Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of direct marketing and discount vouchers through live streaming in increasing repurchase intention on Shopee (a case study on Shopee consumers in the fashion category in Depok City). This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Primary data is collected using observation, direct interviews with relevant informants, and documentation. Secondary data collection is divided into two, namely internal data and external data. The data processing used in this research is source triangulation with data analysis techniques starting from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Effectiveness measurements include understanding, targeting accuracy, timeliness, goal achievement, and tangible changes. The research results show that direct marketing and discount vouchers have achieved effectiveness in increasing repurchase intention. This is evidenced by data obtained directly from consumers as informants that there has been a change in the number of transactions before and after the launch of the live- streaming feature. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of direct marketing and discount vouchers in increasing repurchase intention on Shopee have met the effectiveness measurements, namely understanding, targeting accuracy, timeliness, goal achievement, and tangible changes.

Abstract

Abstract Establishing an environmentally friendly behavior contributes to environmental awareness by integrating environment practices into daily employee activities at their workplace due to most of its time is at work, and it refers to motive that workplace that had environmentally friendly work behavior bring the employees working in a supportive work environment and may perceive more motivates to deliver high quality work consistently and bring them to the employee well-being, reduces operational of Government Agencies’ costs, and positively impacts the environment. This exploratory qualitative research comprised the Respondents from six government employees or the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who served in 3 (three) of government agencies including the horticulture, environment, and healthcare in one district/city in Bengkalis Riau Province. The findings of this research encompass five factors that can support in establishing an environmentally friendly behavior in government agencies. First, compiling and practicing policy instrument on environmentally friendly work behaviour in government areas. Second, enhancing the leadership's charge and role-modeling for being environmentally friendly behavior. Third, practicing and executing diverse environmentally friendly plan either solution and relating it into State Civil Apparatus. Fourth, adopt the technology that support environmentally friendly offices, and lastly, conduct training (education) and socialization on an environmentally friendly behavior to State Civil Apparatus. Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the competitiveness of Indonesian textile products in the United States market, one of the main export destinations for Indonesian textiles. The purpose of this study is to assess the comparative advantage of Indonesian textile products using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) method. The research employs secondary data obtained from sources such as the International Trade Centre’s Trade Map (2023), Ministry of Trade (2022), and Ministry of Industry (2023). The results of the RCA analysis reveal that several textile products, such as women’s knitted blouses and men’s suits, show high RCA values, indicating strong competitive advantages. However, challenges such as dependency on imported raw materials, inconsistent product quality, and limited innovation and research and development (R&D) hinder Indonesia's competitiveness in global markets. Furthermore, more than 70% of Indonesia's textile exports to the United States are channeled through intermediaries, reducing control over pricing and marketing strategies. This study recommends strategies to enhance Indonesia's textile competitiveness, such as reducing dependence on imported raw materials, improving product quality control, and increasing investment in innovation and R&D. Strengthening direct distribution networks to major markets like the United States and Europe is also essential for improving competitiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of readiness of MSMEs with the forms and innovation strategies implemented. Innovation itself is a combination of new ideas, changes, and innovation indices – a combination of innovation behavior – hereafter called innovation. The limitation of previous empirical research is that it has not integrated leadership factors, organizational structure, and service orientation as determinants that influence innovation. Referring to these problems, the aim of this research is to describe innovation in MSMEs, to describe leadership factors, organizational structure and service orientation towards innovation in MSMEs, as well as analyze the relationship model between leadership, structure and service orientation. Based on this, this research seeks to describe innovation in Depok City Creative Industry MSMEs through leadership factors, organizational structure and service orientation as well as analyzing the relationship model between leadership, structure and service orientation. Referring to a theoretical perspective, the nature of this research is explanatory research, which relies on a hypothetico-deductive method with a quantitative approach. The try out method was used in this research with data obtained through one data collection (questionnaire withdrawal). Data analysis is quantitative statistics. Research findings show that there is a significant influence on leadership variables on innovation, but not on organizational structure and service orientation variables. Both variables were not found to have a significant influence on innovation. The centralization of authority in terms of work and decision making strengthens the view that the organization is considered a mechanistic type of organization. Referring to these findings, factors that are thought not to have a positive influence on innovation need to be reviewed and their role increased in the future so that organizations are encouraged to become organic organizations through the distribution of power and authority evenly distributed among members.

