<![CDATA[This study aimed at describing the types and functions of Balinese proverb contained in the reflection of pupulan satua Bali Anyar "Begal" by IDK Raka Kusuma. Data collection was carried out using document study and interview techniques. Then the data collected was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman analysis models. The results of this study indicated that there were three types of Balinese proverbs used in the text, namely sesawangan, sesonggan and papindan. While the function of Balinese proverb in the text, among others, was to describe the situation, as a satire and as a compliment.Keyword: proverb, Pupulan satua Bali Anyar "Begal"]]>

<![CDATA[Kritik Satra Feminis Pupulan Cerpen Luh Jalir by Mas Ruscita Dewi aims to analyze gender issues in a short story collection book entitled Luh Jalir. The problems discussed are about gender stereotypes, violence, exploitation and the double burden of women which are the research studies of feminist literary criticism. This specific approach is used in an effort to reveal forms of gender injustice towards women. The method used in this research is qualitative which is described descriptively. The results of this study indicate the existence of gender stereotypes, violence, exploitation and the double burden of women in the short stories collection of Luh Jalir by Mas Ruscitadewi.Keyword: gender stereotype, violence, exploitation, double burden]]>

<![CDATA[Kajian ini membahas tentang fenomena sintagmatik dan paradigmatik dalam Bahasa Bali. Kajian ini menitikberatkan pada relasi sintagmatik dan paradigmatik dalam Bahasa Bali. Kajian sintagmatik dan paradigmatik merupakan salah satu bagian dari pemikiran linguistik struktural. Teori struktural mulai muncul dan berkembang pada tahun 1916, yang diprakarsai oleh tokoh strukturalis Ferdinand de Saussure. Pikiran-pikiran pokok de Saussure berkaitan dengan signifiant dan signifie, langue dan parole, telaah sinkronis dan diakronis, serta telaah sintagmatik dan paradigmatik. Pada aspek relasi sintagmatik dan paradigmatik dianalisis satuan-satuan bahasa pada tataran fonologi, morfologi, dan sintaksis. Gagasan (notion) sintagmatik dan paradigmatik yang ditautkan dengan unsur-unsur atau satuan lingual kebahasaan dapat dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu relasi sintagmatik dan relasi paradigmatik. Relasi sintagmatik adalah relasi makna (semantik) secara horizontal sedangkan relasi paradigmatik adalah relasi bentuk atau relasi vertikal. Dengan pengertian bahwa hubungan sintagmatik adalah hubungan in presentia (horizontal) dan hubungan in absentia yaitu hubungan vertikal.Kata kunci: sintagmatik, paradigmatik, bahasa bali, linguistik struktural.]]>

<![CDATA[Education in kindergarten is basically simple and concrete learning and children will get direct experience. Group B children in kindergarten aged 5-6 years have a very strong curiosity, so the learning outcomes they get need to be developed optimally in order to develop in a positive direction. One of the early childhood development that affects learning outcomes is language development activities. Every early childhood life, always have difficulty with the language they use. Because every language that comes out of their mouth, not necessarily they will understand the meaning. Especially in kindergarten, this simple language learning has a positive effect on children's cognitive development. This research is clarified as correlational research. The population of this study were all students in group B whose ages ranged from 5 to 6 years with a total of 30 children. The data source comes from primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used was chi-square analysis. The results of the Chi-square data analysis showed the data results of 9.22. Thus the null hypothesis is rejected and the working hypothesis is accepted, which means there is an effect of simple language on cognitive development in early childhood group B TK Dama Kumara. If seen from the significant value of 5 percent (3.84), while the analysis value is 9.22, it can be believed that the influence of learning with cognitive abilities is strong. Thus it can be concluded that the development of simple language (speaking) on cognitive learning outcomes (hearing) greatly influences the cognitive development of children at TK Dama Kumara.Keywords: Simple language, Cognitive.]]>

