Abstract

The education systems in China and Indonesia have significant differences, although both aim to create an educated generation. In China, education focuses on the development of technical and academic skills with a highly structured and competitive system, especially through the Gaokao exam that determines students’ academic futures. Meanwhile, Indonesia places more emphasis on cultural diversity and character development, with a more inclusive learning approach based on social values. These differences are clearly reflected in the educational structure, curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment systems, which align with the social and economic needs of each country.

Digital technology allows students and teachers to access information and educational resources more easily and quickly. 2) Increase creativity. Digital technology allows students to develop their own potential and find out how to develop that potential. 3) Global collaboration, Students can collaborate with other students around the world via online platforms, so they can bring a global perspective to their learning. 4) Efficiency. Digital technology allows teachers to provide services without having to deal directly with students, thereby increasing efficiency in the learning process. Negative impacts: 1) Digital divide, The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the digital divide that exists in access to technology among students. Many students do not have access to the devices and internet necessary for distance learning. 2) Lack of focus. The amount of interesting information through digital technology makes students less focused on learning. 3) Education without character. Students prefer to explore cyberspace with various interesting information presented, so they pay less attention to the character and values taught at school. 4) Spread of pornography: Technological advances also have negative impacts such as the spread of pornography among students which will damage the morals of the current generation of teenagers.

Abstract

This study discusses the history and education system in Turkey, focusing on the developments and challenges faced. Turkey, as a country located in the Eurasian region, has a centralized education system and is managed according to the provisions set by Mustafa Kamal Ataturk. The purpose of this education system is to produce skilled, productive, and creative individuals in the era of reform. Some important points raised in this study include: Quality of Education, although there are many quality higher education institutions, the global ranking of the Turkish education system still needs to be improved. Improving the quality of teaching and curriculum development are key to facing this challenge. Educational Inequality, there is inequality in access to education, especially in rural areas. Although basic education is mandatory, there are still areas in Turkey that experience limited access to education, which creates a gap between urban and rural areas. Educational Reform, since 2012, the structure of education in Turkey has changed, where students must complete upper secondary education which is now mandatory. Previously, students completed basic education for eight years and secondary education for three years. Comparison with Indonesia, the education system in Turkey has similarities with Indonesia, especially in the use of a modern system in implementing the curriculum in universities. However, Turkey has greater academic autonomy in universities. Investment in Education, Turkey has invested in education through the "2023 Eğitim Vizyonu" program to improve the quality and accessibility of education. However, challenges such as educational inequality still need to be addressed. This study is expected to provide deeper insight into the education system in Turkey and the challenges faced, as well as comparisons with education systems in other countries, especially Indonesia.

Abstract

The division of inheritance is a crucial process carried out after someone passes away to manage the assets left behind, involving the testator, heirs, and the inherited property. In Islamic law, this division is regulated based on the Quran and Hadith with the aim of preventing disputes among heirs. This process must comply with the applicable legal requirements, including Law No. 3 of 2006 on religious courts. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting data from the works of scholars in the field of uṣūl fiqh. The findings explain the definitions and divisions of dzawil furudh, ashabah, and dzawil arham, as well as the proportion of inheritance shares determined by Islamic law, such as half (1/2), one-quarter (1/4), and two-thirds (2/3). Wise management of inherited assets is essential to fulfill family responsibilities and avoid legal violations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of using FPB and KPK trees, two forms of interactive learning media, on primary school mathematics instruction with the goal of boosting students' intrinsic drive to learn. This study employed classroom action research (PTK), a methodology that contains two cycles, cycle I and cycle II, each of which includes the following steps: planning, carrying out the activity, observing the results, and reflecting on the experience. Approximately thirty fifth graders from SDN Tembong 2 participated in the study. Methods such as observation, interviews, testing, and documentation were employed to gather the data. Learning media in the shape of FPB and KPK trees were the tools utilized in this study. This study's findings demonstrate that fifth graders at SDN Tembong 2 may greatly benefit from learning about fruit trees and vegetables through the usage of KPK and FPB learning media. According to the results of this study, this kind of educational media does a good job of boosting students' comprehension and enthusiasm for studying.