Abstract

The contemporary digital era has fundamentally transformed the business communication landscape, where consumers possess significant power in shaping brand reputation through social media. Starbucks Corporation faced massive boycott waves triggered by political position controversies in late 2023, resulting in market value losses of 11 billion US dollars. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of crisis communication strategies in mitigating the impact of Brand Switching and stock price decline due to consumer boycotts using Starbucks as a case study objectThe research employed a quantitative approach with case study design, involving 384 respondents aged 18-30 years through purposive sampling. Research instruments consisted of structured questionnaires with Likert scale 1-5, analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and multiple regression analysis. Results showed low effectiveness of Starbucks' crisis communication (score 2.34/5), with Brand Switching intention reaching 68.2%. Significant negative correlations were found between crisis communication effectiveness with Brand Switching (r = -0.672) and stock volatility (r = -0.445). Maximum stock price decline reached 9.47% with market capitalization falling by 11.2 billion USD. Starbucks' reactive and defensive crisis communication strategy failed to mitigate boycott impacts. Development of crisis communication playbook emphasizing proactive engagement and transparency is recommended, along with implementation of early detection systems based on real-time sentiment analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh profitabilitas, struktur modal, dan likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan yang tergabung dalam indeks LQ45, dengan mempertimbangkan nilai tukar sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data panel dari 27 perusahaan selama periode 2022 hingga 2024, dan nilai perusahaan diukur menggunakan rasio Tobin’s Q. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun, secara individu hanya profitabilitas dan struktur modal yang menunjukkan pengaruh bermakna, sementara likuiditas tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Selanjutnya, nilai tukar berperan sebagai moderator dalam memperkuat hubungan antara profitabilitas dan nilai perusahaan, meskipun dampaknya terhadap struktur modal hanya marjinal dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap likuiditas. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa faktor internal perusahaan memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap penilaian pasar, dan nilai tukar sebagai variabel eksternal mampu mengubah arah atau kekuatan hubungan tersebut.

Abstract

A positive development for a thriving market competition is the escalating level of competition in the laundry industry. Enhancements in the characteristics of service quality are crucial for providing novel client experiences and fostering loyalty. Hence, The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in the laundry industry establishments located in the Bandung City region. The quantitative analysis method will be employed to collect data, which will be done by distributing questionnaires to active consumers of laundry businesses. The questionnaire encompasses factors such as service quality perception, satisfaction level, degree of loyalty, and customer demographic information. A significant positive influence of customer satisfaction and service quality on customer loyalty was revealed by the multiple linear regression analysis results. These findings provide significant insights for laundry firms aiming to enhance service quality and client satisfaction in order to boost customer loyalty. This contributes to the development of business actors and research- management.

Abstract

Digital transformation of tax administration through the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax) represents a strategic innovation to optimize tax compliance cost efficiency for medium-scale taxpayers in Indonesia. The digitalization phenomenon in taxation has emerged as a fundamental paradigm in fiscal system modernization aimed at reducing compliance cost burdens that have traditionally constituted structural constraints for medium-scale business entities. This research analyzes the impact of tax digitalization implementation on compliance cost efficiency using quantitative approach with quasi-experimental difference-in-difference design on 384 medium taxpayers in South Jakarta during 2019-2024 period. Research methodology adopts purposive sampling with annual turnover criteria of Rp 4.8-50 billion, measuring compliance cost components including time costs, administrative costs, and opportunity costs through secondary data extraction from DGT tax information systems and taxpayer financial reports. Data analysis employs fixed effects regression with Ordinary Least Squares estimation and robust standard error correction to address heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation in econometric models. Research findings reveal that Coretax system implementation significantly negatively affects tax compliance costs with coefficient -0.318 (p-value = 0.002), indicating 31.8% compliance cost reduction compared to baseline period. Heterogeneity analysis demonstrates efficiency variation based on digital literacy levels, with high-literacy taxpayers achieving 38.4% efficiency compared to low-literacy 22.6%. Findings confirm digitalization strategy effectiveness in achieving dual objectives of compliance enhancement and administrative efficiency with implications of Rp 4.5 billion productive resource reallocation within study population, providing empirical evidence for optimizing digital tax transformation policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the high selling price of luxury goods on the Coach brand, because it has become a spotlight in global economic and business discussions. The main focus is directed at the role of consumer perception and brand strength in forming high selling prices. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method and secondary data analysis obtained from annual reports, international business articles, and academic literature. The results of the study indicate that Coach's pricing strategy is not determined by production costs alone, but by consumer perceptions of brand image, social status, exclusivity and global supply chain. This study suggests that further researchers develop more studies related to the integration of consumer perception, supply chain strategy, and brand value in the context of strategic marketing with a global scope to enrich the literature on marketing and consumer behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh manajemen waktu dan pengalaman organisasi terhadap employability skills mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran UNESA. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda software berbantuan SPSS 25. Populasi penelitian menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 78 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran angkatan 2022, 2023 dan 2024 yang mengikuri organisasi kemahasiswaan lingkup fakultas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa manajemen waktu dan pengalaman organisasi berpengaruh sebesar 76% secara positif dan signifikan terhadap employability skills.
