Abstract

The aim of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to recognize the systematically applied of the Cooperative Learning Model based NHT (Number Head Together) to increase the activities and the learning result of students in class X6 MAN 1 Makassar. There are four steps of CAR model such as (1) action planning, (2) implementation (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was held as many as two cycles. The data of this research result showed that, the learning with NHT model is able to increase the activities and the learning result of students in class X6 MAN 1 Makassar which is consist of 5 phase such as (1) Numbering phase, informing the aim, giving the perception, and motivating the students request. (2) Questioning phase and showing the information by explaining the available subject matter which is suitable with the learning indicators, (3) Head together phase was performed by providing the LKS and asking the students to answer the question together, (4) Answering phase was held by revealing the head number and asking the students to answer the question in the LKS which is suitable with group discussion result, (5) evaluation phase was held by proposing to the students to conclude the subject matter which was learned.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Question Student Have (QSH) dalam model pencapaian konsep terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Sinjai Timur. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Question Student Have (QSH) dalam model pencapaian konsep dan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi pokok kesetimbangan ion dalam larutan garam. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Sinjai Timur yang terdiri atas 3 kelas dengan siswa sebanyak 65 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 21 orang dan kelas XIPA3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 21 orang. Data hasil penelitian terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui posttest kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh thitung>ttabel ¬ yaitu 5.281>1.684 ang menunjukkan bahwa H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Question Student Have (QSH) dalam model pencapaian konsep berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMAN 1 Sinjai Timur pada materi pokok kesetimbangan ion dalam larutan garam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen Semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh integarasi metode diskusi Toulmin argumentation pada model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5E terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Desain penelitian adalah “Pretest Posttest Control Design”. Variabel bebas adalah integrasi Toulmin argumentation pada model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5E dan model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5E, dan variabel terikat adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis. Populasi adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Makassar yang bukan kelas akselerasi yang berjumlah 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purpossive random sampling. Sampel penelitian ada dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik masing-masing 33 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest berturut-turut pada kelas eksperimen adalah 23,48 dan 73,95 dengan rata-rata N-gain 0,655 (sedang). Sedangkan kelas kontrol 21,23 dan 59,85 dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,507 (Sedang). Ketuntasan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 39,39% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0% dengan nilai KKM adalah 79. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 5,6212 dan pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = 64 diperoleh ttabel = 2,0369. Oleh karana thitung > ttabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi metode Toulmin argumentation pada model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5E berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Makassar pada materi pokok zat aditif, zat adiktif, dan psikotropika.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode brainstorming dalam model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang pada materi larutan penyangga. Menggunakan desain yaitu Posttest only control group design. Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang yang tersebar dalam 6 kelas. Sampelnya adalah XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksprimen dan XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang ditetapkan secara random sampling. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen 81,01 lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol yaitu 74,38. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa data kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berasal dari populasi yang homogen, tetapi tidak terdistribusi normal sehingga dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode brainstorming dalam model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang pada materi larutan penyangga.

Abstract

The aim of this deskriptif research is to determine how Student’s Creative Thinking Skill by Using Problem Based Learning to Students of Class X3 SMAN 1 Watang Pulu in Material of Oxidation Reduction Reactions. This research is descriptive research that aims to describe the students ability of creative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration) in problem based learning, of redoks reaction as main topic. The research subjects are all students of Class X3 SMAN 1 Watang Pulu that consist of 32 students. The data was collected by observation sheet and giving 7 validated items of learning research test. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of analysis showed that the average value of creative thinking ability for fluency is 75,05% (good category), flexibility is 73,44% (good category), originality is 72,66% (good category), and elaboration is 75,78% (good category). The average value of four times meeting is 62,79% (good category). The student activity that good category same with the study result. This research showed that student ability of creative thinking in problem based learning on redoks reaction main topic was classified as good category.

