Abstract

Digital education is an important aspect of the transformation of global education systems, which has gained significant attention in various countries. This study examines the implementation of digital education in Indonesia and Ireland, with a focus on the development of interactive multimedia-based Student Worksheets (LKPD). Although Indonesia has launched various initiatives such as the Digital School program, the main challenges faced are the digital divide between urban and rural areas, as well as limitations in infrastructure and teacher training. Meanwhile, Ireland has successfully integrated technology through the Digital Strategy for Schools 2022-2027, which aims to improve the use of technology in education. However, the main challenge faced is the need to update teacher training to keep pace with rapid technological developments. The use of interactive multimedia-based LKPD has been proven to increase student motivation and learning outcomes, although its application in both countries is still limited. Therefore, to improve the quality of education, both Indonesia and Ireland need to strengthen teacher training and update the curriculum to be more adaptive to technological developments. This study suggests that Indonesia leverage Ireland's experience in improving infrastructure, providing continuous training for teachers, and developing multimedia-based LKPD to support a more effective learning process.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah masalah pengelolaan tanah kas desa di Desa Kawunglarang, Kecamatan Rancah, Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat, yang belum optimal. Tanah kas desa, salah satu aset strategis pemerintah desa, memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Desa. Namun, karena keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan kurangnya perencanaan yang sistematis, pemanfaatannya masih belum optimal. Analisis strategi pengembangan dan optimalisasi pengelolaan tanah kas desa untuk mendukung peningkatan PAD secara berkelanjutan adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif. Studi pustaka, observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi adalah metode pengumpulan data. Terdapat sepuluh informan yang dipilih secara acak dari unsur pemerintahan desa, BPD, dan individu masyarakat. Metode model interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk melakukan analisis data, yang mencakup proses untuk mengurangi data, menyajikan data, dan menghasilkan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan tanah kas desa belum mencapai tingkat efektivitas terbaik untuk meningkatkan PAD. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah desain model pengelolaan yang berbasis pada perencanaan partisipatif serta peningkatan kemampuan staf desa. Hasil ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk kebijakan pengelolaan tanah kas desa di daerah pedesaan lainnya dan membantu dalam pembangunan tata kelola aset desa yang lebih efisien dan akuntabel.

Abstract

This study discusses the social and economic impacts of the lebak lebung system on the community of Tanjung Serang Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency during the period 20102022. The lebak lebung system, which is inherited from generation to generation, is a form of traditional auction-based water management that grants management rights to the auction winner (pengemin). The type of research is qualitative with in-depth interview methods, observation, and documentation studies. And the method used is the historical method with a heuristic approach, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study indicate that the existence of lebak lebung has had a positive impact on increasing community income, opening up employment opportunities, strengthening social interaction, and increasing food security and local economic empowerment. In addition, the integration of local wisdom with regional regulations has encouraged more sustainable and accountable management. In conclusion, the lebak lebung system not only contributes to economic welfare, but also becomes part of the social and cultural identity of the local community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dosen pembimbing akademik terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Serta untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi peran dosen pembimbing akademik dalam upaya pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peran dosen pembimbing akademik dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas pribadi dan moral mahasiswa, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja dosen itu sendiri. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi peran dosen pembimbing akademik dalam proses pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Pertama, adanya perbedaan tingkat kedewasaan antara dosen dan mahasiswa. Kedua, perbedaan dalam aspek psikologis, sosial-emosional, dan latar belakang budaya mahasiswa. Persepsi mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa peran dosen pembimbing akademik terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa berdampak positif, yang dapat dilihat dari pelaksanaan proses perkuliahan, ujian, dan layanan akademik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of taxpayer awareness and tax service satisfaction on taxpayer compliance: e-filing as a moderating variable (Case Study at the Sukoharjo Tax Office). This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used are primary data, obtained by distributing questionnaires to taxpayers who are about to fulfill their tax obligations and have used e-filing at the Sukoharjo Tax Office, using a Likert scale. The population in this study is all individual taxpayers registered within the jurisdiction of the Sukoharjo Tax Office. The Slovin formula was used to determine the sample size required for this study. Based on the Slovin formula, the sample size for this study was determined to be 217 respondents. The data analysis method employed in this study was descriptive, utilizing a quantitative approach and Statistical Products and Services Solutions (SPSS) software to determine the significance level of each independent variable coefficient on the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that Taxpayer Awareness has a significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance. Tax Service Satisfaction does not have a substantial impact on Taxpayer Compliance. E-Filing does not affect Taxpayer Compliance. E-Filing is unable to moderate the relationship between Taxpayer Awareness and Taxpayer Compliance. E-Filing is unable to moderate the relationship between Tax Service Satisfaction and Tax Compliance.

