the importance of developing non-academic talents as part of fostering character, self-confidence, and social skills in children from an early age. The study employs a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with trainers and students, and documentation of training activities. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the modeling training program was implemented systematically through stages covering an introduction to the basics of modeling, training in catwalk techniques and facial expressions, as well as mental strengthening and building self-confidence. This program has proven effective in optimizing children’s potential, particularly in terms of self-confidence, communication skills, and self-expression. Furthermore, the role of professional trainers and a supportive training environment were key factors contributing to the program’s success. These findings confirm that modeling training can serve as an alternative strategy for the holistic development of children’s talents. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a reference for nonformal educational institutions in designing innovative and sustainable programs for the development of children’s talents.

Abstract

This study examined how entrepreneurial orientation, internal capabilities, and business environment influence MSME operational sustainability through organizational resilience. Using a quantitative, explanatory, cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 331 owners or managers of traditional weaving MSMEs in Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling to test direct and indirect relationships among the study constructs. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation and internal capabilities did not have significant direct effects on operational sustainability. However, both variables had significant positive effects on organizational resilience, which in turn significantly enhanced operational sustainability. The business environment had the strongest effect in the model, exerting both a significant direct effect on operational sustainability and an indirect effect through organizational resilience. These findings indicate that organizational resilience functions as the key mediating capability through which strategic posture and internal strengths are translated into sustained business operations. The study extends MSME sustainability research by moving beyond direct-effect explanations and demonstrating the importance of resilience as an organizational mechanism. Practically, the findings suggest that resilience-oriented interventions, combined with improvements in external business conditions, are essential for strengthening the viability of culturally embedded and structurally constrained MSMEs in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in fostering students’ critical thinking skills. This study investigates the effect of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall in science education at an elementary school. A quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach was employed, involving 14 students (N = 14). Research instruments included a validated and reliable multiple-choice achievement test, observation sheets of learning activities, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using normality tests, N-gain, and paired t-tests with SPSS 21. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with mastery increasing from 35.71% (5 students) to 92.85% (13 students). The paired t-test produced a t-value of 9.165 with a significance level of p = 0.00006 (< 0.05), indicating a highly significant difference before and after the intervention. These results suggest that the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall is effective in enhancing science learning achievement and holds potential for application across other subjects and learning contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model on student motivation in mathematics. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 61 students divided into two groups: 33 in the experimental class taught using Numbered Heads Together and 28 in the control class taught with conventional methods. The sample was determined through cluster sampling. A mathematics learning motivation questionnaire served as the research instrument, tested for validity and reliability with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.915. Questionnaire scores were converted into interval scales using the Method of Successive Interval. Prerequisite analysis confirmed no significant differences in population data, with the Kruskal–Wallis test yielding p = 0.997 (> 0.05). Hypothesis testing using the independent t-test revealed a significant difference in learning motivation between the two groups (p = 0.002 < 0.05). The findings demonstrate that students taught with the Numbered Heads Together model exhibited higher motivation in mathematics compared to those taught conventionally. The strength of this model lies in fostering individual responsibility while promoting positive peer interaction, which directly enhances student motivation in mathematics.

Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesian government policies on improving national education quality and their implications for the advancement of Islamic education. Over the past two decades, education quality has become a central issue in the national education system, particularly following the implementation of the National Education Standards, the Education Quality Assurance System, teacher certification, the Teacher Professional Education program, and the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka initiative. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach, this study examines regulatory documents, ministry reports, books, and scholarly articles published between 2019 and 2025. The findings indicate that government policies have significantly strengthened Islamic education in both public schools and madrasahs. Curriculum reform, teacher professional development, and madrasah digitalization are identified as key drivers of progress. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including regional disparities in quality, limited human resources, and uneven institutional capacities. Therefore, synergy between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the Ministry of Religious Affairs is essential to establish an integrated quality assurance system that aligns with Islamic values and supports sustainable educational advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the mudharabah contract in Idulfitri savings products offered by Islamic financial institutions. The analysis covers the conformity with sharia principles, operational practices, transparency in fund management, and the level of customer understanding. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies with informants consisting of managers, product administrators, sharia supervisory board members, staff, and customers. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is examined through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal the existence of a hybrid mudharabah practice characterized by stabilized profit-sharing, the predominance of consumptive-religious motives among customers, and an asymmetry of understanding between managers and customers. These conditions reflect an adaptation between sharia principles and the practical needs of society. The contribution of this study is the development of an integrative evaluation model based on transparency, Islamic financial literacy, and strengthened institutional communication to enhance the effectiveness of sharia financial practices at the micro level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the shift in da’wah values within Musabaqah Syarh Alquran and to redefine its role as a medium for conveying Quranic messages. Ideally, syarh Quran should not only be regarded as a competition branch within Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran but also as a da’wah art that integrates rhetoric, linguistic aesthetics, and comprehension of Quranic content. This research employs a qualitative method with a tafsir-based approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with judges and participants at provincial and national levels, supported by observation, documentation, and literature review. Content analysis was applied to identify meaning patterns from field findings and relevant sources. The results reveal a shift in orientation from da’wah to competition, prizes, and self-expression. Nevertheless, this transformation has not eliminated its da’wah function, as syarh Quran still holds significant potential in promoting Quranic values. The study highlights the importance of strengthening coaching, establishing standardized assessment criteria, and internalizing social, religious, and cultural values in the practice of syarh Quran.
