Abstract

Isu perubahan iklim dan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap lingkungan mendorong industri pariwisata untuk menerapkan praktik berkelanjutan, termasuk penggunaan produk ramah lingkungan. BudiSun Resort Maumere merupakan salah satu resort di Nusa Tenggara Timur yang telah mengadopsi prinsip-prinsip ramah lingkungan dalam operasionalnya. Namun, masih diperlukan kajian mengenai sejauh mana praktik tersebut memengaruhi keputusan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Green Product, Brand Image, dan Environmental Awareness terhadap Purchase Intention konsumen pada BudiSun Resort Maumere. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 150 responden yang pernah menginap di resort tersebut. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention (R² = 0,827; F = 231,894; sig = 0,000). Secara parsial, Brand Image (β = 0,321; sig = 0,000) dan Environmental Awareness (β = 0,651; sig = 0,000) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan Green Product tidak berpengaruh signifikan (β = –0,056; sig = 0,354). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun citra merek yang kuat dan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan konsumen dalam strategi pemasaran pariwisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The unemployment rate in Indonesia remains relatively high, particularly among vocational high school (SMK) graduates, who have the highest open unemployment rate. This condition indicates an imbalance between the skills possessed by graduates and the needs of the workforce. One strategy that can be taken to address this problem is to encourage the emergence of new entrepreneurs. Interest in entrepreneurship is a key factor that can motivate individuals, especially students, to create jobs for themselves and others. To foster this interest, motivating factors such as adequate entrepreneurial practices and realistic income expectations are needed. This study aims to analyze the contribution of entrepreneurial practices and income expectations to increasing student entrepreneurial interest. A quantitative approach was used in this study, with primary data collection through an online survey assisted by Google Forms. The research instrument was designed using a Likert scale to measure respondents' perceptions. Sampling was determined using a proportional random sampling technique based on the Taro Yamane formula, resulting in 188 students as study respondents. Data analysis was performed using Smart PLS software to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results showed that entrepreneurial practices have a direct, positive, and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest. Furthermore, entrepreneurial practice also has a direct, positive, and significant effect on income expectations. Furthermore, it was found that entrepreneurial practice has an indirect, positive, and significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions through the mediation of income expectations. These findings indicate that students who gain direct experience in entrepreneurial practice will have a clearer picture of the potential income that can be obtained, thus increasing their motivation to become entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The need for practical, efficient, and long-lasting makeup is increasing, especially among women who are active in daily activities such as work, college, and social activities. One important element in creating a fresh, expressive, and attractive facial appearance is the condition of the eyelashes. Curled eyelashes can give the impression of larger, fresher, and more vibrant eyes. In makeup practice, there are various ways to curl eyelashes, including using eyelash curlers and mascara. Eyelash curlers are known to provide instant results with a noticeable curling effect, but they are often less durable and have the risk of damaging eyelashes if not used properly. Conversely, using mascara alone is considered more practical and safe, but often less than optimal, especially for individuals with short or straight eyelashes. This study aims to compare the results of eyelash curl and durability between the use of a conventional eyelash curler combined with mascara and the use of mascara alone in morning makeup. The research method used was a quantitative experiment with a One Shoot Case Study design. The research subjects consisted of six female students of the Makeup and Beauty Study Program, Padang State University, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Two treatment groups were formed, each receiving a different makeup technique. Seven panelists assessed the curl and durability of the eyelash makeup throughout the day through direct observation and photographic documentation. The results showed that the combination of using an eyelash curler and mascara provided significantly better curl and durability than mascara alone. A t-test confirmed a significant difference in curl (p = 0.001) and durability (p = 0.003). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the combination of an eyelash curler and mascara is recommended for users who desire maximum, fresh, and long-lasting morning makeup results throughout their daily activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of 21st-century learning environment, digital competence, and learning motivation on student academic achievement at SMK Negeri 1 Bogor. Education plays a crucial role in shaping academic performance, especially in the face of the challenges of the digital era, where students are required to possess skills that are relevant to the needs of the 21st century. Therefore, it is essential to investigate how factors such as learning environment, digital competence, and learning motivation influence students' academic performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) data analysis technique. The population in this study consists of all students in grades X and XI in the Office Management and Business Services program at SMK Negeri 1 Bogor, totaling 281 students. A selected sample of 167 students was chosen using proportionate sampling based on the Slovin formula. The independent variables in this study include the 21st-century learning environment, digital competence, and learning motivation. The 21st-century learning environment consists of the family, school, and community environments, which play an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere. Digital competence refers to students' ability to use technology for learning, communication, and assessment. Meanwhile, learning motivation includes both internal and external factors that encourage students to achieve optimal learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that all three variables—21st-century learning environment, digital competence, and learning motivation—have a positive and significant effect on students' academic achievement. This indicates that improvements in these three variables can contribute to enhancing students' academic performance at SMK Negeri 1 Bogor, ultimately helping them succeed in the globalized world.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Customer Intimacy, Price Fairness, and Customer Bonding on Customer Loyalty at Reni Salon Tales Ngadiluwih. The selection of the research location is based on the consideration that Reni Salon is a beauty service business that has regular customers, but the level of customer loyalty cannot be measured precisely. The type of research used is quantitative research with an unknown population. The research sample amounted to 105 respondents who were determined by purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of samples based on certain criteria relevant to the research. The analysis techniques used include data quality testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25. This analysis is used to determine the influence of both partial and simultaneous between independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that partially, Customer Intimacy does not have a significant influence on Customer Loyalty. This indicates that personal closeness between the salon and customers is not yet a major factor in forming loyalty. Meanwhile, Price Fairness has a significant influence on Customer Loyalty, meaning that prices that are considered fair and appropriate by customers can increase their loyalty. Customer Bonding also had no significant effect on Customer Loyalty, indicating that emotional bonds or close customer relationships do not yet play a significant role. However, simultaneous test results show that all three variables—Customer Intimacy, Price Fairness, and Customer Bonding—jointly have a significant effect on Customer Loyalty. These findings suggest that price fairness plays the most critical role in enhancing customer loyalty compared to other factors. Therefore, Reni Salon management is advised to focus more on fair pricing strategies, along with efforts to strengthen closeness and bonds with customers.

