Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia
Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang mempublikasikan karya penelitian dan artikel ilmiah terkait dengan bidang pendidikan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan wadah bagi para akademisi, peneliti, praktisi, dan pemerhati pendidikan untuk berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman, serta hasil penelitian terkini. Fokus utama dari Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia mencakup, tetapi tidak terbatas pada, berbagai aspek pendidikan, termasuk: Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah: Meliputi penelitian dan artikel tentang kurikulum, metode mengajar, evaluasi pembelajaran, pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran, pendidikan karakter, pengembangan kepribadian siswa, dan isu-isu terkini dalam pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Pendidikan Tinggi: Membahas berbagai topik terkait pendidikan tinggi, seperti kebijakan pendidikan tinggi, manajemen perguruan tinggi, pengajaran dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi, penilaian kualitas pendidikan tinggi, pendidikan vokasi, dan inovasi dalam pendidikan tinggi. Pendidikan Inklusif: Menyajikan penelitian dan artikel tentang pendidikan inklusif, pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, pendidikan inklusif di sekolah umum, dan strategi pendidikan untuk memastikan kesetaraan kesempatan bagi semua siswa. Teknologi Pendidikan: Meliputi penelitian tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, penggunaan media pembelajaran, e-learning, blended learning, pengembangan aplikasi dan platform pendidikan, serta analisis dampak teknologi dalam proses pendidikan. Pengembangan Profesi Guru: Menyajikan penelitian dan artikel terkait dengan pengembangan profesionalisme guru, pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi guru, penilaian kinerja guru, dan isu-isu terkini dalam pengembangan profesi guru. Kebijakan Pendidikan: Membahas kebijakan pendidikan, evaluasi kebijakan, analisis dampak kebijakan pendidikan, serta isu-isu kebijakan pendidikan di tingkat nasional dan lokal. Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia mengundang kontribusi artikel ilmiah berbasis penelitian empiris, tinjauan literatur, artikel konseptual, dan ulasan buku yang relevan dengan fokus dan lingkup di atas. Semua artikel yang dikirimkan akan melalui proses review oleh para pakar dalam bidang pendidikan guna memastikan kualitas dan keakuratan konten yang dipublikasikan.

<![CDATA[This research is facing background by the frequent us of android as a medium in learning, but there’s no media available in the form of an android application on the curved side space building material. The purpose of this research is to produce a mathematic learning media based on Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on curved sideways material that is valid, practical and has a potential effect on learning outcomes. This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE development procedure. The data of this research were obtained through questionnaries and test. Based on the result of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the assesment of the questionnaire from the expert obtained a percentage of validity of 95% with very valid criteria. The practicality assessment obtained an average percentage of 89% which means that media is included in the very practical criteria. The potential effect of media on learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 89% with very high criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop a Validated Guided Inquiry-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) in Mathematics, focusing on systems of linear equations with two variables. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, although in this study, it only reached the development stage. The subjects of this research were eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah Hilir during the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The validation instrument used in this study was a validation questionnaire. The result of this research is a Guided Inquiry-based LKPD. Based on the validity test conducted by three validators with several revisions and improvements, the average validation score for the Guided Inquiry-based LKPD is 3.55, categorized as "very valid." Therefore, the Guided Inquiry-based LKPD is highly valid.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to provide a basis, reference, and insights into teachers' readiness in considering the implementation of two different curricula, namely the Merdeka Curriculum (KM) and the 2013 Curriculum (K13), while also describing teachers' perceptions of both curricula. This article serves as a valuable source of information for teachers by offering a comprehensive view and information regarding curriculum implementation. The method used in writing this article involves qualitative and descriptive literature studies. Data were obtained through literature reviews and observations, supplemented by structured interviews with several teachers from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in Rokan Hulu Regency selected purposively. Upon reevaluation, it was found that more teachers in Rokan Hulu tend to support the Merdeka Curriculum based on the existing KM system. However, it was also found that in Rokan Hulu, using the K-13 Curriculum is more efficient, considering teacher competencies and the availability of adequate school facilities, which only partially support the seamless implementation of the KM. As stated, "If you want to implement KM, infrastructure and support must be available, and what exists should be developed without hesitation," it becomes clear that the Merdeka Curriculum, alongside its demands on teachers at all school levels in Rokan Hulu, faces practical implementation challenges and inadequate infrastructure. Therefore, the author recommends to education stakeholders a gradual and comprehensive infrastructure improvement plan to ensure the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.]]>

