Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of cognitive development of early childhood in symbolic thinking among students at Darul Fikri Kindergarten. In facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the use of technology, especially in learning, is important. In Indonesia, technology-based applications, such as Icando, have been introduced as an interactive learning tool for early childhood. The Icando children's learning application is one method that can be used to improve cognitive development. This research aims to describe the influence of using the Icando children's learning application on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The population of this study were students, parents and teachers at Darul Fikri Kindergarten, Sucinaraja District, Garut Regency with a sample size of 22 people. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlation design, and analysis of the coefficient of determination is also carried out to determine how much contribution the analysis will make after it is carried out. The results of data analysis in this study show that partially, the Children's Learning Application "Icando" has a significant influence on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The results of the coefficient of determination show that 66.9% of children's cognitive development in symbolic thinking is influenced by the use of the Icando children's learning application, while the remaining 33.1% is influenced by other factors, such as the learning methods applied at Darul Fikri Kindergarten. Abstract

In general, it is known that activities at RA Nurul Huda have placed more emphasis on technical reading and writing skills. This research aims to determine the effect of the Marbel Letter Application on learning motivation and the ability to recognize letters in early childhood. The research used is quantitative research, where quantitative research is more concerned with depth of data and can record as much data as possible. The results of the research that has been carried out have obtained significant values, where the post-test coefficient of determination (R2) test value is 69.2% higher than the pre-test value of 40.8%. This shows the influence of the Marbel Letter Application (X) on learning motivation (Y1) and the ability to recognize letters (Y2) in early childhood.  Keywords: Marbel Letter Application, Learning Motivation, Ability Recognizing Letters, Early Childhood

Abstract

Understanding the concept of numbers for young children is an important aspect of development that needs to be improved because it has a big impact on an individual's survival in the future. In this research, the background is that there are several factors that hinder the introduction of the concept of numbers, namely in the learning process which does not use varied methods and limited learning media, so it is less developed. Researchers encountered a similar problem in Kober Al-Barokah, where children's introduction to the concept of numbers was underdeveloped. Therefore, action needs to be taken to improve children's introduction to the concept of numbers. Researchers are trying to improve the concept of numbers, namely by using digital analog clocks. Digital Analog Clocks are media that can help children to understand the concept of numbers because in these clocks there are several numbers, with various clock media and attractive models it can increase children's interest in learning and children can easily understand each learning activity. The aim of this research is to describe how to improve understanding of the concept of numbers in Kober Al-Barokah, how to apply digital analog clock media in learning environmental themes in Kober Al-Barokah and how to improve children's concept of numbers through digital analog clock media. Apart from that, researchers can find out the extent of the effectiveness of improving children's concept of numbers (variable Y) through digital analog clocks (variable X). The type of research used is classroom action research or PTK with a Kemmis and Taggart design and using qualitative methods with a total of 15 students with 7 male subjects and 8 female subjects. The subjects of this research were group A in Kober Al-Barokah aged 4-5 years. Data collection techniques in this research consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on observations that have been made, the concept of early childhood figures in Kober Al-Barokah is 26.6% with the category of children developing according to expectations. When carrying out actions in cycle I there was no improvement because they still used the same media and the percentage results were still 26.6%, in cycle II it increased to 46.6% and cycle III increased to 80% with the category developing very well and 20% with the category developing according to expectations. This shows a significant increase in the introduction of number concepts using digital analog clock media in group A Kober Al-Barokah with a percentage of 100% developing children.  Keywords: Early Childhood, Understanding the Concept of Numbers, Digital Analog Clock

