<![CDATA[Of the many problems that arise in Christian circles, philosophy and theology are often the subject of serious discussion among theologians. It's not just theologians who debate this, but lay people also debate it. Because if we talk about philosophy and theology, it is clear that there are pros and there are also cons. Philosophy and Theology are two very important sciences that must be studied in human life. There are those who ignore one of the two and there are also those who accept both as good knowledge that will bring a change in human life. The problem in human life is the assumption that the two contradict each other. But the question is; Is it true that philosophy and theology contradict each other? and if it is true that the two contradict each other, is it necessary to ignore one of the two? Everyone has the right to study or not study one of the two. However, the problem is if you make a statement that the two contradict each other but there is no data to support what you say, that is the problem. It is important to know that all sciences have their own advantages, so by knowing that it is clear that there is no reason to make unfavorable statements that turn off other people's interest in studying both. This article focuses on discussing issues surrounding philosophy and theology in Christian circles using data analysis. With the existing data, we will discuss the reasons why people are not interested in studying philosophy. The author's hope is to change the mindset of people who always make statements that philosophy and theology contradict each other. So the fundamental hope of the author is to have openness in all knowledge without any neglect by saying that it is not good in my life as a Christian.]]>

<![CDATA[When entering the realm of philosophy, logical reasoning and truth become the main foundation for critical and deep thinking. This article offers a comprehensive overview of the role and implications of both concepts in the context of philosophy. The purpose of this study is to explore the depth of the concepts of logical reasoning and truth, and identify their impact on human thought. The method applied in this study is a qualitative approach; this approach involves the systematic analysis of a wide range of literature; including the Bible, articles, books, and other sources relevant to the topic under investigation. According to Wiley, qualitative research involves the collection of actual data from a wide range of scholarly literature; which includes facts from the past and present. The scope of the study includes an exploration of different types of logical argumentation, such as deduction and induction, as well as a discussion of the nature of truth, both in absolute and relative contexts. The results highlight the importance of a deep understanding of logical reasoning in constructing strong arguments, while also illustrating the philosophical implications of the concept of truth for human views of reality. By delving deeper into these two concepts, this research provides a valuable contribution to the development of philosophical discourse and guides us towards more critical, systematic, and fact-based thinking in facing the challenges of contemporary and future thinking.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the existence of an organization that does not accept or reject ulos in Toba Batak traditional activities, namely the Jehovah's Witnesses Tarutung congregation, where most of its members are people from the Toba Batak tribe. Jehovah's Witnesses in the Tarutung congregation have a different view from the non-Jehovah's Witness Toba Batak community regarding ulos. The aim of this research is to find out how Jehovah's Witnesses in the Tarutung congregation perceive the giving of ulos in Toba Batak traditional activities in Tarutung. This research uses a qualitative research method with the research approach used, namely the ethnographic research method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that Jehovah's Witnesses from the Tarutung congregation do not accept ulos in Toba Batak traditional activities because they view ulos as containing spiritual values that can bless human life and this is contrary to Biblical principles. However, Jehovah's Witnesses can receive or give ulos if it is simply given as a gift without having to give it in a manner that is in accordance with Batak customs. Jehovah's Witnesses in the Tarutung congregation have a good relationship with the community who receive ulos in Toba Batak traditional activities in Tarutung.]]>

<![CDATA[The scientific paper with the title arranging the song I want to follow Jesus in the quarted band ensemble playing in the GPdI Agave Bangun Service is research that discusses how to apply the branch of arrangement, namely reharmonization, to the composition I want to follow Jesus. This research uses qualitative research methods using observation, interviews and documentation. Arrangement comes from the Dutch word Arrangement, which means adjusting a musical composition to the number of singers' voices or musical instruments based on an existing composition so that the essence of the music does not change. The arrangements influence the formation of the rhythm and harmony produced by the quarted band ensemble at GPdI Agave Bangun. The results of the research show that the problem of this research is that the drum and bass, which are the main components in the quarted band ensemble, are out of sync between the two instruments which will affect the quality of the arrangement. The piano is often melodic but can also be an accompaniment instrument, the piano playing pattern becomes a rhythmic fulcrum that will change the character and dynamics of the song. Reharmonization of the piano chords is the main reason the writer arranged the song I want to follow Jesus by changing the character of the song from sad to straightforward. Substitution chord theory, voicing and slash chord techniques are the main ingredients for researchers in composing. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research, with the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The final result of this research is as reference material for church musicians to increase their repertoire of playing variations to accompany worship in the church.]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the personality competence of PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the personality competence of PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 212 people. Random sampling was taken, namely 20% of the total population, namely 42 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value rcount=0.489>rtabel=0.304 and tcount=3.546>ttable=2.021 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the personality competence of PAK teachers and the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. . b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the influence was 23.91%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=12.566>Ftable=3.23, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the personality competence of PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year.]]>

<![CDATA[Mission is the Great Commission that must be carried out by the church with true enthusiasm and sincerity. However, this part is sometimes not realized consistently within the church due to various problems and obstacles that occur in church institutions. Therefore, it is very important that the mission be carried out properly and spread to all existing groups. Thus, the aim of this article is to provide important points that must be carried out by the church in realizing God's mission in the world so that the church can grow and be consistent in carrying out the mission or Great Commission that has been commanded in Matthew 28:19-20. The method used in this paper is a descriptive qualitative method with an approach to library data sourced from books, Bibles, journals and other online media, then analyzing these sources and drawing conclusions. The result of this article is that the church has important points as an effort to overcome various challenges or problems in mission activities so that the church can maximize the realization of the great commission contained in Matthew 28:19-20 and the church grows healthily and consistently to carry out its responsibility, namely spreading good news for everyone. ]]>

<![CDATA[Artikel ini bertujuan membahas tentang pentingnya model pengajaran dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan melalui analisis terhadap model pengajaran yang digunakan oleh Yesus Kristus dengan pola perumpamaan. Model pengajaran merupakan konsep yang digunakan dalam merancang proses pembelajaran, dan memainkan peran kunci dalam membangun dan meningkatkan kemanusiaan. Penting bagi seorang guru untuk memilih metode pengajaran yang tepat guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang rancangkan, termasuk menggunakan pola perumpamaan dalam mengajar seperti yang dicontohkan Tuhan Yesus Kristus dalam pengajaran-Nya untuk menyampaikan kebenaran Firman bagi banyak orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka yang ketika dianalisis secara reduktif mengungkapkan hasil bahwa perumpamaan sebagai cerita pendek yang mengandung makna dalam dan digunakan oleh Yesus untuk menjelaskan prinsip-prinsip spiritual secara tidak langsung bagi pengikut-Nya. Pola perumpamaan juga dapat digunakan oleh guru Kristen ketika menjelaskan materi di dalam kelas. Pembahasan juga menganalisis tentang jenis-jenis perumpamaan yang digunakan oleh Yesus, dan relevansinya dalam pengajaran modern, selain itu model pengajaran dengan pola perumpamaan telah menjadi inspirasi bagi guru-guru Kristen dalam mengembangkan strategi pengajaran yang efektif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan.]]>
