Abstract

This research examines the analysis of environmental ecotheology from an Islamic perspective based on Ustadz Adi Hidayat's YouTube lectures and its implications for learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The present The study adopts a qualitative approach through library research approach type, with primary data presented in the form of Ustadz Adi Hidayat’s YouTube lectures as well as secondary data from references, scientific journal articles, Al-Qur'anic interpretations, and Islamic education literature. This study is limited to three problems, namely the concept of environmental ecotheology in Ustadz Adi Hidayat's YouTube lectures, environmental character education in the lectures, and environmental education strategies and their implications for PAI learning. The findings reveal that Islamic ecotheology in the lectures is built on the values ​​of monotheism, khalifah, amanah, and mizan which emphasize human responsibility in protecting the environment as part of worship. Environmental character education is delivered through a religious, contextual, and persuasive approach that emphasizes moral and spiritual awareness, while environmental education strategies are carried out through the integration of Al-Qur'anic and Hadith arguments, easy-to-understand communication, real-life examples, and the use of YouTube digital media. These findings indicate that Islamic ecotheological values ​​are relevant for integration into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to strengthen students' religious character and environmental awareness in the digital age.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how extracurricular scouting activities at Nurussalam Jayakerta Islamic High School contribute to student character development. This research is driven by the importance of character education in the digital era, which is characterized by the moral degradation of the younger generation as a result of social media and technology. Because scouting activities combine the principles of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, leadership, and nationalism through the implementation of Tri Satya and Dasa Dharma, this activity is considered an effective medium for character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive methodology and collected data through observation, documentation, and interviews. Teachers, students actively participating in scouting activities, and scout leaders were the subjects of the study. According to the research findings, the extracurricular scouting program at Nurussalam Islamic High School serves as a primary tool for overall student character development, in addition to providing extracurricular activities outside the classroom. The character values instilled include religiosity, discipline, accountability, teamwork, leadership, nationalism, and self-control. Adequate facilities, an integrated Islamic boarding school system, and proactive support from the school and its advisors all contributed to the success of this initiative. The school was able to overcome a number of obstacles, including student boredom and a lack of extracurricular activities, by implementing unique and creative programs. Thus, in a contemporary Islamic boarding school setting, scouting activities have proven to be an excellent model for character education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of sharia principles in BSI Hasanah Card products and to examine its relationship with increasing customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Adam Malik Branch, Bengkulu City. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving the Branch Manager, Customer Service staff, and BSI Hasanah Card holders. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that BSI Hasanah Card has consistently implemented sharia principles across four main dimensions: (1) the anti-riba principle, realized through the elimination of the interest system and its replacement with a service fee (ujrah); (2) the anti-maisir principle, enforced by restricting transactions only to BSI-verified merchants; (3) the anti-gharar principle, ensured through information transparency and contractual clarity before customers use the product; and (4) the justice principle, reflected in a mutual agreement mechanism where both parties fully understand their rights and obligations. The Hasanah Card employs three primary contracts in accordance with DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 54/DSN-MUI/X/2006, namely Kafalah, Qardh, and Ijarah. A positive relationship was found between the implementation of sharia principles and customer loyalty, evidenced by three loyalty indicators: continuous product usage, resistance to competitor offerings, and willingness to recommend the product to others.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through the internalization of religious moderation values as a strategic effort in deradicalizing students within the school environment. Religious moderation is understood as an important approach in shaping religious attitudes that are tolerant, inclusive, and balanced amid the challenges of globalization and the development of information technology. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a library research design, drawing from relevant books, scholarly journals, and educational policy documents. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify, examine, and interpret the concept of religious moderation in the context of Islamic education. The findings indicate that the internalization of religious moderation values in PAI learning can be implemented through curriculum integration, exemplary behavior of educators, habituation of tolerant attitudes in schools, and strengthening contextual religious literacy. These strategies contribute to forming students with moderate, critical thinking, and resilience against radical ideologies. Thus, the transformation of Islamic Religious Education based on religious moderation plays a strategic role in creating a peaceful, inclusive educational environment and strengthening national character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the model and implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on economic independence at SMA Ma’arif Sukorejo and its influence on the development of students’ character and independence. