Abstract

This study discusses how a sustainable ecotourism development strategy in Gunung Jae Tourism, Sedau Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. The problem in this study is about the development of Gunung Jae Tourism in Sedau Narmada Village which has an impact on the residents there how to take advantage of the presence of this Gunung Jae Tourism. The purpose of this research is to find out how the sustainable ecotourism development strategy in Gunung Jae Tourism, Sedau Village, Narmada. The theory used in this research is Social Capital Theory. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of determining informants uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The result of this study is the development of ecotourism on Mount Jae which has been carried out by the tourism manager has succeeded in increasing the income of the community in Sedau village, so that it can be one of the factors tha Gunung Jae tourism can be developed sustainably.

Abstract

This study employs a quantitative descriptive method. The research population is the 2023/2024 academic year students of SMK N 3 Surakarta, totaling 450 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling with 45 students as the sample. The data collection method utilizes questionnaires. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression and analysis prerequisites, including normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests. The research findings are as follows: A significant influence of parents' socioeconomic status on the interest in continuing studies to higher education was found. A significant influence of learning motivation on the interest in continuing studies to higher education was found. A positive and significant combined influence of parents' socioeconomic status and learning motivation on the interest in continuing studies to higher education was established. This was supported by the finding that F counting (calculated F-value) = 11.891 > F tabel (tabled F-value) = 3.32, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This result indicates that the higher the parents' socioeconomic status and learning motivation simultaneously, the higher the interest of SMK N 3 Surakarta students in continuing their studies to higher education.

Abstract

This article discusses Islamic education policies in Indonesia during the pre-independence period with a specific focus on pesantrens as centers of education and resistance against colonialism. Dutch colonial government policies tended to neglect and suppress Islamic education, which motivated pesantrens to uphold their existence. Pesantrens not only taught religious knowledge but also general sciences, shaping national character and identity, and producing many national movement figures. The article also explores the history of pesantrens, their contribution to the independence struggle, and their conditions under Dutch and Japanese occupations. Despite facing various challenges and pressures, pesantrens remained independent educational institutions that significantly contributed to shaping a nationalist and religiously-minded younger generation.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the cultivation of religious character and discipline is very important for guiding children's lives in the future and for preparing students to enter the next level. The two character inculcations in question at SDN 02 Penanggungan have a very close relationship and are mutually beneficial for students at SDN 02 Penanggungan who have succeeded in instilling these two characters. However, there are still obstacles in instilling this religious and disciplined character. Therefore, it is important to look for methods that can help students to implement more religious and disciplined characters in this school. Because these two characters can make students have a religious and polite nature in carrying out their lives every day. The purpose of this research is how the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers is in instilling this religious character and discipline well and being implemented by students. Because the character possessed by students at SDN 02 Penanggungan, including going to school in the middle of the village, is still very lacking. And it is hoped that with the role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher, students will have and be able to change their character for the better. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. A qualitative approach is research that is used to understand social phenomena or the behavior of the participants or subjects being researched. This approach focuses on collecting data to gain detailed insight into the problems that will be researched through interview, observation and document methods. The observation method is an investigation or data collection carried out deliberately by researchers by visiting the observation site directly in a systematic manner using the senses to obtain information. Interviews are a way of collecting data by holding questions and answers with people who can provide information. The documentation method is a data collection technique by collecting and analyzing documents, both written, image and electronic documents. The results of this research are focused on cultivating religious and disciplined characters in students. This research will involve Islamic Religious Education teachers, especially teachers of other subjects, parents and students. This research will include the process of cultivating good character and measuring methods for instilling this character, students can easily apply and accept several processes to achieve the goals that teachers and students will achieve in advancing the SDN 02 Penanggungan school.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out: 1) Children’s learning motivation strategies for successful learning at al-Madina Middle School, Wonosobo, 2) To find out the role of motivation in children’s learning success at Al-Madina Middle School Wonosobo, 3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors.Learning motivation on children’s learning success at Al-Madina Middle School, Wonosobo. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is: Milles Huberman data analysis and triangulation. The results of the research show that: 1) The strategy to increase learning motivation in learning activities at Al-Madina Middle School, Wonosobois an effort to increase student learning motivation in learning activities in order to improve student learning achievement, 2) Form the role of motivation in children’s learning success at Al-Madina Middle School Wonosobo, namely: improving the student understanding process, and increasing student motivation. Enable students to be creative and take initiative in their learning, 3) The role of motivation in children’s learning achievement at Al-Madina Middle School includes inhibiting and supporting factors, including: Inhibiting factors, namely student health, student psychology, sense of learning,learning technology, infrastructure, parental or family factors and student interest in learning. The supporting factors are fun media and teaching methods and teaching and learning supporting activities.

