Abstract

This research aims to map the effectiveness of algorithms in digital content strategy across different industries and platforms through a systematic literature review of 50 selected articles published between 2016-2025. The focus of the review includes algorithmic personalisation, consumer engagement, ethical considerations, and recent technology trends. The results of the thematic analysis show that AI-based personalisation-through recommendation engines, predictive analytics, and generative AI-consistently improves content relevance, engagement, retention, conversion, and brand loyalty in sectors such as e-commerce, social media, and luxury branding. However, issues of privacy, algorithmic transparency, bias and the risk of content homogeneity remain significant challenges affecting user trust. Variations in effectiveness across industries and platforms indicate the need to customise strategies based on cultural context, demographic and technical characteristics of the platform. New trends such as influencer integration, real-time adaptive marketing and generative AI-based content show great potential, but require ethical governance and rigorous empirical testing. This study confirms the importance of balancing the benefits of algorithmic personalisation with privacy protection, content diversity and transparency to ensure the sustainability of digital marketing strategies in a dynamic ecosystem

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on dividend policy in the Indonesian banking sector, with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as a moderating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) on secondary data derived from the annual financial reports of ten banks with the highest dividend ratios listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2023–2024. The findings indicate that profitability, liquidity, and leverage do not have a significant influence on dividend policy. Moreover, GCG does not exhibit a moderating effect on the relationship between the independent variables and dividend policy. These results highlight that dividend policy in Indonesian banks is more strongly determined by industrial regulations, expansion strategies, and macroeconomic conditions rather than internal financial indicators. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence from the banking sector in emerging markets and offers practical insights for policymakers, investors, and corporate managers in formulating dividend distribution strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development of research on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and profitability conducted by Indonesian scholars during the 2010–2025 period using a bibliometric analysis approach based on Scopus data. A total of 84 articles were examined to identify publication trends, author productivity, and main research themes. The results indicate a significant increase in publications since 2016, peaking in 2020. The most influential authors include Maya Novitasari, Ardi Gunardi, and Veronica Siregar. The dominant research themes focus on the relationship between CSR and profitability, corporate governance, and sustainability. This study confirms that CSR is viewed not merely as a moral obligation but as a sustainable business strategy. However, research collaboration among Indonesian authors remains limited and should be expanded to strengthen Indonesia’s academic contribution to global CSR literature.

Abstract

The dividend irrelevance theory proposed by Miller and Modigliani suggests that dividend policy does not affect firm value in a perfect market with no transaction costs and taxes. However, this theory has been widely debated in empirical research, with mixed results across different stock markets. This article aims to test the validity of the dividend irrelevance theory in Indonesia by examining companies listed on the LQ45 index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023. The methodology includes analyzing stock prices before and after dividend announcements, considering the impact of transaction costs and taxes. The findings indicate that the dividend irrelevance theory does not fully apply in Indonesia, as significant differences were observed between stock prices before and after dividend announcements. This suggests that dividend policy remains relevant for investors in the Indonesian stock market.

This research discusses the implementation of the People's Palm Oil Replanting (PSR) program implemented by the Indonesian government as an effort to increase the productivity and welfare of oil palm farmers, especially in areas with unproductive oil palm plantations. This program provides financial assistance of IDR 30 million per hectare which is used to replace old oil palm plants with superior seeds that are more productive. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research type. Primary sources focused on the Jaya Usaha Sempurna Producer Cooperative located in Mega Timur Village, Sui Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, which is one of the legal farmer groups that received the assistance. This study aims to evaluate the PSR grant scheme received by the cooperative, analyze its impact on oil palm productivity, and identify challenges faced in implementing the program. The methodology used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies related to the PSR program. This study concludes that although the PSR program has shown positive results, improvements are still needed in the aspects of administration, extension, and coordination between related parties to optimize the benefits of the program for smallholder oil palm farmers

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of online trade through e-commerce and social commerce (s-commerce) on community empowerment and economic growth in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and users of e-commerce and s-commerce platforms. Meanwhile, secondary data was collected from various relevant reports, publications and studies on the digital economy in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using a thematic approach to identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities in online trading activities. The results show that e-commerce and s-commerce contribute significantly to community empowerment through increased access to global markets, creation of new business opportunities, and increased income for SMEs. In addition, online commerce promotes economic inclusion by giving previously marginalized groups the opportunity to participate in the digital economy. However, challenges include limited internet access in remote areas, low digital literacy, data security risks, and digital inequality between regions. The implications of this research underscore the importance of policy interventions, such as equitable digital infrastructure development, digital skills training programs, and personal data protection, to ensure the sustainability and equitable distribution of digital economy benefits. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of online commerce in Indonesia and offers recommendations for inclusive digital economy development.

Abstract

Advancements in the field of communication and information technology have an impact on the economic sector. This is evidenced by the increasing number of online shopping centers offering a variety of products. As the number of online stores grows, it encourages society to shop freely. The decision to make a purchase lies with the consumer, who will determine the criteria for purchasing a particular product. Consumers will naturally choose products that are of good quality and offered at a lower price. Consumption behavior is no longer about fulfilling needs but merely about satisfying desires. Consumptive behavior in society, where goods or products are purchased without careful consideration and are driven solely by emotional impulses (desires), is known as impulsive buying. Therefore, the aim of this research is to explain how the price and quality of products influence impulsive buying behavior in online shopping and how Islamic economics views impulsive buying behavior. A quantitative research design was used as the main method, with a sample of 80 respondents from Kalurahan Gombang, internet users, specifically those who have made online transactions or shopping. Based on the data analysis results, it was found that the variables of price and product quality have an influence on impulsive buying in online shopping, and Islamic economics views impulsive behavior as prohibited because it is considered wasteful.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development of Cross-Border Tourism in the Indonesia-Malaysia border region in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, in the perspective of Islamic Economics. The study focuses on the development patterns, opportunities, and challenges faced in the management of cross-border tourism. This research is descriptive qualitative with normative, conceptual, and comparative approaches, involving an analysis of the provisions of the Qur'an, Hadith, tourism theory, as well as a comparison of Cross-Border Tourism models. The results show that the development of cross-border tourism in Sambas Regency has significant potential in increasing tourist attraction and strengthening cross-border economic relations. The implementation of sharia principles, such as the provision of a Muslim-friendly environment, adequate access to worship, halal products, and sharia-based services, is an important factor in optimizing this potential. Despite the great opportunities, the main challenges include sub-optimal infrastructure, cross-border regulations, and synergy between stakeholders. Therefore, a sharia-based development strategy is needed to create sustainable and competitive tourism, while supporting inclusive regional economic development.
