Jurnal Eksperimental merupakan media ilmiah pendidikan bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STI Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Selanjutnya, jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua versi, yaitu cetak dan online. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru SD/MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian. Reviewer akan meninjau setiap makalah yang dikirimkan ke redaksi jurnal eksperimental.

Abstract

School management is one of the factors that affect the education quality. This is because school management will influence and define the effectiveness of the curriculum, numerous learning tools, teaching time and the learning process. School management is the process of employing all school resources run through rational and systematic act (comprising; planning, organizing, actions and controlling) in order to reach school goals effectively and efficiently. Effective schools are under schools management which have characteristics: Supervisors, principals and teachers who have high attention to increase the quality of teaching, teachers who have high expectations to support student achievement, the climate of the school which is not firm, cool without pressure and conducive in the whole teaching process, the school has a wide understanding of the focus of teaching and struggles for the effectiveness of the school by using all school resources to achieve the goals completely, effective schools can guarantee the progress of students that are monitored periodically.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading skills by using the index card match method for second grade students at SDN 2 Tijue, Pidie District. The population in this study were all students of second grade at SDN 2 Tijue. The number of the students were 50 while the samples in this study were class II as many as 50 students. The result of the study showed t count > t table. The result was 2,655 > 1,711 and df 48. It showed that there was an effect of the index card match method on reading skills of at second grade students in Pidie District.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of MIN Ie Leubeue through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Data collection is carried out through preparation, implementation of actions, observation, and self-reflection. Data analysis is done descriptively. The results of data analysis show that the acquisition of student learning outcomes with an average value in cycle I the average value obtained by students is 68.13, cycle II the average value is 75.42 and cycle II the average value is 83.75. Student learning completeness in cycle I is 58.33%, cycle II is 79.17%, and cycle III is 95.83%. These it can be concluded, the implementation of STAD type Cooperative can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the aplication of the Group Investigation learning model to improve the cognitive of 5th grade students of MIN 18 Pidie. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). With data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations and field notes. The subjects of the study were 20 class V students consisting of 7 male students and 13 female students. The results of the study from the average value of students in cycle I were 61.5 with a percentage of 40%. In cycle II the average value obtained by students was 71.1 with a percentage of 72.8%. And in cycle III the average value obtained by students was 80 with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

Character is a behavior which is showed by a person in his environment either utterances, writing, performance or the way to express himself to face social character in daily life. So, character can be referred to the way of thinking and acting which is a typical in life and cooperating in family, society and nation. The qualified individual is one who can make decision and be responsible to consequence he already did. Furthermore, the character also means individuality, behavior, moral, or personality which is formed from internalization of various virtues and is believed and used as base to view, thought, act and behavior.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the implementation of experiment method to increase students’ understanding on concept in Konsep Dasar IPA II course. The kind of research done was Classroom Action Research. Which consisted of two cycles. The subject of the research was the undergraduate students of PGMI semester III class 1. The number of the students were 37. The result indicated that the students got improve in each cycle. In cycle I, Activity 1 and 2 the students were in the fair level, while in activity 3 until 6 stepped up into good level. Next, in cycle II, activity 1 until 4 the students got good, while four other activities got very good. Meanwhile the students understanding got improve from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with the mean score of the test was 77.0 while cycle II was 77.45. The improvement from pre test to cycle I was 11.55 point, for cycle II the improvement was 12 points. So, the conclusion is the experiment method can improve students’ understanding on concept.

Abstract

Tests are a series of questions or exercises that are used to measure skills, knowledge, intelligence, abilities or talents possessed by individuals or groups. A test is said to be of quality if it meets the requirements, namely validity, reliability, objectivity, practice, and economics. Determining the validity of the test using the Product Moment correlation formula, to determine whether the overall test in the form of choice is reliable is used Spearman-Brown formula, while to determine the reliability of the test in the form of essay used the formula of variance. Learning achievement is the result achieved by students during the teaching and learning process. In learning a teacher must understand the subject matter and also must be able to carry out evaluation (assessment) through the right and correct procedures. Therefore, each teacher must understand how the test criteria are correct and correct in order to measure student achievement well.

Abstract

This research wanted to identify whether the implementation of Cooperative Snowball Throwing could increase the achievements of the 4th grade students of MIN 42 Pidie. This research was a Classroom Action Research. The results described in qualitative data analyzing. It was found that the average scores of the students increased significantly in each cycle. Cycle I was 70.23, cycle II was 81,36 and cycle III was 87,27. Thus, the implementation of Cooperative Snowball Throwing could improve the students’ achievements in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of picture media in the learning process at SD Negeri 4 Sigli. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The research subjects were 24 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation, while the data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that in Cycle I, the average value of student learning outcomes reached 51.5 with a classical completeness of 16.6%, where only 4 of 24 students reached the high category. After learning improvements were made in Cycle II, the average value increased to 81.3 with a classical completeness of 66.7%, and the number of students reaching the high category increased to 16 people. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of picture media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flannel board media on the cognitive abilities of 5th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Peukan Pidie. The research design used by the researcher is an experimental research type with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study amounted to 175 people and the sample of this study was 30 of 5th grade students SD Negeri 3 Peukan Pidie consisting of 18 male students and 12 female students. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The results of the t-test where the significance level was 5% (0.05) obtained t-count 3.855> t-table 2.060. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of flannel board media on students' cognitive abilities on 5th grade SD Negeri 3 Peukan Pidie.
