Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, consisting of financial knowledge, financial skills, and financial confidence, on gold investment interest among students at Ma'arif University, Lampung. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a survey type, involving 103 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS application program. The results showed that partially, financial knowledge and financial skills did not have a significant effect on gold investment interest. Conversely, financial confidence proved to have a positive and significant effect and was the most dominant variable. Simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on gold investment interest. The coefficient of determination (R-Square) value showed that the model was able to explain 40.5% of the variation in investment interest, while the remaining 59.5% was influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings confirm that psychological aspects, especially financial confidence, have a significant role in driving student investment interest compared to aspects of knowledge and skills alone.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of BPRS Metro Madani in improving Islamic financial literacy and inclusion among the community of Metro City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving operational managers, marketing staff, customer service, customers, and non-customers. Data were analyzed descriptively to understand the relationship between literacy, inclusion, and the role of BPRS. The results show that BPRS Metro Madani plays an important role in enhancing Islamic financial literacy through educational activities such as product socialization, contract explanation, and customer assistance. These efforts contribute to increasing public understanding and trust. However, Islamic financial literacy remains uneven, which affects the level of financial inclusion. While customers perceive positive benefits, such as business growth and income improvement, non-customers still prefer informal financial systems due to limited knowledge and trust. This study confirms that Islamic financial literacy acts as an intervening variable between the role of Islamic microfinance institutions and financial inclusion, especially in the context of BPRS at the local level. This study is limited to a single institution and qualitative approach, which may affect generalization. The findings imply the need for more intensive education and broader outreach strategies to improve literacy and inclusion.

Abstract

To what extent may environment-based learning media enhance IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) learning outcomes for primary school students? That is the primary issue that our study aims to address. This quantitative research employed a real-world experimental design with a control group paradigm that included both a pretest and a posttest. A class that was taught utilising environment-based media served as the experimental group, while a class that was taught using traditional techniques served as the control group. To analyse the data, we used N-Gain, hypothesis testing, and tests for normality and homogeneity. On average (N-Gain score), the experimental group showed a substantial improvement (0.713), while the control group showed a little improvement (0.510). A hypothesis test with a significance level below 0.05 further demonstrated that the two groups were significantly different from one another. Students' performance in IPAS and the quality of their educational experiences are both enhanced by the usage of environment-based learning tools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the boarding school program in forming the religious character of students at SMP Insan Madani Jambi, to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors, and to analyze the forms of religious character developed through the program. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the school principal, dormitory supervisors, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the boarding school program is implemented through a structured 24-hour habituation system, including daily worship practices such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, Qiyamul Lail, Dhuha prayer, and character guidance through role modeling and continuous supervision. Supporting factors include a strong institutional vision, a conducive dormitory environment, comprehensive religious programs, and active involvement of educators. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited human resources, students’ adaptation challenges, homesickness, and fatigue due to dense routines. The religious character formed includes discipline in worship, obedience, respect for teachers, self-control, honesty, responsibility, and social awareness based on Islamic values. It can be concluded that the boarding school program is effective in shaping students’ religious character, although improvements in human resources and program innovation are still needed to optimize the internalization of values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of adoption and the role of non-cash digital payments in promoting financial accountability among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation involving MSME actors who have used digital payment platforms such as ShopeePay, DANA, and GoPay. The results show that the adoption level of digital payments is relatively high and has a positive impact on financial management, particularly in facilitating transaction recording, improving cash flow transparency, and providing accurate transaction evidence. However, its role has not been fully optimized due to several challenges, including low financial and digital literacy, inconsistent separation of personal and business finances, and technical constraints such as internet instability and fund disbursement delays. Therefore, digital payments have strong potential as a tool to enhance MSME financial accountability, but require adequate literacy and infrastructure support.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 4 Pamekasan faces problems in the form of students' low ability to understand religious material concepts in depth and a gap between their knowledge and the application of Islamic values in everyday life. This study aims to apply the Deep Learning Approach to improve Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMPN 4 Pamekasan. This study uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were grade IX students of SMPN 4 Pamekasan. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The Deep Learning approach is implemented through three main points, namely Mindful Learning (learning with full awareness), Meaningful Learning (meaningful learning that connects material with student experiences), and Joyful Learning (fun learning). The implementation is carried out through case studies of Islamic values, reflective discussions, analysis of moral events, and experience-based projects. The results of the study indicate that the results of the study will be filled in after the data analysis is complete. This study concludes that the Deep Learning approach is effective in improving PAl learning outcomes as a whole, not only in the cognitive domain but also in instilling Islamic values in students' daily behavior

Abstract

The digital transformation in the educational sector presents unique challenges for schools in archipelago regions, where geographical isolation often correlates with technological disparities. This study investigates the role of instructional leadership in fostering a digital culture to enhance teacher quality at MTsN 26 Jakarta, located in the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu). Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that instructional leadership acts as a strategic catalyst through three primary dimensions: visioning digital pedagogy, providing technology-integrated professional development, and establishing a collaborative digital ecosystem. Despite logistical constraints inherent to the archipelago context, the leadership's proactive intervention has significantly shifted the pedagogical paradigm from traditional to digital-centric. This research contributes to the discourse on educational management by providing a conceptual framework for digital culture transformation in geographically disadvantaged areas.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah, Jambi City, became the focus of this study. This issue was caused by teacher-centered learning, the dominance of lecture methods, and the lack of engaging learning media. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of monopoly-based learning media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes in each cycle, with the average score increasing from 42.41 in the pre-cycle to 71.93 in Cycle I and 81.61 in Cycle II, with a learning completeness rate of 80.64%. These findings indicate that monopolybased learning media is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in IPAS.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given rise to the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), which is increasingly felt by Generation Z, the group most active in social media use. This study aims to analyze the impact of FoMO on the socio-economic well-being of Generation Z and examine this phenomenon from the perspective of the maqasid sharia (Islamic principles). The method used was a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of various sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant research reports. The results show that FoMO contributes significantly to the formation of consumptive behavior, increased social pressure, and weakened individual economic stability. Furthermore, FoMO also impacts mental health, such as anxiety, stress, and low life satisfaction. From the perspective of maqasid sharia, the FoMO phenomenon has the potential to conflict with the principles of hifz al-nafs (protecting the soul), hifz al-aql (protecting the mind), and hifz al-mal (protecting wealth), as it encourages behavior that imbalances needs and desires. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic values such as modesty (zuhud), self-control (tahdzib an-nafs), and a focus on the welfare of others in dealing with digital social pressures. Thus, the maqashid sharia approach can be a normative solution to mitigate the negative impact of FoMO on the socioeconomic well-being of Generation Z.
