Abstract

Government development and supervision in the Surabaya area is an important aspect in ensuring good and effective governance. This research aims to analyze the mechanisms, challenges and impacts of guidance and supervision carried out by the central government on regional government in Surabaya. Through qualitative methods, data was collected through in-depth interviews with government officials and study of related documents. The research results show that effective guidance and supervision can improve accountability, transparency and regional government performance. However, there are also several obstacles such as lack of resources and coordination that need to be overcome to achieve optimal results

Abstract

This study aims to analyse and compare the determination of cost of goods produced in Micro, Small, and Small Enterprise at Kopi Tempat Kamu Pulang using the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method with traditional method used by the owner of Kopi Tempat Kamu Pulang. Data was obtained through direct interviews with the owner and baristas of Kopi Tempat Kamu Pulang, as well as direct observation of the production process. The analysis method used is descriptive quatitative. The result of the study show that the use of Activity Based Costing method in determining the cost of goods produced produces significant differences compared to the traditional method which only includes raw material costs. The cost of goods produced using the Activity Based Costing method tends to be higher because it includes activities from direct labor costs and activities from factory overhead costs. This causes the selling price obtained to be higher and reduce competitiveness in the market. Therefore, it is recommended that MSME players such as Kopi Tempat Kamu Pulang can re-evaluate the determination of the cost of goods produced to ensure the sustainability and profitability of their business..

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of education level and training simultaneously on employee work discipline at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency, to determine the effect of education level on employee work discipline at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency and to determine the effect of training on employee work discipline at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency. This study was conducted at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency, while the object of this study was the level of education, and training and employee work discipline, with a total of 33 respondents. The results of the study showed that the level of education and employee training had a positive and significant effect on the variable of work discipline at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency. Then the results of the study also proved that partially the level of education had a positive and significant effect on the variable of employee work discipline of 0.180 at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency, and the training variable also had a positive and significant effect on the variable of employee work discipline of 0.190 at the Social and Manpower Office of Aceh Barat Daya Regency. After conducting this research, the Social and Manpower Service of Southwest Aceh Regency must be able to improve employee work discipline through the employee training program and should be a concern for the leadership, because in this research the education program has a significant effect on improving work discipline, so that work discipline becomes even better.

Abstract

The aim of the PTK research is to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the learning outcomes of class VII 3 students at SMP Negeri 10 Palembang on speaking material and presenting response texts. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class VII 3 students at SMP Negeri 10 Palembang due to the lack of interest and motivation to learn when students and educators still used conventional methods. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with two cycles. The stages of this research are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and tests. Data collection instruments include test question sheets, teaching modules and LKPD. The data analysis technique is in the form of analysis of student learning outcomes using scoring guidelines. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in the learning outcomes of class VII 3 students at SMP Negeri 10 Palembang in the material of speaking and presenting response texts from Cycle I to Cycle II with the percentage of Cycle I learning outcomes being only 16 students (44.4% ) who achieved learning completeness, while 20 students (55.6%) had not yet achieved learning completeness. In Cycle II there was an increase where 33 students (91.6%) achieved learning completeness, while 3 students (8.4%) had not yet achieved learning completeness.

Abstract

This study analyzes the coverage of the KFC brand in online media during the period of March-April 2023 and its impact on the brand's reputation. Using a literature study method and the Brand24 analytical tool, the study collected and analyzed data from various online news portals. The findings show that during this period, there were 885 mentions of KFC, with 87% positive sentiment and 13% negative sentiment. Positive coverage was mainly related to restaurant promotions, cooking recipes, and Ramadan sales ideas, which helped enhance brand image and awareness. Conversely, negative coverage was related to specific incidents that could affect public perception of the brand. This study highlights the importance of reputation management in the digital era and the significant impact of media coverage on brand image.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which is a sustainable agenda until 2030 with the aim of being able to improve the prosperity of the world community. The aim of this research is to determine publication trends, determine trends in terms in titles, and determine trends in terms used in abstracts of articles about SDGs using bibliometric analysis. The articles used were found with the help of Publish or Perish (PoP) with a database from Google Scholar. There were 389 articles out of 598 articles found from the Google Scholar database from 2021 to 2024 that were analyzed in this research. Selected articles are then managed using Mendeley software, after the database is managed, they are visualized using Vosviewer software. In this research, it was found that from 2021-2023 there was an increase in publications related to SDGs articles. The term that is often used in titles and abstracts is "SDGs".

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a deeper analysis of the constitutionality of the "Abstentions Movement" campaign in the Indonesian electoral process. Normative legal research method is employed, examining literature and secondary data concerning the constitution, democracy, and elections in Indonesia. The study positions the right to vote as a human right, and through the use of argumentum a contrario interpretation, it is found that abstaining from voting is also a right within democracy. There remains a misunderstanding regarding the Abstentions Movement, particularly in its association with democracy.

Abstract

The emergence of the Ijarah Muntahiya Bittamlik contract is also an innovation. However, it has also become a polemic because of the merger of contracts. In this article, the analysis of the Akad Ijarah Muntahiya Bittamlik is described from the Opinion of the Ulama with descriptive methods and normative juridical approaches, the author uses several literature sources, so that it can be categorized as library research. The results show that Islamic economic experts, both contemporary economic thinkers such as Adimarwan, Al-Mujamma' Al-Fiqhi, and classical scholars such as Hanabillah, Malikiyah, Shafi'iyah and Hanabalah, the law of the IMBT contract is mubah (permissible).

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) How the state civil apparatus performs in the social service and community empowerment of Gorontalo City, and (2) What factors determine the performance of the state civil apparatus in the Gorontalo City social and community empowerment service seen from several aspects ( a) Motivation Factor, (b) Ability Factor. This research method is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research results show that the performance of the State Civil Apparatus in the Gorontalo City Social and Community Empowerment Service is not yet optimal in terms of quality, quantity, implementation of duties and responsibilities. Quality of work that has not reached the desired standard, quantity of work that has not reached work targets due to differences between existing regulations and the situation in the field, lack of experience in carrying out tasks that are not optimal, lack of awareness about increasing initiative and concern in carrying out tasks causes responsibility does not reach the desired level. The factors that determine the performance of state civil servants in the Gorontalo City Social and Community Empowerment Service are motivation and ability. In this case, there are several state civil servants who depend on other people and lack the ability to manage risks in carrying out their work.

Abstract

In the last year, the change from the K13 curriculum to the Merdeka curriculum has been a long implementation process resulting in many obstacles. Both obstacles to students and obstacles to teachers. Based on this, this research was conducted with the aim of finding out teachers' strategies for dealing with this. The method used is a qualitative method by interviewing one of the sources by asking questions that have been prepared. The results of the interview show that teachers must be ready to face every change in the curriculum by improving their quality so that students' output is also of high quality. As a teacher, you must also learn how to create a pleasant learning atmosphere and create and apply learning media in every teaching material you bring, don't forget to also accompanied by the use of technology as a tool to assist the learning process.