Abstract

This study examines a digital communication campaign conducted by Gigigo Clinic through its Instagram account, @gigigo.id, aimed at improving public education and awareness of the importance of maintaining oral health. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study aims to describe the campaign strategy, evaluate the effectiveness of the educational content delivered, and identify audience engagement in the campaign. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the social media team and clinic owners, direct observation of Instagram content, and visual documentation. Findings were analyzed using the RACE (Research, Action, Communication, Evaluation) model to identify the strategic stages in the campaign's implementation. The results of the study indicate that Instagram is used by Gigigo as an educational platform, especially in reaching the target audience aged 1835 years. Consistent, interactive, and relevant content strategies were proven effective in increasing engagement and driving behavioral changes among the audience regarding oral health. This digital campaign serves as a concrete example of structured and impactful digital communication in the context of health promotion

Abstract

The rise of teenage motorcycle gangs in Medan represents a significant social and psychological issue, marked by patterns of violence, delinquency, and identity crises. This study aims to explore the deviant behavior of adolescent gang members through the lens of Sigmund Freuds structural personality theory, particularly examining the roles of the id, ego, and superego, and the influence of childhood trauma on personality development. A qualitative-descriptive method was used to collect in-depth insights from selected informants, including active and former gang members, school counselors, community leaders, and law enforcement personnel. Data were gathered through limited observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke (2006) was applied, with themes constructed around key Freudian concepts. Findings indicate that the dominance of the id, weakened ego regulation, and an underdeveloped superego contribute to impulsive, aggressive, and morally detached behaviors among gang members. Early trauma, such as emotional neglect and exposure to domestic violence, significantly impairs personality development. In many cases, the gang provides a psychological refuge and an alternative moral structure, substituting familial support. Defense mechanisms such as rationalization and projection are commonly used by adolescents to justify their violent acts. The study concludes that understanding gang behavior from a psychoanalytic perspective provides a deeper comprehension of the psychological roots of violence. It also highlights the need for early psychosocial intervention, family-based support, and structured therapeutic programs focused on rebuilding ego strength and moral reasoning.

Abstract

Competition among universities requires each institution to establish a strong identity that is easily recognizable and has a clear position in the public mind. One communication strategy used is the use of taglines as a representation of the institution's values and character. This study aims to analyze the influence of the tagline of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta (UMS), namely "Wacana Keilmuan dan Keislaman" (Discourse on Science and Islam), on the formation of brand awareness and campus image. This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a simple linear regression method with two equation models to investigate the relationship between the tagline variable and brand awareness, as well as campus image. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who are active students in the Communication Studies program at UMS. The results of the study indicate that the UMS tagline has a positive and significant influence on both brand awareness and campus image, with a probability value of 0.000 (p 0.05) in both models

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisa apa saja nilai sosial pelapisan kasta pada acara Rambu Solo di daerah Tondon Langi Toraja Utara, 2) Untuk menganalisa rekonstruksi sosial Masyarakat atas pemaknaan nilai yang terkandung dalam pelapisan kasta pada acara Rambu Solo di daerah Tondon Langi Toraja Utara, dan 3) Untuk menganalisis dampak sosial dari pelapisan kasta pada acara Rambu Solo di daerah Tondon Toraja Utara. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari empat tingkatan kasta yang di akui di daerah Tondo Langi dan Tetua adat sebanyak 15 informan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu Reduksi data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukka bahwa : 1) Nilai yang terkandung dalam pelapisan kasta pada acara rambu solo terdapat empat indikator yaitu a) sistem kepercayaan dan agama, b) kelembagaan sosial, c) norma sosial dan etika, d) kebiasaan dan tradisi. 2) Rekonstruksi sosial pada pelapisan kasta dapat terjadi melalui perkawinan dan tradisi Ma Talla Sanda Saratu. 3) Dampak sosial yang dirasakan Masyarakat terhadap pelapisan kasta yaitu adanya ketidakadilan yang dirasakan terutama kasta bawah (Tana Kua-Kua).

Abstract

The merger of three state-owned Islamic banks into Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) represents a strategic effort to enhance the competitiveness and institutional efficiency of the national Islamic banking sector. This study aims to analyze changes in financial performance before and after the merger using the CAMELS framework and to formulate institutional strengthening strategies based on SWOT analysis, supported by the IFE and EFE matrices. Employing a quantitative approach, financial report data from 2017 to 2023 were analyzed using a paired sample t-test, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and strategic mapping. The t-test results show that all CAMELS indicators experienced significant changes, including Capital (t=33.586; Sig=0.000), Earnings (t=28.206; Sig=0.000), and Liquidity (t=75.768; Sig=0.000). The IPA results indicate that indicators such as profitability and management shifted to Quadrant I (high priority and high performance), while asset quality and market sensitivity remain in Quadrant II (high priority but underperforming). Based on the weighting and scoring from IPA and t-test results, the IFE score of 3.77 and the EFE score of 3.25 place BSI in the "aggressive" quadrant of the IE matrix. The SWOT formulation generates an SO (StrengthsOpportunities) strategy, emphasizing the optimization of internal strengths such as capital adequacy and liquidity stability to seize external opportunities like digitalization and the expanding Islamic financial market. This study concludes that the merger had a positive impact on financial performance, yet a sustainable institutional strategy focusing on operational efficiency, risk management, and post-merger integration remains essential.
