Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia
Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang mempublikasikan karya penelitian dan artikel ilmiah terkait dengan bidang pendidikan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan wadah bagi para akademisi, peneliti, praktisi, dan pemerhati pendidikan untuk berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman, serta hasil penelitian terkini. Fokus utama dari Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia mencakup, tetapi tidak terbatas pada, berbagai aspek pendidikan, termasuk: Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah: Meliputi penelitian dan artikel tentang kurikulum, metode mengajar, evaluasi pembelajaran, pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran, pendidikan karakter, pengembangan kepribadian siswa, dan isu-isu terkini dalam pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Pendidikan Tinggi: Membahas berbagai topik terkait pendidikan tinggi, seperti kebijakan pendidikan tinggi, manajemen perguruan tinggi, pengajaran dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi, penilaian kualitas pendidikan tinggi, pendidikan vokasi, dan inovasi dalam pendidikan tinggi. Pendidikan Inklusif: Menyajikan penelitian dan artikel tentang pendidikan inklusif, pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, pendidikan inklusif di sekolah umum, dan strategi pendidikan untuk memastikan kesetaraan kesempatan bagi semua siswa. Teknologi Pendidikan: Meliputi penelitian tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, penggunaan media pembelajaran, e-learning, blended learning, pengembangan aplikasi dan platform pendidikan, serta analisis dampak teknologi dalam proses pendidikan. Pengembangan Profesi Guru: Menyajikan penelitian dan artikel terkait dengan pengembangan profesionalisme guru, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi guru, penilaian kinerja guru, dan isu-isu terkini dalam pengembangan profesi guru. Kebijakan Pendidikan: Membahas kebijakan pendidikan, evaluasi kebijakan, analisis dampak kebijakan pendidikan, serta isu-isu kebijakan pendidikan di tingkat nasional dan lokal. Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia mengundang kontribusi artikel ilmiah berbasis penelitian empiris, tinjauan literatur, artikel konseptual, dan ulasan buku yang relevan dengan fokus dan lingkup di atas. Semua artikel yang dikirimkan akan melalui proses review oleh para pakar dalam bidang pendidikan guna memastikan kualitas dan keakuratan konten yang dipublikasikan.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII MTs Bahrul Ulum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain penelitian Two-Group Posttest Only. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Bahrul Ulum. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji Mann Whitney karena uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas diperoleh data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh Z hitung > Z tabel yaitu 3,85 > 1,96 dengan nilai a=0,05, maka tolak H0. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII MTs Bahrul Ulum.

During the mathematics learning process, students were less active and struggled to understand mathematical concepts, as seen from their learning outcomes, which were often average or below average. Therefore, appropriate instructional improvements, such as the use of teaching aids, are necessary. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the use of teaching aids for sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir. The subjects of this study were 24 sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir, consisting of 10 boys and 14 girls. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The procedure included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments included learning materials and data collection tools. The results showed that the students' absorption rate in cycle I, meeting 1 was 72.70 (Poor) and in cycle I, meeting 2 was 76.45 (Fair), resulting in an average of 74.6 for cycle I. In cycle II, meeting 1, the absorption rate was 79.58 (Fair) and in cycle II, meeting 2, it was 84.37 (Good), resulting in an average of 82.0 for cycle II. The classical learning completeness was not achieved in cycle I (23.00%) but was achieved in cycle II (100.00%). Thus, the use of teaching aids can improve mathematics learning outcomes for sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Hilir.

The low mathematical problem-solving abilities of students are due to teacher-centered learning and a lack of independent study habits. This study aims to examine the effect of Polya's problem-solving approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the Non-Equivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population consists of all eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah. Samples were selected using random sampling, resulting in class VIII-1 as the experimental group and class VIII-2 as the control group. The experimental group used Polya's problem-solving approach, while the control group received conventional instruction. Data on mathematical problem-solving abilities were collected through tests administered at the end of the learning process, using validated instruments that measured validity, difficulty level, discrimination power, and reliability. Data analysis included hypothesis testing, preceded by a normality test. The normality test results indicated that the data were not normally distributed, so the Mann Whitney test was used for hypothesis testing. The results showed that Zcount = 4.95 > Ztable = 1.96 with α = 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0. Therefore, it can be concluded that Polya's problem-solving approach significantly affects the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah.

Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) merupakan salah satu bidang studi kurikuler di Sekolah Dasar. Karena rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran di kelas VI SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir, penulis melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran kegiatan penelitian di laksanakan di SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Siswa kurang mengusai materi pembelajaran dan siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran, terlihat dari hasil belajar IPA yang masih banyak memperoleh nilai yang rendah. Untuk itu diperlukan perbaikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD bagi siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang yang terdiri dari dari 12 orang siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur Penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrument penelitian berupa perangkat pembelajaran dan alat pengumpul data (lembar tes dan lembar observasi siswa). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata kelas pada siklus 1 yaitu 50% menjadi 70% pada siklus 2.

