Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of philosophical, theological, and sociological foundations in the implementation of quality service standards at SD IT Azizah Palembang and their implications for the quality of learning and educational services. The research employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that Islamic values such as amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), and itqan (professionalism and perfection in work) are systematically integrated into learning activities, school culture, and administrative services. From a theological perspective, the school’s vision and mission are realized through character building and the strengthening of students’ spiritual values, supported by strategic programs. Sociologically, the implementation of quality services contributes to higher parental satisfaction, increased public trust, and greater community participation. The application of Islamic values in both learning and administrative processes also enhances teacher performance, service efficiency, and institutional professionalism.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the welfare of rural communities through the development of local economic potential, focusing on innovation and increasing the added value of salak (snake fruit) as an export product. The method used was descriptive qualitative, derived from interviews and training. Secondary sources were obtained from scientific journals, books, and relevant documents, which were then described. The results of this community service program demonstrate an improvement in the quality of the snake date product. The processing of the salak dates involves several stages, and after additional fermentation and oven drying, the water content is reduced from 39.5 to 18.8. This low water content allows the salak dates product to be consumed longer and meets the 1996 Indonesian National Standard (SNI) limit of 35% for wet food products

Abstract

This study examined the influence of the principal's role, school climate, learning support, and entrepreneurship programs on the entrepreneurial interest of grade XII students at SMAN 2 Kepulauan Selayar. A quantitative ex post facto design was used with 141 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that all predictors had positive and significant effects on entrepreneurial interest. The principal's role had a significant effect (t = 2.573; p = 0.011), school climate had a significant effect (t = 2.899; p = 0.004), learning support had a significant effect (t = 2.859; p = 0.005), and entrepreneurship programs had a significant effect (t = 2.574; p = 0.011). The simultaneous test was significant (F = 17.990; p < 0.001). The model explained 34.6% of the variance in entrepreneurial interest. These findings indicate that entrepreneurial interest is strengthened by integrated managerial, social, pedagogical, and programmatic support within the school ecosystem.

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of the KWL (Know, Want to Know, Learned) learning model on students' learning activeness, interest, and motivation in IPAS learning at UPT SDN Padang No. 3 Kepulauan Selayar. A quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design was used with 30 fifth-grade students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires, pretest-posttest documentation, and analyzed using prerequisite tests and MANOVA. The experimental group showed higher mean scores than the control group in activeness (26.47 vs. 24.73), learning interest (106.40 vs. 86.80), motivation (108.93 vs. 89.20), and posttest achievement (86.73 vs. 75.87). MANOVA indicated a significant simultaneous effect of KWL on the three dependent variables (Wilks' Lambda = 0.064; F = 127.497; p < 0.001). Follow-up tests confirmed significant effects on activeness (F = 9.188; p = 0.005), interest (F = 216.865; p < 0.001), and motivation (F = 153.905; p < 0.001). KWL effectively improves students' active and affective learning engagement in IPAS

Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the principal in improving teacher professionalism and the quality of IPAS learning at SMKN 8 Kepulauan Selayar. The manuscript was developed from a qualitative case study proposal and preliminary school observation data. The planned study involved six informants: a school supervisor, the principal, the vice principal, and three IPAS teachers. Data collection was designed through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, focus group discussion, school document analysis, and documentation. Preliminary findings identified several core problems: 61% of teachers had not joined innovative learning or Kurikulum Merdeka training in the last two years, IPAS learning mastery remained at 65-68% below the school target of 80%, lecture-based learning still dominated classrooms, digital media use was limited, and the local island context had not been optimally used as learning resources. The analysis shows that the principal should function as an academic supervisor, professional development facilitator, motivator, and manager of professional learning communities. Further empirical data collection is required to strengthen the final findings.
