Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find eco-friendly nanoparticles synthesized from the leaf extract of Tradescantia pallida and to find their antimicrobial activities. Phytochemical investigation of these plants reveals the occurrence of flavonoids, alkaloids, sterols, terpenoids, tannins, saponins, proteins, carbohydrates phenols, etc. Nanoparticle confirmation was done by UV/Visible spectroscopy which gives a peak at 429 nm for Ag-NPs and 532 nm for Au-NPs. The morphology of the nanoparticle was checked by spectroscopic techniques. The average size of the nanoparticles was established by using SEM analysis. The antibacterial activity of synthesized nanoparticles was checked against gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial strains like Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhimurium, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and for antifungal activity two fungal strain Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger were used. The results demonstrate that the synthesized nanoparticles have promising activity against all used strains and can be used as antimicrobial agents.

Abstract

The acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia has led to an increase in the country's Digital Competitiveness ranking, now at 45th in the world. However, it is important to further examine the community aspect of digital transformation in Indonesia, particularly in terms of digital readiness. The senior or elderly population is one group that is vulnerable in this regard. The objective of this study is to investigate the state of digital transformation in Indonesia, with a focus on the elderly population's digital readiness. The research employed the semi-systematic literature review method and the Publish or Perish application. The data collected was not computer-based or related to information systems for seniors or the elderly population. Instead, it was based on articles and papers collected from Scopus, Crossref, and Google Scholar journal databases. The research results indicate that digital transformation in Indonesia is a compelling topic. The Scopus, Google Scholar, and Crossref indexes contain 46, 185, and over 1000 articles on this theme, respectively. However, researchers in Indonesia have not studied the engagement and attention to seniors or the elderly population.

Abstract

Transitioning from early childhood education to elementary school constitutes a critical phase in the educational journey of children in Indonesia today. This transition involves acclimating young learners to a substantially different educational environment than their early childhood education. To facilitate a smooth transition, elementary schools must establish robust internal regulations to prepare students for this crucial milestone. This research endeavors to innovate and provide practical strategies to assist prospective elementary school students in their preparation, particularly in the ongoing independent curriculum utilizing the Pancasila student profile strengthening project, commonly referred to as P5. A central aspect of this study involves the integration of Basic Understanding Of Indonesia through crossword Puzzle Games for Early Childhood learners. This initiative aims to introduce educational media that fosters character development and simultaneously offers parents valuable insights into their children's characters as they prepare for the transition from early childhood education to elementary education. The study employs the ADDIE model approach, which encompasses five stages: needs analysis, planning, media production, evaluation, and implementation. Validator questionnaires and data collection methods were employed to assess the effectiveness of the puzzle media. Validation results indicated a percentage of 3.95% for the puzzle media and 3.80% for the puzzle content media. Combining these validation results, the researcher conducted comprehensive testing of the puzzle game media to gauge its suitability for both media quality and content relevance for children. The findings of this study suggest that integrating Basic Understanding Of Indonesia through crossword Puzzle Games for Early Childhood learners can be a valuable asset in preparing children for the transition from early childhood education to elementary school. The puzzle game media, Designed to deepen character values, demonstrated high acceptance among young learners. The positive outcomes of this research highlight the potential of utilizing innovative educational media to enhance character development and facilitate a smoother transition into elementary education for early childhood learners in Indonesia. Abstract

Spatial presentation of data can provide broader information about an event or a feature that can facilitate drawing conclusions, for example using webGIS. WebGIS development in Klaten Regency has been implemented to display school data using licensed tools, but no development has been carried out using open source tools so that it is easy to customize. So, the development of a webGIS prototype is needed for the management and assessment of school data in Klaten Regency using open source tools. The system development methodology used is the waterfall model, with the phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system was developed using the PHP language framework Code Igniter 4, MySQL database, front-end development in displaying maps using Leaflet.js and OpenStreetMap libraries. Spatial data of sub-district areas in the form of polygons is displayed using JSON and AJAX technology. School spatial data is displayed in the form of location point markers with school profile pop-ups. Functionality testing is carried out using the black box testing method resulting in all features functioning according to their functions.