<![CDATA[Dharma Wiweka Middle School Denpasar is a Junior High School located in Denpasar. As an educational institution, Dharma Wiweka Middle School Denpasar participated in implementing the Governor of Bali Province Regulation No. 80 of 2018 concerning the preservation of Balinese Script, Language and Literature and the implementation of the Balinese Language Month. This research method is descriptive qualitative with research results namely, the implementation of the Governor of Bali Province Regulation No. 80 of 2018 at SMP Dharma Wiweka Denpasar divided into four namely: A. Preservation of scripts by installing school name boards with a combination of Balinese script and Latin letters. Placement of Balinese script boards in each class as a means of student learning. B. Language preservation is carried out by using Balinese every Thursday, full moon and tilem which are carried out at the end of collective prayers, and the use of Balinese posters. C. Literature preservation is carried out with the availability of Balinese language literacy books and the availability of tembang extracurriculars. D. Balinese Language Month is held with various competitions, both participated by students and by teachers. <![CDATA[Tri Hita Karana is a Balinese philosophy that conceptualizes harmony between Man and God, Man with Man, and Man with the Environment. Hindu Education basically aims to grow, develop and improve sradha (faith) and bhakti (devotion) of students towards Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa through training, appreciation, and practice of Hindu teachings, so that they become Hindu people who are dharmika and able to realize the noble ideals of Moksartham Jagadita. This is very much in line with the objectives of National Education, as stated in the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003. <![CDATA[The text of Adi Parwa as the first part of the 18 parwa (Asta Dasa Parwa) is one of the parwa literature that is in great demand among observers of Old Javanese literature. How could it not be, the parwa contains various stories behind the occurrence of the Mahabhatara story (the Indian version of the term) which eventually led to a big war written on kakawin Bharathayudha. One part of Adi Parwa's story that is quite well known and is very thick with educational values is the story of Bhagawan Domya who has three students namely Sang Arunika, Sang Utamanyu, and Sang Weda. Each was given a very difficult task to test his loyalty and sincerity in studying Vedic science. There is one important note in the test which is oriented towards how a student is obliged to his teacher who is called "guru susrusa". The task given by Bhagawan Domya describes an initiative to strengthen a student's mental and spiritual pursuit of knowledge. To prove this, the loyalty of the three of them is tested in sacrifice, understanding the rights and obligations of a student, and the value of a teacher's gift. Today, this aspect is important to strengthen the position of teachers and students in shaping the quality of education and the outcomes of education itself.Keywords: Adi Parwa; Master Susrusa; Character building]]>

<![CDATA[Geguritan Nengah Jimbaran as a material object in this study is a traditional Balinese literary work written by Cokorda Mantuk Ring Rana. This study uses a qualitative approach that focuses on finding the meanings of religious moderation in the Geguritan Nengah Jimbaran text. The hermeneutic method is applied to understand and interpret the meaning and intention of Cokorda Mantuk Ring Rana in his writing. Based on the analysis carried out at Geguritan Nengah Jimbaran, it shows Balinese people are indeed dominated by Hindus but they have a great tolerance and are able to live harmoniously side by side among different faith during the reign of Cokorda Mantuk Ring Rana. It can be concluded that religious tolerance as one of the spirits of religious moderation has long been present and has become a habit of Balinese people today. <![CDATA[In the realm of sociolinguistics, the acquisition of language is one of the important stages in one's linguistic level. Determination of which language is a person's mother tongue is determined in this phase. After going through several advanced phases, one will know various other languages. After learning certain languages in his life, a person will find that there are languages that he does not understand or has never learned before. This language can then be referred to as a foreign language. Foreign languages are very crucial to comprehend according to needs and interests. Foreign languages do not only refer to languages from other countries, but also languages from other regions within a country that are not understood by certain speakers. <![CDATA[Geguritan Yadnya ring Kuruksetra is a literary work that has the tendency to be read continuously. This work not only tells how a mouse turns golden yellow, but the life stories of four brahmins are important to read in the midst of a large and lavish Hindu ceremony. Research on geguritan yadnya ring kuruksetra on this occasion was conducted to see the ideology that underlies it. Even though this work is classified as a short work of geguritan, when examined it has a very deep moral message. The ideology of geguritan yadnya ring kuruksetra is kalascaryan (sincerity).