<![CDATA[The student's ability to comprehend mathematical concepts remains a primary concern that needs improvement. This issue often arises due to the dominant role of teachers in the learning process, which can lead students to become passive. This research investigates the impact of using the Guided Inquiry instructional model on students' mathematical concept comprehension. The research method employed is quasi-experimental, involving 10th-grade students at SMAN 2 Rambah Hilir as the population. Sample selection was done using the simple random sampling method, resulting in two student groups: class X.B as the control group and class X.E as the experimental group. Data were collected through a specially designed test technique to measure students' mathematical concept comprehension. The test instrument underwent validation, difficulty level analysis, discrimination power assessment, and reliability analysis. Data analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney statistical test, yielding a calculated zscore of 4.67, while the critical ztable value was 1.96. These results indicate that the calculated zscore > critical ztable value indicates a significant positive impact of implementing the Guided Inquiry model on the mathematical concept comprehension of 10th-grade students at SMAN 2 Rambah Hilir.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigates the influence of learning motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Meluhu. The research method used is Ex-Post Facto, which aims to identify the cause-and-effect relationship between the independent variable (learning motivation) and the dependent variable (mathematics learning outcomes) after an event or phenomenon. The study population comprises 29 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Meluhu in the academic year 2021/2022, divided into two classes. The sample was selected using the Random Sampling method, ensuring that each individual in the population had an equal chance of being selected. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire and mid-semester exam scores (UTS) recording. The research results indicate that learning motivation has a moderate influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes, with an average learning motivation score of 44. In contrast, students' mathematics learning outcomes fall within the moderate category, with an average score of 55. Simple linear regression analysis revealed that each one-point increase in student learning motivation contributes to a 0.782-point increase in mathematics learning outcomes. In conclusion, learning motivation significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Meluhu, with learning motivation explaining approximately 68% of the variation in student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on the mathematical reasoning abilities of seventh-grade students at MTs Bahrul Ulum. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Two-Group Posttest Only design. The population consists of all seventh-grade students at MTs Bahrul Ulum. Samples were taken using simple random sampling, resulting in class VII B as the experimental group and class VII A as the control group. The experimental class used the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model, while the control class used conventional learning methods. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Mann Whitney test because the normality test prerequisite showed that the data were not normally distributed. The calculation results showed Zcount>Ztabel, which is 3.85 > 1.96 with an alpha value of 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model has an effect on the mathematical reasoning abilities of seventh-grade students at MTs Bahrul Ulum.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop a Guided Discovery-based Student Activity Sheet for seventh-grade students in junior high school, focusing on Algebraic Form material and ensuring its validity. The research follows the Research and Development method, consisting of three main stages: defining, designing, and developing. The instrument used in this study is a validation questionnaire. Based on the validity test of the Guided Discovery-based Student Activity Sheet conducted by two validators with several revisions and improvements, the average validation score obtained was 3.03, indicating a highly valid category. Thus, the Guided Discovery-based Student Activity Sheet for Algebraic Form material, intended for seventh-grade students in junior high school, is valid.]]>

<![CDATA[In today's era of education, the challenge for teachers to understand students' characteristics that align with the changing times has become increasingly urgent. This is especially pertinent in teaching Social Sciences (IPS) at the elementary school level, where shaping behaviours and attitudes in line with Pancasila values takes centre stage. This research analyses teaching methods to enhance students' comprehension of the IPS subject within the classroom environment. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach through a literature review, allowing for collecting information from various sources related to relevant teaching methods. The research findings reveal that several effective methods for enhancing students' understanding include Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), which connects learning concepts with everyday life; Cooperative Learning, which fosters interaction among students; Group Discussions to develop speaking and listening skills; Question and Answer sessions to stimulate critical thinking; Role Playing to understand different perspectives; and Field Trips (Karyawisata) for experiential-based learning. This research is expected to provide valuable guidance for teachers in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences, with the potential to overcome boredom and foster creative thinking patterns among students within the classroom.]]>

<![CDATA[The main objective of this research is to develop a valid Student Worksheet (LKS) in mathematics, mainly focusing on social arithmetic. The method applied in this study is the research and development approach, involving three crucial stages: definition, design, and development. A validation questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Based on the results of validity tests conducted by three validators, after undergoing a process of revisions and improvements, an average validation score of 3.36 was obtained for the mathematics LKS, categorized as "highly valid." This mathematics LKS covers essential topics such as selling and buying prices, profit and loss calculations, and discount concepts. Thus, the generated LKS possesses strong validity and emphasizes relevant materials within the context of social arithmetic.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the influence of the Brain Based Learning model on the mathematical critical thinking abilities of 10th-grade students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam. The type of research conducted here is a pre-experiment with an Intact-Group Comparison research design, where one class is divided into two groups. The sampling process employed random sampling techniques for selecting participants. Data on mathematical critical thinking abilities were collected through a test. Data analysis was carried out to test the hypotheses. Before hypothesis testing, a prerequisite test for normality was conducted. The results of the normality test indicated that the data did not follow a normal distribution. Therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Mann Whitney test. The calculation results showed that the calculated z-score zscore > critical ztable, with a value of zscore = 4.39 > ztable = 1.96, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). This means that there is a significant influence of the Brain Based Learning model on the mathematical critical thinking abilities of 10th-grade students at SMAS Salafiyah Babussalam. This research contributes significantly to the development of effective learning methods aimed at improving students' mathematical critical thinking abilities.]]>
