Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide insight into how to start a business independently. This activity uses a counseling method to increase the understanding and awareness of participants, as well as examples of how to start a business independently. The provision of counseling materials is carried out for one day during working hours. Participants in the community service at the Tahfizh Qur'an Yatim Nurani Insani Yogyakarta Islamic Boarding School were attended by 58 participants. The pre-test showed that the audience who knew about how to start a business was 17.24% and those who did not know about technology adaptation were 82.76%. The results of the post-test showed that the audience who knew about how to start a business was 89.66% and those who knew about technology adaptation were 93.1%. After participating in the community service activity, all participants are expected to have knowledge about how to start a business independently in order to open up employment opportunities.

Abstract

This community service aimed to raise environmental awareness and provide education to the residents of Batuliman Indah Village, Lampung Selatan Regency, through a training workshop on the ecoprint technique, an environmentally friendly method of printing natural motifs using natural dyes. The activity began with the preparation of materials, followed by an introduction to the theory and hands-on practice of ecoprinting techniques, which involved selecting leaves and flowers and applying them to fabric. The results of this activity indicated that participants successfully mastered the ecoprinting technique, producing a variety of aesthetically pleasing craft products with diverse motifs. The community exhibited high enthusiasm, developing additional products such as bags and cushion covers, and increased awareness about the use of natural materials in production. With these new skills, it is hoped that the community will adopt ecoprinting as a sustainable craft that positively impacts both the environment and the local economy

Abstract

Community service aims to provide education so that the public is wiser in choosing investments, avoiding the trap of fraudulent investments. The methods used are seminars and talk shows. The expected results include increasing public awareness of the dangers of fraudulent investments, reducing fraud cases, collaboration between the government and financial institutions, and consumer protection. Positive impacts on shared prosperity can be achieved through financial transparency and strict supervision, allowing the public to invest safely and confidently. This protects against financial losses and increases trust in the financial system, which contributes to economic stability and justice. In conclusion, financial transparency, socialization, and supervision are the three main pillars in protecting the public from fraudulent investments, ensuring a safe and trusted investment environment

Abstract

Community service activities aim to improve the capacity of students in the health sector in entrepreneurship. . The Community-Based Research (CBR) method is used to encourage active student participation, identify needs, and develop community-based solutions. During the activity, participants participated in socialization sessions, interactive discussions, and business idea development workshops. The results of the activities showed an increase in students' understanding and confidence in facing the challenges of entrepreneurship in the health sector. In addition, several student groups are committed to continuing the development of business ideas with support from the incubation program that will be provided by the institution. community

Abstract

This community service activity aims to convey information about community service programs that focus on preventing bullying among students at SDN 1 Pekon Balak. This socialization is designed as an educational effort to prevent students from becoming victims or perpetrators of bullying. The methods used in this activity include delivering material through lectures or socialization sessions. The output of this activity is an increase in students' understanding of the types of bullying, its causes, its impacts, and how to reduce bullying behavior. This activity also succeeded in encouraging students to develop self-control and practice positive habits in the family, school, and community environments.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency has become one of the worrying social problems, especially with the increase in cases of drug abuse and involvement in online gambling. This community service activity (PKM) aims to identify the effectiveness of socialization about the dangers of drugs and online gambling to members of the Youth Organization as a preventive effort in reducing juvenile delinquency. The method used is socialization through group discussions and the dissemination of educational materials. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and understanding of the risks and negative consequences of drugs and online gambling.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in RT. 07 RW. 01, Kebonsari Jambangan Village, Surabaya City, in utilizing the Shopee e-commerce platform to increase sales and competitiveness of their products. The training and mentoring methods are structured through lectures, demonstrations, and practice. The results of the community service activity are an increase in participants' understanding and skills in using the Shopee application. Participants are able to create and manage online stores, implement effective marketing strategies, and increase product sales and market reach. These findings indicate that structured training and mentoring in using e-commerce platforms such as Shopee can provide significant benefits for MSMEs by increasing their sales and market reach.

Abstract

This community service aims to teach how to read the Qur'an to TPA children in Telogo Rejo Village through the application of tajweed science. With a fun learning method, it is hoped that children can more easily understand and practice tajweed rules correctly, so that it will be easy to read the Qur'an properly. The lessons used are lectures, demonstrations, and reading exercises. The results showed a good improvement in children's ability to read the Quran after participating in this study. This shows that good and interesting tajweed learning can improve the way children read the Quran

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of tourism village managers (pokdarwis) regarding institutional management, tour package management, and tourism service management. The method of community service activities is carried out using lectures, tutorials, and discussions. The results of the implementation of this program show that the understanding and skills of partners regarding institutional management, tour package management, and tourism service management have increased. Thus, it is hoped that the existence of the Ngargogondo Tourism Village can continue to develop and continue to provide a positive impact on the surrounding community. In addition, with optimal management, it is hoped that this tourism village can support Borobudur Temple as a strategic national tourism area in Indonesia

Abstract

This community mentoring activity aims to provide mentoring to Warung Mama Ifit in an effort to increase sales volume and product innovation through the application of digital technology. The mentoring method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) Approach. The mentoring program, which was implemented from August 7 to September 30, 2024, includes the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the development of business identity, systematic financial recording, and expansion of market reach through consistent online promotions. The conclusion of this mentoring is that a strong business identity, mature business planning, systematic financial management, and effective marketing strategies can position Warung Mama Ifit to achieve greater success in the future and has the potential to become a model for other MSMEs to increase their competitiveness in the digital era