The Natural Science (IPA) subject is one of the curricular study fields in elementary schools. Due to the low understanding of students in the sixth grade of SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir, the author conducted a learning improvement study in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. Students had a poor grasp of the learning material and were less active in class, as evidenced by the many low scores in IPA. Therefore, an appropriate instructional improvement using the STAD cooperative learning model was needed. This study aims to improve IPA learning outcomes through the STAD cooperative learning model for sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir, with a total of 20 students consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. This research is a classroom action research. The procedure includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments were learning tools and data collection tools (test sheets and student observation sheets). The results showed an increase in the class average from 50% in cycle 1 to 70% in cycle 2.

This study aims to determine whether there is an improvement in the mathematical connection abilities of eighth-grade students at SMP N 7 Tambusai through the Brain-Based Learning model. This quasi-experimental research uses a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population includes all eighth-grade students at SMP N 7 Tambusai. Samples were taken using simple random sampling, resulting in two classes as samples: class VIII A as the experimental group and class VIII B as the control group. The research instrument was a test of mathematical connection abilities. Data from the test results were analyzed to test the hypothesis. Before hypothesis testing, a prerequisite normality test using the Liliefors test was conducted, which showed that the data were not normally distributed. Subsequently, hypothesis testing was carried out using the Mann Whitney test. The results indicated that Zcount > Ztable, specifically 3.40 > 1.96 for α = 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an improvement in the mathematical connection abilities of eighth-grade students at SMP N 7 Tambusai through the Brain-Based Learning model in the 2019/2020 academic year.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the application of problem-based learning models on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities based on the research results. The method used is a meta-analysis by analyzing the research results in articles published nationally relating to applying problem-based learning models to increase students' problem-solving skills at the high school level. The samples analyzed were thirteen articles from nationally published journals published in the 2015-2020 range at the junior and senior high school levels, which discussed increasing students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The instrument is a coding sheet or coding data that filters data and journal information. Based on the overall effect size analysis results, it is obtained that the average effect size value is in a large category. The findings from the analysis also prove that the problem-based learning model for mathematical problem-solving abilities is influential and effective in terms of educational level, subject matter and learning media used. The result shows that in this study, the problem-based learning model is more effectively used in improving mathematical problem-solving skills than conventional learning models.

Mathematical creative thinking is the ability to think that aims to create or find new, different, unusual, and original ideas that bring definite and precise results. This study aims to determine the mathematical creative thinking skills of students of SMAN 1 Bangun Purba class XI IPA 1. This research was conducted on 23 students in class XI IPA 1 using descriptive qualitative methods. The instrument used was a mathematical creative thinking ability test which consisted of 4 items on students’ mathematical creative thinking abilities on the probability material accompanied by interviews with students. Indicators of mathematical creative thinking abilities used are fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. This study concludes that the mathematical creative thinking ability of students of SMAN 1 Bangun Purba class XI IPA 1 has an average of 72.3 in the high category. At the same time, the presentation for fluency indicators is 74%, flexibility indicators 72%, originality indicators 66%, and indicators. Elaboration 77%. The highest percentage of creative thinking ability characteristics is elaboration, and the lowest is originality.

This research aims to assess the availability of audiovisual equipment and materials in schools and their practical usage in classroom teaching. The research design used is quantitative descriptive, and the instrument utilized for this research is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique employed is the Miles and Huberman Interactive analysis model. This study was conducted in 5 middle schools, with seven teachers as research subjects. The findings of this research indicate that the status of audiovisual equipment needs to be improved. Computers, televisions, tape recorders, and public address systems are only owned by 64.62% of the schools. Variables such as school management type, school age, school resources, and school strength do not significantly influence the possession of adequate or inadequate equipment in the schools. A total of 87.4% of the schools have effectively used audiovisual equipment. The school administration has yet to make any efforts to properly procure and utilize audiovisual equipment and materials, primarily due to the financial challenges associated with equipment maintenance.

This study examines the influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Physics students in Class X of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir. This research is a pre-experimental study with a quantitative descriptive approach using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The study was conducted in Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, focusing on temperature and heat during April in the even semester of the academic year 2014/2015. The sample consisted of 22 students from Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a Physics learning outcomes test. Based on the data obtained from the pretest and posttest, where the students' pretest average score was 40.3, and the posttest average score was 82.4, the magnitude of the influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics was assessed using the N-gain test, which fell within the high criteria with an average N-gain value of 0.70. The impact of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model was observed through the achievement of learning objectives. Before the treatment, only 2 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved by students, with a classical mastery level of 13.3%. However, after applying the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model, 13 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved, with a classical mastery level of 86.7%. This result indicates a significant influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model. Based on the research findings, there is an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics when using the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model.
