Abstract

Abstract This research is a normative legal research that aims to analyze the relationship between the criminal act of plagiarism and product design in terms of human rights aspects. The results of this study are that the crime of plagiarism against product design is an act that is contrary to Law number 39 of 1999 concerning human rights. The act of appropriating a design by another person without the owner's permission is an act of usurping the right to human welfare. Therefore, this research was carried out so that product designers realize that plagiarism on the designs they produce is a deprivation of the right to welfare that they must have.Keywords: Plagiarism, product design, human rights

Abstract

Abstract The influence of the game is so great for Junior High School students, in which games can create addiction for them. As a result, they cannot manage their time well, skip their classes, and oftenly disturbed while studying because they constantly think about games on and on. The main cause is likely because of the psychology of junior high school students that still cannot control what they want wisely. As a result, their performance in studying will certainly decrease, which is resulted in their failure in academics. If this phenomena continues, it will surely impact their future in negative way. Therefore, it is necessary for the media to help junior high school students to be aware about the importance of managing their time, as well as giving the understanding that play games is not bad but they should know the boundary. Keywords: Public Service Ads, Games, Junior High School Students.

Abstract

Abstract The empty nest phase is experienced by the mother in middle adulthood (40-60 years) when the children leave the house and start a new life. This phase creates feelings of discomfort for the mother and has psychological implications. If there’s no proper coping mechanism it can interfere physical health of the mother as well. Social support from children in the form of intensive communication is needed in undergoing this phase. This study aims to design a visual communication awareness campaign for early adulthood supporting mothers in empty nests. This design was carried out using the Design Thinking method (Brown, 2008) which was combined with a message delivery strategy and media selection (Kasilo, 2008) with three major stages: inspiration, ideation, and implementation. The result of the design is visual communication for the awareness campaign entitled “Keluar Sarang” through the media: Instagram Story content, comics in Instagram Multiple Posts, ambient media plates, posters, clothes hangers, mugs, sticker packs, and pillows that are persuasive, communicative, and synergistic. Keywords: Awareness Campaign, Empty Nest Syndrome, Illustration, Visual Communication.

Abstract

Abstract The habit of violating the rules by road users became a source of ideas in creating this work of art. The asphalt road and the icons on the road are used as objects for creating works. Starting from observing the behavior and habits of road users and public facilities who do not comply with applicable regulations, violate traffic signs, disobey road markings and so on. The author uses forms or icons that are often found on the streets, such as; traffic signs, marking lines, road asphalt, car tire tracks and so on onto the canvas using a realist-symbolic style. The realist-symbolic concept is used to convey messages to people who see or enjoy this work. The method used in the process of making this work goes through several stages, namely; (1) observation stage (2) contemplation stage (3) sketch stage (4) embodiment stage.  Keywords:  the habit of breaking the rules, streets, painting

Abstract

AbstractIndustrial designs in the field of dome architecture have long-term potential to become sustainable projects. The choice of color is an element of art that cannot be separated from the architectural design of the dome wherever this product is applied. The research "Analysis of color selection in the Putra Jamin Padang Panjang dome product industry" aims to understand the ideal and long-lasting color selection for Enamel and decorative dome products accompanied by studies on the use of standard paint for car painting. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. This research is expected to contribute to similar business actors to be able to improve work quality in terms of color selection and product durability, so as to have products that have aesthetic value and high selling value.Keywords: dome, color, enamel, decorative.

Abstract

Tulisan dengan judul “Desain Produk dan motif sulaman benang emas dan perak untuk lenan rumah tangga” ini tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan produk sulaman benang emas & perak yang dihasilkan oleh perajin sulam yang ada di Koto Baru Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat. Sulaman benang emas & perak ini biasanya digunakan untuk perlengkapan upacara adat seperti pelaminan, selendang pengantin wanita dan pengiring pengantin atau sumandan, tutup tudung saji dan kampia, saat ini telah dilakukan pengembangan dengan cara membuat desain kreatif dan inovatif dalam bentuk produk lenan rumah tangga berupa sarung bantal kursi, alas meja, dan hiasan dinding dengan menempatkan motif Minangkabau dan motif kreasi perajin dan peneliti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Dengan cara eksplorasi dan perancangan. Berdasarkan hasil eksplorasi dan rancangan telah dapat menghasilkan desain motif yang baru yang ditempatkan pada produk sulaman benang emas & perak yaitu produk perlengkapan lenan rumah tangga berupa sarung bantal kursi, alas meja dan hiasan dinding.

