Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure refers to a condition where blood pressure in the blood vessel system continues to increase (World Health Organization, 2018). Gestational hypertension can have detrimental effects on the mother and fetus, and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease in the future. Women who have experienced preeclampsia or hypertension have higher health risks, including a 7- to 8-fold increased risk of death from coronary artery disease (Subki & et al, 2018). This study aims to investigate the correlation between factors that influence the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women in the area served by the Gununghalu Community Health Center. The research design used was case control, with a population of 1,473 people, where the sample consisted of pregnant women, including 63 of whom had hypertension. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square method and multiple logistic regression analysis to identify factors that influence the incidence of hypertension. The research results show that there is a relationship between sodium consumption and hypertension in pregnant women showing a significance value of 0.007, indicating that there is a significant correlation between stress and the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women with a p value of 0.028. However, no significant relationship was found between physical activity and the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women, with a p value of 0.084. Multivariate analysis shows that sodium consumption is a risk factor for hypertension in pregnant women (p=0.004). It is hoped that all pregnant women will always have a pregnancy check-up with a health worker to avoid risks during pregnancy.

Abstract

Coronary artery disease (CHD) is a condition caused by problems with the coronary arteries which cause narrowing and blockage, which can disrupt the body's energy transfer process and cause an imbalance between oxygen demand and oxygen supply. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and Healthy Behaviors on Coronary Heart Disease Risk Factors. This research method uses correlative analysis and a cross sectional approach. This research describes the relationship between a person's knowledge and lifestyle and the risk of coronary heart disease. The sample in this study consisted of 20 adults who were teachers at SDN 106 Aek Galoga. The selected subjects were interviewed using a research questionnaire. After conducting research, it can be concluded that 4 people (20.0%) had a good level of knowledge, 13 (65.0%) had a good level of knowledge, and 3 people (15.0%) had a poor level of knowledge. The results of the chi-square test show that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of the risk factors for Coronary Heart Disease with a p value of: 0.001. Based on the data we obtained from 20 respondents from SDN 106 Aek Galoga, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and Healthy Behaviors and risk factors for Coronary Heart Disease.

Abstract

Health issues are an aspect that always receives major attention both nationally and internationally. Currently, the Indonesian government is focusing on the BPJS Health program to achieve the UHC target of 98% in 2024. However, the number of participants recorded at the end of 2023 was 95.88% so it has not yet reached the UHC target. Apart from that, problems also emerged related to the BPJS Health budget deficit caused by participants who were in arrears and did not pay their BPJS Health contributions. Based on BPJS Health data, there was an increase in the number of BPJS participant arrears in August 2023 amounting to 15.73 million coming from the informal worker sector so in this case researchers are interested in analyzing the determinants that influence willingness to pay BPJS contributions in Indonesia. This research uses literature study methods sourced from Google Scholar, PubMed, Connected Paper, and Publish or Perish and several official health sites. This research shows that there are 10 determinants that influence WTP towards BPJS Health contributions, namely, education, knowledge, employment, income, perception, quality of health services. Payment facilities are difficult to access, expenditure on essential and non-essential food, number of family members, and history of illness. The most dominant determinant of WTP for BPJS Health contributions is the income of informal workers where the income earned per month is low or irregular so that informal workers prioritize meeting their daily needs rather than having to pay BPJS Health contributions.