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type to gain an in-depth understanding of the learning process implemented at the school. Data sources were obtained from PAI teachers, students, documentation, and learning materials, while data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested through source and method triangulation. The results showed that the PAI learning model based on economic independence was developed through the integration of muamalah materials and Islamic business ethics with simple business practices such as class bazaars and student entrepreneurship activities. The implementation of this learning model was able to instill Islamic values such as honesty, trustworthiness, discipline, responsibility, hard work, and gratitude, as well as improve students’ independence in managing finances, making decisions, and facing business risks. Although there were obstacles in balancing school activities and business practices, practice-based learning provided meaningful learning experiences that were relevant to students’ socio-economic lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the sorogan method in learning the Book of Al-Jurumiyyah and to find out the development of students' understanding of nahwu material in Dormitory I of the Ngalah Sengonagung Purwosari Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the sorogan method is carried out individually through the stages of material preparation, submission of readings, direct correction, and continuous evaluation. The students perform muthala'ah before depositing the reading to the ustadzah, then the ustadzah provides corrections to errors in harakat, meaning, and the application of nahwu rules. The application of the sorogan method has been proven to be able to improve the ability to read books without harakat, understanding the rules of nahwu, reading thoroughness, and the courage of students in explaining the material. The development of students' understanding shows diverse results according to their educational background, basic Arabic language skills, and the intensity of each student's practice, but in general the sorogan method is considered effective because it provides personalized, active, and intensive learning. Thus, the sorogan method remains relevant in learning the yellow book as an effort to strengthen basic Arabic language competencies and understanding of nahwu students in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the E-LKPD on folklore material in instilling character values in fifth-grade students at MIN 4 Muaro Jambi. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model, which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research data were obtained through teacher response questionnaires and observations during the learning process. The assessment focused on the level of effectiveness of the E-LKPD, which includes aspects of material content feasibility, benefits to learning, and the instillation of character values. The results of the study showed that the E-LKPD obtained an average score of 3.78 with a feasibility percentage of 94.44%, falling into the very effective category. The use of the E-LKPD can support students' understanding of folklore material through the presentation of systematic, attractive, and interactive material, thereby increasing students' interest, motivation, and activeness in learning. The observation results show the implementation of character values in students, such as gratitude, humility, and the ability to respect themselves and their friends. Understanding of character values is also reflected in students' answers on the E-LKPD, which demonstrate the ability to identify and apply character values in daily life. The conclusion of this study shows that the E-LKPD on folklore material is very effective for use in fifth-grade Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems faced by students in understanding how to solve problems in Islamic religious education lessons, because the learning process still focuses on the teacher and students are not actively involved. This situation has an impact on low student learning outcomes. The problem formulation is whether there is a significant effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model on the Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education for Grade V Students at SDN 08 Koto Berapak Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model on the Islamic Religious Education Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students at SDN 08 Koto Berapak Pesisir Selatan. This study is quantitative in nature with a quasi-experimental approach, using a one-group pre-test post-test design. The subjects in this study include one class. This study involved one class, namely the fifth grade of SDN 08 Koto Berapak Pesisir Selatan. Data collection methods were conducted through tests and documentation. Based on the analysis of the research results and data processing, the t-value was -3.979 and the t-table was 2.179, which is -3.979 > 2.179, so Ho was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model on the Islamic Education Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students at SDN 08 Koto Berapak Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

The reconstruction of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum is a process of developing the curriculum to align with digital transformation while maintaining Islamic values. This article aims to discuss the foundations and objectives of the PAI curriculum in the digital transformation era. The study employs a qualitative approach through library research. Data were collected from various scientific references and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the development of the PAI curriculum should be based on religious, philosophical, psychological, sociological, and technological aspects. In addition, the PAI curriculum is also directed toward improving students’ digital literacy and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Da'wah can be conveyed through various media, including theatrical arts that have visual and emotional appeal. The Teater Roda Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Al-Amien Prenduan University utilizes theatrical arts as a da'wah medium by integrating Islamic values in every performance. This study aims to examine the role of theatrical arts as a da'wah medium and identify the challenges faced by the Teater Roda Student Activity Unit. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that theatrical arts play an effective role as a creative da'wah medium in conveying Islamic values, fostering religious awareness, shaping the mentality of preachers, and developing empathy and cooperation among members. However, its implementation faces various challenges, such as aligning members' visions, limited resources, competition with modern entertainment, and diverse audience responses. This study concludes that theatrical arts have great potential as a relevant and effective da'wah medium, provided it is suppomn rted by member development, creative innovation, and strengthening Islamic values in every activity.