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of literacy skills of children in Indonesia based on the results of the 2023 PISA test, that there are still 70 percent of Indonesian students who have a literacy level below the minimum standards set. Researchers encountered a similar problem at RA Al Barokah where the level of numeracy literacy skills was still in the low category, namely 25.46%. Researchers are trying to improve the numeracy literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years using loose part media. The aim of this research is to get an idea of ​​the increase in numeracy literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years using loose part media at RA Al Barokah, and to get an idea of ​​the significance of loose part media as a medium to help children understand the concepts of algebra, numbers, geometry , measurement and data analysis. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach and uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The results of this research show that the use of loose part media in improving the numeracy literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Barokah showed a significant impact, seen from the success percentage which reached 100% after the Cycle I, Cycle II and Cycle III actions were given. where each cycle consists of 2 meetings.  Keywords : Early Childhood, Numeracy Literacy, Loose Part Media

Abstract

The lack of public knowledge about stunting turned out to be the main reason why parents are reluctant to take their children to posyandu. This is evident from the results of interviews with mothers who have children under five, most of whom are afraid if their child is diagnosed with stunting because it is considered a disgrace. In addition, often parents do not accept that their child is considered stunted and give various reasons so that the child does not get treatment and check his growth.The purpose of this research is reflected in the formulation of the problem, namely: How is the case of stunting in Situsari Village, what is the role of the Situsari Village Government in alleviating stunting, how is the significance of the number of stunted babies in Situsari Village.This research is a descriptive research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies as well as content analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the results of the study, it was found that the participation of the Village Government in efforts to alleviate stunting in Situsari Village has been carried out well, the benefits carried out by the Village Government in stunting alleviation are felt by parents, especially in terms of food assistance and classes for mothers under five special stunting. Abstract

This title was raised by researchers based on the results of initial observations of children's fine motor skills in group A RA PERSIS 55 pangatikan Garut which are still not well developed. Among these problems is that children still have difficulty controlling their fine muscles such as not being able to hold a pencil, make lines or circles and the child's hand is still very stiff when flicked. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of trackball games in improving children's fine motor skills in group A RA exactly 55 pangatikan Garut district. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the increase in fine motor skills of early childhood in group A1 RA PERSIS 55 Pangatikan Garut Regency, with a total of 10 children. The results of data analysis show that the trackball game on development. Fine Motoric in group A1 RA PERSIS 55 Pangatikan Garut Regency. showed a significant impact related to the fine motor development of female students, seen from the percentage results showing the final value of BB 0%, MB 0%, BSH 20% and BSB 80% of these results were obtained after passing the pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. Abstract

This research was motivated by problems in children's language abilities. Language skills in early childhood are being able to listen, communicate verbally, have a vocabulary and recognize the symbols that represent them in preparation for reading and writing. So researchers observe that there is a gap between children whose language skills have not yet developed, factors that influence the lack of language development in children are a lack of attention, encouragement and motivation from parents and the environment. This problem occurred in group B at TK RIYADLUL FALAAH, among them the children had not been able to present their work, had not dared to appear in front of friends, and had not dared to express their opinions. This research aims to: 1) Describe the language development of group B children at TK RIYADLUL FALAAH. 2) Describe the activity of appreciating works of fine art in order to develop children's language development at TK RIYADLUL FALAAH  in class B. 3) Describe the language development of children in group B at RA Miftahul Hidayah after the activity of appreciating works of fine art was carried out. The method taken is the classroom action research (PTK) method using the Kemmis MC and Taggart model, with a qualitative approach. Data collection takes the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research were carried out in 2 cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle, pre-cycle average score 36 with a completion percentage of 47.06%, in the first cycle the average score was 41.5 with a completion percentage of 58.83% from 17 children. Meanwhile, in cycle II the average score was 52 with a completion percentage of 94.12% from 17 children. This shows that there was an increase in the average value of children's language development from cycle I to cycle II.  Keywords: Appreciation, Language Development