Abstract

The article with the title "Embroidery Products in Nagari Ulakan Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra", aims to describe embroidery products in Nagari Ulakan. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are that the embroidery craft products produced in this area are mukena or talakuang by placing the arise son flower,  the hibiscuse series motif as decoration. The motifs are placed on the head, neck, back and around the bottom edge of the mukena or talakuang.

Abstract

History says that design is actually rooted in artistic activities that have grown towards one sphere of culture in its essence to another: the means of everyday human life. When historical descriptions state that the primitive people make cangulals as a tool that is a transformation of the extension of the hand: often questions about design, art or technology. Design is challenged to have to engage in a variety of cultural weather.  As with technology, design is required to immediately formulate the situation in line with the development of other cultural sectors. The construction of the Bauhus in Germany, with the prophecy of Walter Gropius, is considered a milestone in the development of modern design history. The basic philosophy of the Bauhaus departs from the idea that the methods of industrial production of the 19th century have led to the disregard of the relationship between the process of design and handicraft or the ability of the hand, the unity between the creator and the product is broken. In fact, the influence, the Bauhaus principles that later evolved into an International style, were not the product of experiments produced by the instructors (Meister) and his students, but the methodology of visual arts education and the design methodology that he taught. The fundamental role of a designer will never change, but what will change is his commercial situation. Abstract

In the management of hospitals, Corporate Identity plays a pivotal role in brand recognition, image formation, and public perception. The primary objective behind the establishment of the hospital's Corporate Identity is to facilitate the audience's ability to remember and trust the institution as a professional and highly competent healthcare service provider, thereby fostering loyalty among the target audience.The main challenge faced by RSUD Bukittinggi is the absence of a clear corporate identity, serving as a reminder to the community and patients regarding the positive image and unique characteristics of RSUD Bukittinggi. Furthermore, this corporate identity also serves as a distinguishing factor for RSUD Bukittinggi from other healthcare facilities.In light of this, RSUD Bukittinggi requires innovative ideas in constructing a Corporate Identity that can effectively present the image, unique characteristics, and excellence possessed by RSUD Bukittinggi. The existence of RSUD Bukittinggi as a hospital offering medical tourism services in the city of Bukittinggi demands a corporate identity befitting its distinguished position.As a comprehensive solution to address this issue, a step taken is to design a corporate identity strategy for RSUD Bukittinggi utilizing the SWOT analysis method. This strategic approach can yield results that are congruent and highly effective in conveying the identity and distinctive characteristics of this institution. Components of this comprehensive corporate identity strategy include logo creation, typography selection, determination of identity colors, and utilization of various communication channels, all meticulously designed to facilitate the audience in identifying the unique characteristics and excellence of RSUD Bukittinggi.Keywords: Corporate identity, RSUD Bukittinggi

Abstract

Penciptaan karya ini berangkat dari persoalan  Halaman yng dijadikan ransang cipta. Halaman sendiri memiliki nilai serta norma yang terkandung bagi kehidupan etnis Minangkabau. Seiring perubahan zaman, Halaman yang dulu sekedar sebatas ruang lepas sekarang istilah tersebut menjelma menjadi berbagai macam bentuk pemakaian, salah satu halaman dunia maya yaitu facebook. Secara  bentuk memang berbeda, tetapi secara fungsi dalam hal interaksi dengan orang lain masih memiliki kesamaan. Persoalannya terletak pada terkikisnya norma dalam berinteraksi, hilangnya hal yang bersifat pribadi menjadi konsumsi bagi publik. Hal tersebutlah yang meransang pengkarya untuk mencipta dan mengekspresikannya dalam bentuk karya dua dimensi, yakni seni grafis.Seni grafis merupakan bagian dari seni murni, secara khusus merupakan suatu teknik bagaimana memvisualkan karya dengan metode cetak manual. Dalam hal hal berkarya nantinya pengkarya menggunakan dua teknik yaitu, cetak tinggi (relief print) sebagai kontur karya dan cetak saring untuk pewarnaan karya. Visual karya yang diciptakan melalui beberapa proses dalam pembentukaannya, dengan menggunakan metode transforfasi, stilisasi, dan distorsi, upaya ini digunakan agar tercapainya bentuk karya yang estetis yang teransang dari  Halaman.Karya seni cetak tersebut nantinya berjumblah delapan, dengan ukuran yang berbeda dan di cetak pada permukaaan kertas, keseluruhan karya cenderung berwarna cerah serta kontras, bahasa ungkap yang penggkarya gunakan bersifat arbiter. Hal tersebut agar pengamat memiliki penilaian pribadi atas karya yang tesaji nantinya, melalaui amatan serta pengalaman estetis personal dalam hal memandang seni rupa.
