Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the structure of Surah Al-Muzammil so that it can be seen whether the verses in it are coherent. This research method uses analysis, namely, to process data and answer research problems. The approach used in this literature research is Semitic Rhetorical Analysis (SRA) with descriptive analysis methods in data processing. The results of this research show that surah al-Muzammil is a text structure which is an application of SRA in surah al-Muzammil to produce a series consisting of 3 parts and 7 pieces which form a parallel concentric construction (A B/ x / A' B'). every piece and part have a relationship with other pieces and parts, so that every verse in surah al-Muzammil is interconnected. This finding was refuted by Richard Bell because each verse in surah al-Muzammil was able to be symmetrical with other verses from the lowest text level to the top text level, so this conclusion indicated that surah al-Muzammil was structured systematically and coherently.

Abstract

In-depth religious knowledge and an incomplete understanding of education will make a person not think logically, and be apathetic. Therefore, it is very important for a person to learn a thorough understanding of religion accompanied by a balanced education. This research aims to analyze the thought of KH Ahmad Dahlan and its implications for the development of education, morality and religion in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, namely collecting, processing, analyzing, and presenting data descriptively. The results of the study explain that religion and education must go hand in hand in order to achieve good akhlaq. KH. Ahmad Dahlan emphasized that Islamic education must be able to adapt to the needs of the times. Education is not only to fulfill spiritual needs but also physical, then KH. Ahmad Dahlan tried to combine religious education with general education.

Abstract

This research aims to comparatively analyze the presentation of Maryam’s story in Tafsir Ibn Kathir and the novel by Sibel Eraslan, identifying their similarities and differences. The methodology employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data analysis was conducted using comparative methods to evaluate the elements of characters, plot, setting, and narrative style. The findings indicate that Tafsir Ibn Kathir presents Maryam’s story based on authentic narrations with a scholarly approach emphasizing the accuracy of sources. Conversely, Sibel Eraslan’s novel incorporates fictional elements into the characters, plot, and setting, with a literary style aimed at evoking emotional responses from readers. Both share similarities in the core story of Maryam but differ in their narrative enrichments: Tafsir Ibn Kathir highlights scholarly and spiritual aspects, whereas Sibel Eraslan’s work offers emotional and aesthetic nuances. The implications of this study underscore the importance of understanding the boundaries between religious texts and creative interpretations in literary works. These findings contribute to the development of interdisciplinary studies between Qur'anic exegesis and contemporary literature, enriching the dialogue between scholarly traditions and creative arts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of women's educational rights, particularly in the context of religious education, through non-formal educational institutions such as Majelis Taklim and its impact on society in Indonesia. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach and applies triangulation techniques, involving the comparison of data from various sources, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted at two Majelis Taklim: Majelis Taklim Al-Ukhuwah in Depok, West Java, and Majelis Taklim Ainul Yaqin in Cilegon, Banten. The findings reveal that Majelis Taklim, as a non-formal educational institution, contributes significantly to supporting the fulfillment of women's educational rights. This contribution is not limited to religious education but also includes broader areas of knowledge, such as psychology, life skills, and social activities.

