Abstract

Technological developments, especially in the health sector, are currently growing very rapidly. Robotic Telesurgery or remote surgical robots are expected to become a technology that can realize health equality in Indonesia, but it is a shame that technological progress is not comparable to the relevant regulations that regulate it, it is feared that this will not guarantee legal certainty which could lead to malpractice. The method used in this research is a normative legal research method because the focus of the study departs from the vagueness of norms using the approach: statute approach, conceptual approach, as well as analytical approach. The legal material search technique uses document study techniques, and study analysis uses qualitative analysis. The results of this research are that there is a void in norms in Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health which does not regulate legal responsibility for failed operations through Robotic Telesurgery So it is necessary to create a law that specifically regulates the responsibilities of doctors.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the economic structure transformation in each district in Riau Province. The method used is analyzing competitive advantage and specialization of Esteban Marquillass and Klassen typology. From the results of processing, it is known that agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are superior sectors, have competitiveness, and are specialized in 6 districts in Riau, namely Indragiri Hulu (Inhu), Kampar, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Pelalawan, Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing), and Rokan Hulu (Rohul). The manufacturing industry is a superior sector that has competitiveness and specialization in Dumai City, and the trade sector is a sector that has a competitive advantage and specialization in Pekanbaru City. Meanwhile, no single industry has a competitive advantage and specialization in 4 other districts (Siak, Bengkalis, Rokan Hilir, and Kepulauan Meranti). Processing results with the Klassen typology show that the agricultural industry in Kuansing, Inhu, and Kampar Regencies, which 2012 was developing, will shift to become a mainstay sector in 2022. In contrast, in Bengkalis, Pekanbaru, and Dumai Regencies, this sector is still one of the lagging economic sectors.

Abstract

Gender equality is one of the goals of SDG, so every country needs to make efforts so that gender equality can be realized. Gender inequality is calculated using the Gender Inequality Index (GII). One of the components in preparing the Gender Inequality Index is labor force participation rate. Within the population included in the labor force, some people are employed and unemployed. In this study, gender inequality in terms of unemployment will be calculated using Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition with three calculation stages. The first is probit regression analysis, the second is marginal effects and the third is Oaxaca blinder decomposition. The results of the probit regression analysis show that all observed independent variables significantly effect on unemployment for both men and women. Meanwhile, the marginal effect results show that this variable’s influence is quite small, only 0.1 - 2 percent. The results of Oaxaca blinder decomposition show that the inequality between male and female unemployment is 1.42%, of which 29.88% is influenced by, observed factors and unobserved factors influence the remaining. There are only three variables that influence the gender gap, namely marital status, number of household members and household income 70.12%.

This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system for nebulizers and infusion devices for patients with lung diseases, specifically Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). The aim is to improve nursing efficiency and minimize the risk of complications due to delayed patient care by enabling remote monitoring and providing real-time information on the status of nebulizers and infusion devices via a website. The system is designed to stop the infusion fLow when the required amount is reached and to automatically turn off the nebulizer when there is no liquid. It uses an ESP32 microcontroller to control IR obstacle sensors, relays, and a servo motor for the infusion clamp, as well as an LCD display for digital information and feature displays. The system is also equipped with an alarm to indicate when the infusion liquid or nebulizer is depleted and a website to provide real-time status information to medical personnel. Testing shows that the system has a high accuracy of 98.7% and minimal error of approximately 1.82% in monitoring and controlling nebulizer and infusion fluids. In conclusion, the system successfully improves nursing efficiency and patient safety while reducing the workload of nurses through the automation of medical devices that were previously managed manually.
