Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of student administrative services at SMA Yayasan Titian Ilmu Pengabuan, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The problems are caused by the limited number of administrative staff, the absence of a head of administration, and inadequate supporting facilities. These conditions lead to delays in administrative services and less effective management of student data. This study aims to examine the role of administrative staff, the obstacles encountered, and the efforts made to improve student administrative services. This research employs a descriptive approach using a qualitative method. The research subjects consist of the principal, two administrative staff members, and three students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that administrative staff play an important role in student administrative services, including managing student data, archiving documents, issuing certificates, legalizing documents, and providing academic information. The services are considered fairly good; however, there are still obstacles such as limited human resources and inadequate facilities. Efforts to improve services include task distribution, strengthening teamwork, and increasing responsiveness to students’ needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Emotional Qur’anic Learning (EQL) in improving memorization ability and fostering students’ love for the Qur’an in the subject of Qur’an Hadith at MI Miftahussudur 02 Dagangan Parengan in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the principal, teachers, and students selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of EQL has a positive impact on students’ memorization ability, as reflected in improved fluency, consistent revision (muroja’ah), and regular Qur’an reading habits. Additionally, students’ affective aspects developed significantly, including increased intrinsic motivation, emotional stability, and love for the Qur’an. Supporting factors include the school’s religious culture, active teacher roles, consistent learning methods, and supportive school environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors involve limited learning media, student boredom, individual differences in ability, and lack of parental involvement. Therefore, EQL has strong potential as an effective approach to integrate cognitive, emotional, and spiritual aspects in Qur’anic learning.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in science and science learning in class III MIN Jambi City is important to study because curriculum changes require learning that is more flexible, contextual and student-centered, but in the field there are still various obstacles in its implementation. This research aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in science and science learning and identify the obstacles faced by third grade teachers. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, through data collection stages in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with the subjects being school principals, class III teachers, and class III students at MIN Jambi City. The research results show that science and science learning refers to the Merdeka Curriculum learning achievements and is carried out through observation, discussion, simple experiments and small projects that encourage student activity. However, implementation has not been optimal due to limited teacher understanding, lack of learning resources and teaching tools, limited facilities, and variations in student readiness. These findings confirm that successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum requires strengthening teacher capacity, school support, and providing adequate learning media.

Abstract

Low student understanding in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning remains a common problem in elementary schools, especially in abstract materials such as the water cycle. Learning activities that are still dominated by lecture methods make students less active and less directly involved in the learning process. This study aimed to describe the implementation of simple experimental media and analyze the improvement of fifth-grade students’ understanding at SDN 182/VII Pasar Pelawan III in IPAS learning. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 19 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings showed that the implementation of simple experimental media significantly improved students’ understanding. The average student score increased from 64.47 in the pre-cycle to 71.44 in cycle I and increased again to 81.57 in cycle II. Student learning completeness also improved from 32% to 64% and finally reached 90% in cycle II. In addition, teacher and student activities increased from 79.57% to 93.18%. These findings indicate that simple experimental media effectively create more active, meaningful, and contextual learning experiences.

Abstract

The Tuo Kayu Jao Mosque, located in Tuo Kayu Jao, Solok Regency, is one of the oldest mosques in Indonesia and holds significant historical, geographical, and cultural value. This study aims to analyze the role of the mosque from a historical-geographical perspective and its contribution to the social, cultural, and economic life of the community. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on literature review and the interpretation of geographical conditions as well as the dynamics of the local community. The research findings indicate that the mosque’s location in a highland area with relatively strategic access in the past played a crucial role in the spread of Islam across West Sumatra. Beyond serving as a place of worship, this mosque functions as a center for religious education, the preservation of Minangkabau traditional values, and the reinforcement of the community’s social identity. Furthermore, the existence of the mosque has contributed to economic impacts through various activities such as local trade, skills training, and the management of congregation-based cooperatives. Thus, the Tuo Kayu Jao Mosque plays a multidimensional role that extends beyond religious functions to serve as a driving force for the sustainable social and economic life of the community.