Abstract

هذه المقالة تسلط الضوء على كيفية تطبيق الشيخ محمد بن عمر نووي الجاوي، وهو عالم من علماء نوسانتارا، قواعد أصول الفقه في تفسيره المسمّى بمراح لبيد لكشف معنى القرآن المجيد. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف وتحليل المنهج الذي استخدمه الشيخ نووي في تفسير آيات القرآن الكريم، خصوصاً الآيات المتعلقة بالأحكام، باستخدام منهج قواعد أصول الفقه. على الرغم من أن الشيخ نووي لم يكتب عملاً خاصاً في أصول الفقه، إلا أن تفسيره مليء بالقواعد التفسيرية العميقة. وتبين الدراسة أن الشيخ اعتمد على الأدلة الشرعية التي تشمل القرآن، والسنة، والإجماع، والقياس. بُنيت هذه القواعد على ثلاثة أركان رئيسية وهي قواعد أصولية لغوية و مقاصد التشريع العامة، و بالإضافة إلى قواعد الاستدلال التي تشمل ثلاثة مبادئ رئيسية وهي: طريقة الجمع والنسخ والترجيح.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of the Quran on inherent parenting in improving the quality of children's education. The research method used is library research, with data collection from various literatures such as books, journals, magazines, and related documentation. The results showed that embedded parenting, which emphasizes emotional closeness and consistent support from parents, proved effective in improving the quality of children's education. Attachment parenting contributes to children's cognitive, social and emotional development as shown through better academic achievement, improved social skills and better emotional stability. The importance of Qur'anic Values in embedded parenting such as tawhid, respect for parents, responsibility, discipline and social care contribute to children's affective, cognitive and psychomotor development. Parenting that reinforces these values supports the formation of quality character. By strengthening embedded parenting and integrating Qur'anic values, we can build a quality next generation and improve the future of children's education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the curriculum development model at Sekolah Alam. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection consists of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Sekolah Alam Bandung has a unique curriculum development model based on student psychology. At the secondary school level, the curriculum is developed through the integration of the basic curriculum and the Lifeskill Curriculum in a 50:50 ratio. The Basic Curriculum provides preparation for higher education, covering core subjects for university entrance exams (PTN/PTS) and the SAT, using national education standards. The Lifeskill Curriculum is designed to prepare students for direct entry into the business or professional world, covering basic professional training from technical operator levels to managers and entrepreneurs. The methods of achievement include internships, business learning together, learning from masters, business outings, and other methods. The mandatory business fields that every student must go through are Business with an environmental perspective ‘Biotechnology’, future business tools ‘Information and Technology Information’, and commerce ‘Retail and Distribution’.

Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate the validity of Islamic law for all times and places, and to demonstrate the importance of having a guardian who is concerned with managing the affairs of the country, and supervising them in various aspects, and the keenness of Islamic law to preserve human life.I relied in writing this research on the inductive and analytical approach: by inducting and analyzing the legal texts in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and explaining the legal approach to achieving food security.The researcher concluded that Islamic law is capable of addressing the food security crisis, through the management and organization of the guardian of the country’s affairs, and its approach to achieving food security, as work is sacred in Islam, and striving for a livelihood is worship, and the legitimacy of zakat and charity, and the prohibition of usury, monopoly, and everything that may harm society.The researcher recommended that the guardian should personally supervise the achievement of food security, due to its importance in the stability of society, and that there should be special funds to support this sector.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of prayer reminder applications on worship discipline and spiritual focus (khusyuk) among Muslim university students in Bandung, Indonesia. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of such apps in enhancing prayer punctuality and spiritual engagement. Using a quantitative explanatory method, data were gathered from 33 users of apps like Muslim Pro and Al-Quran Indonesia. Results show significant improvement in prayer timeliness (mean: 4.1/5) though the improvement in khusyu’ was more modest (mean: 3.0/5). Key obstacles include poor internet (35%), app errors (30%), and inconsistent alerts (25%). The findings suggest that while digital nudges improve external discipline, they are less effective in fostering inner devotion. This study’s novelty lies in its integration of behavioral nudging with Islamic educational values. It recommends features like offline access and reflective prompts to support both compliance and spiritual depth. These insights offer implications for Islamic app developers and educators aiming to enhance faith-tech experiences.

Abstract

This paper titled “The influence of Arabic literature and jurisprudence in a contemporary period” shall focus on Arabic literature and his influence, Arabic literature has been categorized into two categories, prose and poetry. On the other hand it has been categorized into different categories; we have Arabic literature in pre-Islamic era, with promise poets like Imru-kais, Antara bn shidad, Zuhair bn Abi Salm and Labied etc. Arabic literature in Islamic period with prominent poets like Khansa, Hassan Bn Thabiti. The aims and objectives of this article is to create an awareness  to the society about the significance of Arabic literature and jurisprudence, to encourage students to put more efforts in them to know about Arabic literature and jurisprudence in the area of their studies and to create an awareness to the community about the relevance of  Arabic literature and jurisprudence in contemporary period The problem of this paper is that many people or students are running away from Arabic literature and Jurisprudence, people don’t want to read Arabic literature because of poetry, Jurist also help us to understand Islamic law which enables us to understand about Shariah-law. Finding people are not ready to practice Shariah law in Nigeria suggestions and recommendations is that Nigerian government should try and enact Shariah law so that Muslims should be able to practice their Shariah law accordingly. Finally, the researcher used an analytical methodology.