Abstract

The researcher raised the title based on the results of initial observations at Al-Barokah Sucinaraja-Garut Kindergarten regarding the ability to memorize short letters of children aged 5-6 years which showed that it had not yet developed. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Tikrar method in improving the ability to memorize short letters in children aged 5 to 6 years at Al-Barokah Kindergarten, Sucinaraja-Garut. This research uses classroom research methods (PTK) carried out in three classroom action research cycles, with a qualitative approach. The object of this research is to improve the ability to memorize short letters for children aged 5-6 years at the Al-Barokah Sucinaraja-Garut Kindergarten, with a total of 10 children. Research results: In cycle I, the first week the researcher began applying the Tikrar method to Surah Al-Lahab, repeated every day for one week in a row in the initial activities before the core of learning, in the second week applying the method to Surah An-Nasr, in cycle II, the third week applying the method. on the Al-Kafirun letter, and in the fourth week of memorization, the memorization is carried out one by one by the children so that the development of memorization abilities can be seen when compared before using the Tikrar method. In the fourth week, the average number of short letters remembered by children increased significantly. shows that the tikrar method is effectively used by teachers to improve the ability to memorize short letters in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Barokah Kindergarten, Sucinaraja-Garut. The application of this method not only increases the number of short letters that are memorized correctly, but also improves children's learning motivation and receives positive responses from parents. Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of improving the fine motor skills of +children aged 5-6 years at RA Miftahul Hidayah. This problem can be seen from children who are not yet able to cut and cut simple shapes according to patterns, cannot stick pictures neatly, and do not dare to express themselves by creating art. This research aims to improve children's fine motor skills through collage activities at RA Miftahul Hidayah by: 1). Describe the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Miftahul Hidayah before carrying out collage activities using waste compact disks. 2) Describe the implementation of collage activities using waste compact disks at RA Miftahul Hidayah. 3) Describe the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Iftahul Hidayah after carrying out collage activities using waste compact disks. The method taken is the classroom action research (PTK) method using the Kemmis MC and Taggart model, with a qualitative approach. Data collection takes the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research were carried out in 2 meetings, in cycle I the average score was 52.8 with a completion percentage of 65% from 20 children. Meanwhile, in cycle II the average score was 60.9 with a completion percentage of 90% from 20 children. Abstract

The background to this research was conducting initial observations on October 11 2023 at the AL-Islam Riyadhul Irfan PAUD institution located at Kp. Cikaso RT 02 RW 08 Rancasalak Kadungora Village, Garut Regency. In PAUD, the financial literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years are still relatively low.  This is proven by data during initial observations carried out by researchers where data on knowledge of children aged 5-6 years about the concept of money and skills to recognize various types of money Developed 53.84% = 7 people, eligible 46.15 = 6 capable people 0 Proficient 0. Literacy is very important for every individual, be it parents, teenagers, even young children. This research aims to develop ATM SIARI media as a medium for learning financial literacy for young children, as well as to determine the feasibility of ATM SIARI as a learning media in Early Childhood financial literacy. This research is an R&D research that adopts developments from Borg and Gall, the subjects in this research are PAUD Al-Islam Riyadhul Irfan aged 5-6 years and PAUD Sabilulungan aged 5-6 years with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires validated by several experts, namely : material experts and media experts to test the quality of SIARI ATMs, several stages of testing were also carried out, namely: individual trials, small group trials, and large group trials to determine the quality of SIARI ATMs, the type of data produced was qualitative which was analyzed with guidelines for assessment criteria to determine the quality of the SIARI ATM Media being developed. This research produced a product in the form of ATM SIARI as a learning media based on research by material experts, getting an average score of 4 with a very precise category, the media expert's assessment got an average score of 3, with the correct category, assessment in individual trials, getting a pre-test score of 5.2. and the posttest score is 15, the SIARI ATM media has an influence on learning financial literacy for young children. Small group trials obtained a calculated T value that was greater than the t table, namely 53.97>1.710. So, there was a significant influence. And the large group trial obtained a calculated t value that was greater than the t table, namely 149.481>1.710 So there is a significant influence and the ATM SIARI media is suitable for use in learning financial literacy for early childhood.