Abstract

Islamic law constitutes an essential element in the development of Indonesia's national legal system as an empirically living law in society. National law is grounded in Pancasila values that uphold religious and just and civilized human values. Nevertheless, many legal products remain contrary to these Pancasila values, including adultery offenses, which continue to reflect individualistic and liberal colonial heritage. This research examines: (1) the existence and position of Islamic law in Indonesia's national legal system; (2) theories of Islamic law reception and their methodological limitations; and (3) the implementation of Islamic law in the reformulation of adultery offenses within the National Criminal Code (KUHP) based on the principles of purification and integration. This study employs normative legal research methodology utilizing philosophical, statutory, and conceptual approaches. Primary legal materials include the Qur'an, Sunnah, the 1945 Constitution, the Wetboek van Strafrecht (WvS), and the National Criminal Code (Law No. 1 of 2023). The findings conclude that Islamic law has long existed and is deeply rooted in Indonesia's legal system since the 7th century CE. The implementation of Islamic law in national legal development must proceed through two interrelated processes: purification and integration. The concrete manifestation is the reformulation of adultery offenses in the National Criminal Code to better align with Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah principles and Pancasila values.

Abstract

Arabic language learning holds a highly strategic position, particularly in the context of Islamic education, linguistic studies, and the needs of global communication. The success of this learning is largely determined by the appropriate selection of methods, approaches, and learning system design. This demonstrates that learning planning is a key factor in achieving learning objectives effectively and efficiently. Along with developments in educational theory and language learning technology, Arabic language learning planning needs to be systematically designed, taking into account the integration of various components, such as objectives, materials, methods, media, and evaluation. From a modern perspective, language learning methods are not merely understood as teaching techniques but encompass the relationship between approaches, designs, and procedures that are integrated within a learning system. The results provide an in-depth analysis of the components of approaches in Arabic language learning and the design of effective learning system planning. Furthermore, this research aims to identify learning strategies that can improve student learning outcomes and contribute to improving the quality of Arabic language teaching in various educational institutions.

Abstract

In the era of disruption, inclusive interpretation becomes a strategic solution to counter radicalism and foster a moderate and contextual understanding of religion. Technological disruption introduces new challenges in education, particularly regarding the dissemination of religious information often lacking context. In Kubu Raya Regency, a region with a heterogeneous society, inclusive interpretation plays a vital role in creating social capital for harmony and tolerance. However, challenges in the competency of Qur'an-Hadith teachers in Sungai Ambawang Kuala Village, such as limited academic background and methodology, hinder the optimization of inclusive interpretation. To address these challenges, a community service program was implemented in three phases: preparation (pre-test), implementation (lectures and discussions), and evaluation (post-test and reflection). This program involved teachers from various schools and madrasas, aiming to enhance their understanding of inclusive interpretation in line with the mandate of KMA Number 183 of 2019. The outcomes are expected to support relevant and moderate Islamic education amidst the challenges of the disruption era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision conducted by the principal at MAS Al-Baqiyatussholihat Cibarusah Bekasi, which includes the aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of academic supervision in improving teacher professionalism and the quality of learning. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students as research participants. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques.  The findings revealed that academic supervision at MAS Al-Baqiyatussholihat has been implemented however, it has not yet been carried out optimally. In the planning aspect, academic supervision has been administratively available but has not been systematically and structurally organized. The implementation of supervision remains incidental and focuses more on administrative inspection rather than direct classroom observation. Evaluation of supervision is conducted through verbal feedback, yet it lacks systematic documentation. Furthermore, follow-up actions have been carried out through workshops and seminars, but they are not fully based on systematic supervision evaluation results. Therefore, strengthening a more planned, sustainable, and structured academic supervision system is necessary to improve teacher professionalism and the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the form or concept of edupreneurship as well as its implementation in developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN Pager 1 Purwosari. Edupreneurship is a learning approach that combines entrepreneurial values with the educational process to shape students’ character to be independent, honest, creative, disciplined, and responsible in accordance with Islamic values. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included PAI teachers and students at SDN Pager 1 Purwosari. The results of the study indicate that the edupreneur approach in PAI instruction is implemented through active learning activities, group work, discussions, and handson practices related to students’ daily lives. The implementation of edupreneurship was applied to the topics of almsgiving, voluntary charity, and zakat through simple practical activities such as collecting alms, sharing activities, simulating zakat calculations, and distributing aid to those in need. Through these activities, students not only understand religious concepts theoretically but also are able to apply these teachings in their daily lives. The application of edupreneurship in PAI instruction has a positive impact on the development of students’ character, such as increased independence, honesty, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and social awareness.Thus, the implementation of the edupreneur model can help make Islamic Education (PAI) lessons more active, engaging, and meaningful for students at SDN Pager 1 Purwosari.