Abstract

Kamaboko is a processed fish product from Japan which is in gel form, is chewy and elastic (Ilma et al, 2019). Kamaboko itself is a dish made from fish that is specially processed to produce a chewy texture and delicious taste. The process of making kamaboko involves selecting high quality fish, grinding the fish meat, mixing it with certain additional ingredients, and cooking using the steam or steam method. African catfish is a type of freshwater fish that is widely cultivated by the community. Catfish is a source of animal protein that is affordable and has high nutritional content with a protein content of 18.7% (Djonu, Nursyam et al., 2022). Compared with the protein value of cod surimi, 100g of cod surimi produces 18g or around 18% protein. Meanwhile, 100g of haddock fish surimi contains 20g or around 18% protein. After carrying out these two test stages, the results of the organoleptic test on consumer acceptability were calculated through hypothesis testing using the Friedman test. If the results of the Friedman test state that it rejects H0, which means it accepts H1, then the Tuckey test calculation will continue to determine the best group from the three treatments. To test physical quality, use the ANOVA test. If the results of the anova test state that it rejects H0, which means it accepts H1, then it will continue with the Duncaan test calculation to determine the best group from the three treatments. The results of this research were obtained in two stages. The first stage was a validation test carried out on 5 expert panelists, namely lecturers from the Culinary Education Study Program and continued with the second stage, namely an organoleptic test on consumer acceptability carried out on 30 somewhat trained panelists who were Pend students. Abstract

The skill of listening to the meaning and function behind speech is sometimes difficult for some people. This thesis analyzes discourse markers in the teaching and learning process using a discourse marker approach. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the listening learning model in improving student learning outcomes in each cycle, and to determine student learning motivation in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mojotengah. The research method uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this research are 32 students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Mojotengah. The data collection uses in this research is quantative data. Quantative data takes the form of observation sheets, interviews, tests and documentation. The results obtained from this research include: 1) the application of the discourse model can improve students' listening skills, 2) student learning outcomes in each cycle have increased above the KKM, namely 75, after the discourse marker learning model was implemented. The average student learning outcome in the pre-cycle was 64 with a percentage of 53% (low), then cycle I obtained an average score of 71.88 with a presentation of 59% (medium), but it was still below standard so it continued in cycle II and experienced an increase with an average value of 88.75 with a percentage of 88% (high). This shows an increase from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to identify strategies for improving the quality of educator performance at MI Ma'arif Kaliwiro, Kaliwiro District, Wonosobo Regency. Focusing on academic and moral aspects as part of the educational vision, this research evaluates the professionalism and effectiveness of the performance of educators at this institution until the 2023/2024 academic year. Qualitative methods are used to collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that there are several problems such as lack of discipline, professionalism and effectiveness of teacher performance, which are caused by various factors including leadership, infrastructure and teacher welfare. The proposed strategies include classroom supervision, increasing discipline, motivation, rewards, training, collaboration with other schools, and improving infrastructure. This research emphasizes the need for a comprehensive and sustainable approach to improving the quality of educator performance in order to achieve the expected educational goals..

Abstract

The research entitled "Computer Laboratory Management TKJ Department at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School" aims to produce and increase the efficiency of computer laboratory management in schools. This research is to fulfill the need for a comprehensive evaluation of the laboratory management system, identify existing problems, and find solutions to improve performance and effective use of laboratory facilities. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews with the school head, head of infrastructure, head of curriculum, head of laboratories and teachers, as well as analysis of documents related to the PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School. The research results show that the management of the computer laboratory at the PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School still faces several challenges, such as unscheduled hardware maintenance, limited access to the latest software, and budget planning that is not always adequate. However, the school has implemented several strategies, such as a regular maintenance schedule and collaboration with external parties for technology updates. Based on these findings, recommendations are provided to improve computer laboratory management. It is hoped that the implications of this research can make a positive contribution to curriculum development and resource management at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of gadget use on the sympathy and empathy attitudes of students at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Madani Yogyakarta. The background of this study is rooted in the widespread use of gadgets among students, which affects social interactions and the ability to understand others' feelings. The research method employed is literature review, gathering data from various literary sources such as books, academic journals, and research reports. Findings indicate that excessive gadget use reduces face-to-face interactions, hindering the development of sympathy and empathy among students. Those who communicate more through social media tend to be less aware of their surroundings and struggle to understand and feel others' emotions. The implications underscore the importance of raising awareness about the negative impacts of gadgets and regulating non-academic gadget use. Encouraging more direct interactions and providing social skills training can help students develop better sympathy and empathy attitudes, thereby maintaining the quality of their social relationships in the digital age.
