Abstract

Communication-based classrooms are an inclusive education approach that utilises augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technologies to support learners with special needs. The aim is to increase learners' participation, engagement and communication skills in the learning process, as well as to address their communication barriers. It also aims to develop digital literacy and social integration skills, creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. The study in this research uses the literature study method. The results show that: firstly, communication-based classrooms have benefits for improving learners' digital literacy skills, better social integration and emotional well-being. Secondly, this method can help overcome communication barriers often experienced by learners with special needs, giving them equal opportunities to reach their academic and social potential. Thirdly, there are challenges in implementing communication-based classrooms such as limited resources and budgets, lack of teacher training and skills, difficulties in integration with the current curriculum, and mixed attitudes and acceptance from learners, teachers and parents towards the use of technology in education. Overcoming these challenges requires a holistic approach that includes increased budgets, continuous training for teachers and socialisation to change negative views about technology in education.

Abstract

This observation aims to compare learning outcomes among students who apply the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) Model with those who learn through conventional means in elementary schools. The research method utilized the literature study method. The findings indicated that students who learned through the PjBL model generally achieved better learning outcomes in terms of critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills. The PjBL model also appeared to increase students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning as they were more engaged in relevant and interesting projects. In addition, PjBL facilitates the development of better social skills and teamwork through collaboration and interaction among students in project groups. Nevertheless, this study also found some challenges in implementing PjBL in primary schools, such as the need for more thorough preparation, longer implementation duration, and the need for special training for teachers. Therefore, in order to maximize learning outcomes, it is suggested that a wise mix of PjBL and conventional learning models is needed in accordance with educational objectives and students' needs.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an approach to learning that provides inclusion to all learners, regardless of their achievements, disabilities or backgrounds, in the same environment. It involves adjusting the curriculum, teaching methods and additional support to ensure that every student has a fair and equal opportunity to receive a quality education. The research method used in this study is literature review. The results show that first, an inclusive classroom environment requires teachers to implement learning approaches that can effectively meet the individual needs of each student. Through an initial evaluation of learners' abilities and needs, teachers can design an adaptive curriculum tailored to their limitations. Secondly, teachers also need to implement student excellence-based learning strategies, such as multisensory, modeling and tiered assignments. The success of these strategies relies heavily on collaboration between teachers, parents, and various experts such as educational psychologists and therapists. Open and continuous communication between all parties is essential to ensure the strategies implemented remain appropriate and effective. Thus, the implementation of appropriate strategies and strong cooperation can provide equal opportunities for learners with disabilities to succeed in their learning.

Abstract

The use of multimedia technology in teaching English has become one of the most powerful methods to improve students' vocabulary skills at the primary school level. The study conducted in this research uses the literature study method. The results show that multimedia can create a much more interesting and varied learning experience, which in turn facilitates the recall and comprehension of new English words. Through the dynamic interaction provided by multimedia, students can see and hear words in various contexts, which helps to enrich their understanding. Furthermore, the use of multimedia can accelerate the teaching-learning process and increase students' motivation to learn English. Multimedia content is often designed with interesting visual and audio elements and educational games that encourage learning. These features not only make learning more fun, but also create a positive competitive atmosphere, so that students become more actively involved in learning and experience faster vocabulary improvement. However, the successful utilisation of multimedia in English vocabulary learning requires effective integration by teachers and sufficient technological support. Appropriate teaching strategies, along with continuous evaluation of student progress, are key to optimising learning outcomes. Thus, multimedia serves not only as a teaching aid, but also as a core component that can enrich the learning experience and improve student achievement at the primary school level.

Abstract

Inclusive education has always been understood as an approach to learning about the differences and diversity of learners, providing equal opportunities for everyone to engage in the same learning process. The study in this research uses the literature search method. The findings of the investigation suggest that inclusive learning environments have a significant positive impact on students' social skills development. Among inclusive environments, students tend to show improvement in their ability to follow each other, cooperate and respect diversity. This not only helps in the formation of learners' individual character and values but also enhances their ability to adapt among diverse social situations. In addition, students' learning is positively influenced by an environment that supports the diversity of individual learning styles, enabling them to reach their full academic potential. This study recommends further integration of inclusive education principles in the primary school curriculum, including continuous teacher training and development of supportive resources, as a strategic step in strengthening socialization and learning processes. The implications are expected to help establish an educational ecosystem that is not only inclusive but also enriches students' learning experiences, encouraging them to become holistic, empathetic individuals who are ready to face global challenges.

The research method used in this study is a literature study. The results reveal that careful and systematic planning, teacher competency development, a comprehensive evaluation approach, and the involvement of parents and the community are the main factors in improving the quality of learning. Good and structured planning includes developing an adaptive and relevant curriculum, so that madrasahs can provide integrated and directed education to meet the needs of students and the demands of the times. Developing teachers' competencies through training and continuing education has proven to be very effective in improving teachers' teaching skills, which in turn improves academic quality and the development of students' Islamic values. A regular evaluation approach helps in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the learning process and outcomes, enabling the madrasah to make necessary adjustments and improvements. Finally, the involvement of parents and the community in the education process at the madrasah provides a comprehensive and integrated support for students, creating an inspiring and supportive learning environment.

Abstract

This research examines the strategies used by teachers in managing students' learning interest in the context of the Independent Curriculum through a review of relevant literature. The Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes flexibility and freedom of learning, requires teachers to apply innovative and adaptive approaches in order to motivate and optimize students' potential. Through analysis of various literature sources, this research identified three main effective strategies: (1) Differentiated Learning, which adapts learning activities to each student's abilities and learning style to ensure full engagement; (2) Professional Development, where teachers actively improve skills and knowledge through ongoing training and involvement in professional communities; and (3) Inclusive Learning Environments, which create classrooms that support diversity and facilitate the development of students' social and emotional skills. The conclusion of this research shows that the application of these strategies by teachers can significantly increase students' interest in learning, create a more dynamic learning environment, and support the achievement of better learning outcomes within the Independent Curriculum framework. These findings provide important insights for educational practitioners and policy makers in efforts to improve the quality of learning in an era of more independent and inclusive education.
