Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic hit almost all parts of the world, including Indonesia. It has been almost two years since the pandemic hit and has had an impact on various sectors including education. During the pandemic, learning was carried out online and felt less effective. Various government efforts have been made for faster recovery, especially in education. One of the government's efforts is through the KDS program (Lecturer-Teacher Partnership in Schools) through Lesson Study activities. This study aims to see the implementation of Lesson Study carried out together with junior high school teachers in partner schools. Through KDS (Lecturer-Teacher Partnership in School) activities by implementing Lesson study, compiling and implementing differentiated learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were students of SMP. Lesson Study stages, namely planning (Plan), implementation (Do), reflection (See) which are carried out with lecturers as facilitators and teachers in partner schools as model teachers and observers have been carried out properly in accordance with Lesson Study guidelines and the learning objectives can be achieved planned. The results of research conducted through Lesson Study conducted with teachers in schools by implementing differentiated learning of student learning outcomes are mostly complete

Abstract

Discovery Learning is a learning model that changes learning from teacher-centred learning to student-centred learning so that students learn actively by discovering themselves, investigating themselves and cultivating a scientific attitude. The purpose of this research is to discover the research focus related to Discovery Learning in learning mathematics and its novelty. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The data taken comes from the Scopus database. The study results show increased publications related to Discovery Learning in mathematics learning from 2017 to 2023. The highest citation trend occurred in the 2017 publication, which has been cited 41 times. The country that has had a major impact on Discovery Learning research in mathematics learning is Indonesia. The research focus is divided into three parts, namely, 1) Discovery Learning, Mathematics Learning and student; 2) problem-solving and Indonesia; 3) junior high school and Geometry. New themes in this field are e-learning, teaching and learning, mathematical software, pre-service teachers, and technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif siswa MTs. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan tes gaya kognitif (GEFT) yaitu 2 siswa dengan Field Dependent, dan 2 siswa dengan Field Independent kelas VII di Mts Barokatul Qodiri. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu tes gaya kognitif (GEFT), tes pemecahan masalah, dan pedoman wawancara. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber yaitu membandingkan hasil informasi yang diperoleh melalui sumber yang berbeda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent tidak mampu menerapkan prosedur yang sesuai dengan benar dan cenderung memiliki kesulitan dalam memahami masalah, mengalami kesulitan dalam menerjemahkan masalah, mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan strategi. Sedangkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent mampu menerapkan prosedur yang sesuai dengan benar dan tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami masalah, menerjemahkan masalah, dan menentukan strategi.

Abstract

Beberapa siswa tidak dapat memenuhi indikator berpikir kreatif berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran gender dalam proses pemecahan masalah kreatif siswa, dengan fokus pada pendidikan matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. untuk penelitian ini berdasarkan peringkat mereka dalam tiga kategori yang mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mereka: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, instrumen, dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan datanya. Analisis data berdasarkan nilai tes siswa, percakapan, dan kertas kerja yang dinilai dengan menggunakan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi juga memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang tinggi, siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi yang juga pemikir kreatif, dan siswa dengan kemampuan matematika rata-rata yang juga pemikir kreatif semuanya memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif di atas rata-rata. Ketika membandingkan siswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin, skor berpikir kreatif matematis siswa perempuan lebih tinggi (47,62%) daripada siswa laki-laki (37,50%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa perempuan di SMP Mathla'un Nur memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika yang lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan siswa laki-laki

Abstract

Problems that occur in mathematics learning are essential to pay attention to. Problems in mathematics learning are problems that must be resolved with the right solution. This research aims to conduct a literature review on mathematics learning problems in schools. The method used in the study is a literature review. The sample used is the research results related to mathematics learning problems at the elementary, junior high, high, and college levels from student and teacher factors. Data was collected by collecting all published articles from the latest year according to educational level. Then, analysis and conclusions are drawn based on the data obtained. The research results show that the problems found at each station are different. So, the solution used must be the problems faced.

Abstract

The team quiz learning method is tested to see if it improves math learning for Mts Tri Bakti Al-Ikhlas Seputih Agung pupils. This research uses quantitative quasi-experimental methods. This study included Mts Tri Bakti Al-Ikhlas Seputih Agung class VII pupils. For this study, class VIIA was experimental, and class VIIB was control. The practical and control classes each have 20 students. Students took multiple-choice pretests and posttests in this study. This study processed data using normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. Data processing showed that the experimental class posttest> control class posttest (0.539> 0.149), indicating that the team quiz learning method had an impact on class VII mathematics learning at Mts Tri Bakti Al-Sincere Bumi Mas Seputih Agung.

Abstract

Assessment activities are crucial to measuring learning success in the school system. Assessment can be used to improve education where teachers incorporate Islamic beliefs. This study explains how to create a religiously-integrated mathematical communication skills test. This is ADDIE model development research. The research was tested at a Tulungagung Madrasah Aliyah. The data-gathering method solves ten inverse function math questions using a description test. Data analysis uses strength, reliability, validity, and difficulty. This study found that the social essay exam instrument analyses high school students' mathematics communication skills and Islamic beliefs, with 7 items valid and reliable and 3 items removed. This study found that the Islamic integrated mathematical communication ability test is valid, reliable, discriminatory, and somewhat demanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan kesulitan yang terjadi pada siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi teorema phytagoras., ditinjau dari lingkungan belajar yaitu sekolah berbasis pondok pesantren. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelitian 3 orang dari 35 siswa di kelas VIII SMP Ma’arif Ansoru Al-Hasaniyah, dimana 3 subjek terpilih, menjadi sampel dari proses pengumpulan data-data terkait dengan penelitian yang terkait, dengan melalui wawancara, tes soal, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kesulitan belajar matematika pada materi teorema phytagoras di sekolah berbasis pondok pesantren adalah kurangnya minat belajar siswa dan cendereng lebih bersifat acuh, tidak bersemangat dan tidak fokus, sehingga masih ada siswa yang belum faham dan bisa mengerjakan soal yang terkait teorema phytagoras.

Abstract

Salah satu bidang yang mempelajari bagaimana orang-orang dari keberagaman budaya memahami dan menggunakan konsep-konsep matematika adalah ilmu etno-matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendemonstrasikan penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis etnomatematika pada seni rebana. Satu satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang eksis dikalangan siswa. penelitian ini menggunakan metode adalah survei lapangan kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil akhir riset ini membuktikan bahwa pengamplikasian pendidikan..matematika realistik berdasar etno-matematika dapat memotivasi pelajar untuk belajar dan menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal. Hal ini memungkinkan siswa untuk menjadi akrab dengan budaya lokal, melestarikan dan terhubung dengan matematika. Dengan pokok bahasan pembelajaran bangun ruang.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain objective information and examine differences in the abilities of reasoning mathematical students who study with method learning differentiate assistance with RME-based matrix teaching materials from students who use conventional methods. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods pseudo (quasi-experiment) with type non-equivalent control groups design. The study was carried out in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in the mathematics subject matrix material. The subjects in the research involved students of class XI APHP at SMK Negeri 2 Metro Lampung consisting of class XI APHP 1 as the experimental class and XI APHP 2 as the control class. In the study, the data collected used test beginning (pretest) and the final (posttest) given to the experimental style, and the control class consisted of 4 essay questions. The statistical data obtained were normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests, which were processed using the SPSS 16.0 program. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value (2- 2-tailed) was obtained of 0.000. Therefore, the significance value was <0.05, so it can be concluded that the results of this research show that there is an influence of differentiated learning assisted by RME-based matrix teaching materials on mathematical reasoning abilities. class XI APHP student at SMK Negeri 2 Metro Lampung.