Abstract

Floods occur when normally dry land areas are inundated with large volumes of water, generally caused by prolonged heavy rainfall or water runoff from higher areas. Following floods, the risk of infectious diseases increases due to the presence of infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, and other hazardous substances. Common post-flood diseases include acute respiratory infections (ARI), diarrhea, typhoid fever, leptospirosis, dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), and skin diseases. This study aims to describe the characteristics of the community and their level of knowledge regarding efforts to prevent post-flood diseases in Dusun Nusupan. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with purposive sampling, involving 67 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires. The results showed that the majority of respondents were in late adulthood, female, had a middle-level education, and most had previously experienced post-flood diseases. The community’s level of knowledge was generally good, with nearly all respondents demonstrating adequate understanding of preventive measures. However, the high incidence of post-flood diseases among respondents highlights that public health risks remain significant. These findings indicate the necessity of continuous education and the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors to minimize the health impacts of floods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui gambaran Keputusan Pembelian, Kualitas Produk, Harga, dan Promosi; (2) menganalisis pengaruh Kualitas Produk, Harga dan Promosi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di kota Maumere. Karena populasinya tidak terbatas, maka dilakukan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 76 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu regresi linier berganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji F dan Uji t. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa variabel Keputusan Pembelian berada dalam kriteria baik, variabel Kualitas Produk berada dalam kriteria baik, selanjutnya variabel Harga berada dalam kriteria baik dan variabel Promosi berada dalam kriteria baik. Hasil statistik uji t menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Kualitas Produk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Selanjutnya variabel Harga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian, elanjutnya variabel Promosi berpengaruh seara signifikan terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian. Hasil statistik uji F menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel Kualitas Produk, Harga dan Promosi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil analisis determinasi menujukan ketiga variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan terhadap variasi naik turunnya Keputusan Pembelian Cho-sik di Kabupaten Sikka sebesar 44,4%.

Abstract

The research aim was to examine the regional financial performance of the Local Government of Sikka Regency. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study consisted of Budget Realization Reports (APBD) of the Local Government of Sikka Regency, with the sample covering five fiscal years from 2019 to 2023. Data were collected through documentation. The financial performance of the Local Government of Sikka Regency, as measured by the independence ratio, was categorized as very low with an instructive relationship pattern, where the role of the central government was more dominant than the independence of the local government. The effectiveness of the regional financial performance of Sikka Regency in 2019 – 2023 had an average of 85,90%, which fell into the less effective category. The allocation of funds in Sikka Regency was still unbalanced, as most of the APBD was allocated to operational expenditures with an average of 68,48%, while capital expenditures accounted for only an average of 13,4%. The revenue growth of the Sikka Regency Government from 2019 to 2023 tended to fluctuate, which occurred due to the suboptimal revenue received by the local government

Abstract

The background of this which was attributed to issues rela not aligning with existing regulations. This study aimed to (1) describe employee performance, training effectiveness, and work discipline, and (2) analyze the influence of training effectiveness and work discipline on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study consisted of 40 employees at the Class B Search and Rescue Office, Sikka Regency. Using the Slovin formula, the sample size was determined to be 40 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, specifically multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted through the F-test and t-test. Descriptive analysis results showed that the employce performance variable was classified as good, the training effectiveness variable was classified as good, and the work discipline variable was also classified as good. The results of the t-test indicated that, partially, the training effectiveness variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Similarly, the work discipline variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the F-test showed that, simultaneously, the training effectiveness and work discipline variables had a significant effect on employee performance. The determination analysis indicated that the two independent variables in this study explained 37.6% of the variation in employee performance at the Class B Search and Rescue Office, Maumere, Sikka Rege

Abstract

Water is a basic, irreplaceable human need, so its management must be effective, efficient, and sustainable. The Tanarawa Village Government, through the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), manages the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) to meet the community's clean water needs. However, various obstacles remain, ranging from suboptimal water quality, uneven distribution, and customer complaints. This situation raises questions about the extent to which service quality and complaints influence customer satisfaction at the Tanarawa Village PDAM, Waiblama District, Sikka Regency. This study aims to: (1) describe the service quality of the Tanarawa Village PDAM, (2) identify the types of complaints submitted by customers, and (3) analyze the influence of service quality and complaints on customer satisfaction. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires from 30 respondents who were customers of the Tanarawa Village PDAM. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study, based on descriptive analysis, indicate that service quality, complaints, and satisfaction are categorized as "Good," although there are still shortcomings in response speed, consistency of water distribution, and staff reliability. Customer complaints predominantly concern frequent interruptions in water flow, poor water quality, and slow response times, requiring improvement to Very Good. Statistical analysis of the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction shows a t_(count) > t_table = 3.325 > 1.99, concluding that service quality significantly influences customer satisfaction. Furthermore, statistical analysis of the effect of complaints on customer satisfaction also yielded a t_(count) > t_table = 3.917 > 1.99, concluding that customer complaints have a significant impact on satisfaction levels. Thus, this study confirms that consistent improvements in service quality and prompt and resolute complaint handling are important factors in increasing customer satisfaction. The results are expected to provide strategic input for the Tanarawa Village Water Company (PDAM) in improving its service system and strengthening relationships with the community.