Abstract

The research is quasi experiments that aim to know the influence of pre-quiz giving using NHT type cooperative learning model towards motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar. The independent variable are NHT type cooperative learning model with pre-quiz and without pre-quiz giving in cooperative learning model, and dependent variable are students’ motivation and achievement in chemical bonding main subject of learning. The population is whole student of X Grade SMAN 11 Makassar. The samples include two classes such as X2 as an experiment class with 36 students and X1 class as a control class with 34 students. The result of the research is obtained by giving motivation questionnaire and learning achievement test in chemical bonding subject which from as post-test and analyzed by using t-test. The result of inferential statistic analysis for learning motivation shows tcount (1,48) > ttable (1,828) at α= 0,05. And the result of inferential statistic for achievement test shows tcount (2,625) > ttable (1,674) at α= 0,05. According to the result of data analysis shows that pre-quiz in NHT type of cooperative learning model influences motivation and achievement of X grade student of SMAN 11 Makassar in main subject of chemical bonding.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the effectiveness of the Quizizz application on the direct instruction model to improve student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 11 Takalar on the subject matter of reaction rate. The Subject of this research is class XI MIPA 1 which consists of 20 students. The data obtained using the instrument of student learning outcomes. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained the average value before treatment was 23 and after treatment was 80,9. And the average value of N-Gain is 0,76 in the high category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Quizizz application in the direct instruction model is in the high category for improving student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 11 Takalar on the subject of reaction rates. Abstract

Kenyataan yang terjadi di lapangan menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar penguasaan siswa terhadap pelajaran kimia khususnya pada pokok bahasan Reaksi Redoks masih rendah, hal ini dikarenakan masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pelajaran kimia. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Reaksi Redoks di kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 6 Balikpapan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 6 Balikpapan tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 36 orang, yang terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 23 perempuan. Sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 6 Balikpapan khususnya pada pokok bahasan reaksi redoks. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri atas 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu, (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan atau observasi dan, (4) refleksi. Rata-rata hasil penelitian ini adalah pra siklus 56,39 siklus I 65,89, siklus II 73,40, dan siklus III 79, 47. Dengan ketuntasan siklus I 55 %, siklus II 69,44 %, siklus III 86,11 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah : penerapan metode pembelajaran Kooperatif Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan reaksi redoks dengan ditunjukan peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dari sebelum tindakan sampai siklus III sebesar 86,117% yang mana pada pratindakan 33,33% siklus 1 hanya 55,55% dan siklus II sebesar 69,44%.

Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) is intended to determine how to implement the step by step of Learning Together through Constructivist approach to improving student learning activities Class X IIS 5 SMA Negeri 1 Malili, Kab. Luwu Timur. Broadly speaking there are four stages in the PTK, namely (1) the action plan, (2) implementation (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted as much as two cycles. Data results showed that the learning Leaning Together with the constructivist approach can enhance students' learning activities Class X IIS 5 SMA Negeri 1 Malili, Kab. Luwu Timur which consists of 6 phases: (1) a preliminary phase by providing apersepsi of matter and learning objectives, (2) phase of presentation of the material with a general presentation of the learning material so that begs the question (to observe and ask), (3) the phase of discussion with directing students to find solutions to problems that have been presented on the basis of LKPD and textbooks (reasoning and collecting data), (4) the percentage of the group phase by providing the opportunity for students to present the results of their discussion (communicate), (5) the award phase to give praise and prizes for students and groups are viable and active during discussions and the percentage of the group to improve the students' enthusiasm for learning, and (6) phase concluded by describing the conclusions of the solution to the problem which is the basis of learning activities. The percentage of student activity increased by 28.20%. The average value of student learning outcomes, namely a percentage 85.24 with mastery learning outcomes increased by 59.52%.

Abstract

The research is a quasi-experiment aimed to know the effect of homework in problem Based learning on critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPA SMAN 2 Labakkang Boarding School. The population was class XI IPA SMAN 2 Labakkang Boarding School which consisted of forty two students. A random sampling technique was used assuming homogeneity of students ability. The class selected as a sample was class XI IPA Albathani as an experimental class which consisted of 21 students and XI IPA Alfarizi as a control class which consisted of 21 students. The independent variable in this research was homework in problem Based learning in the experimental class and problem based learning in control class, the dependent variable was student’s critical thinking skills on thermochemical topic. Data colletion technique was obtained from student’s critical thinking skills test on posttest, which consist of 6 items essay test. The data analysis technique used are descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The hypothesis test using t-test shows that tcalculated>ttable = 1,738 > 1,684 with α═ 0,05. So, I concluded homework in problem Based learning gave a postive effect critical thinking skillsof student in class XI IPA SMAN Labakkang Boarding School on thermochemicaltopic.
