Abstract

The objective of this study is to motivate students by utilizing small-scale game-based warm-ups in Physical Education (PJOK) teaching at SMPN 1 Kota Kediri. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study are seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Kota Kediri. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documents, then analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. The results indicate that the use of small-scale game-based warm-ups enhances student learning. This is evidenced by an increase in the percentage of students receiving academic support in the good or high category, from 47% in Cycle I to 84% in Cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of small-scale game-based warm-ups can be an effective strategy to enhance student motivation in PJOK class.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) by implementing game-based warm-up methods at SMPN 1 Kota Kediri. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, utilizing observation, documentation, and questionnaires for data collection. The results indicate that game-based warm-up methods positively contribute to increasing students’ motivation and engagement in PJOK learning. In the first cycle, 93.3% of students responded positively to the applied method, and in the second cycle, the number of students who strongly agreed increased from 50% to 70%, while those who disagreed decreased from 6.7% to 3.3%. These findings suggest that game variations, increased student interaction, and additional motivation can enhance PJOK learning effectiveness. This study recommends that teachers continue to develop game variations and create a more comfortable learning environment to accommodate students' needs optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the increase in students' learning motivation in PJOK subjects through the implementation of the Cone Dribble Race game. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of the study were 30 students of grade III SDN Jagalan 1, Kediri City. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation after the game was implemented, with an average score increasing from 32.71 in the pre-test to 38.64 in the post-test. These findings imply that a game-based learning approach has the potential to be effective in increasing student participation and motivation in PJOK learning.

Abstract

One effective method to increase physical activity among students is to incorporate Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) into the school curriculum. Considering that secondary school students, usually aged between 12 and 15, have a natural inclination towards games, a game-oriented strategy is particularly appropriate, as children generally prefer to engage in fun activities. Through this approach, students are likely to be more motivated to engage in physical activities that are beneficial to their body fitness and health. This study applied the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method implemented in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings covering physical fitness materials. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, documentation, and questionnaires to explore students' opinions regarding the learning process provided by the teacher. The study findings stated that the game-based approach proved to be very effective in increasing the motivation to learn PJOK in class VII G SMPN 1 Kota Kediri. Therefore, in learning PJOK, it is important to create interesting innovations so that students are more interested and active in following the learning.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to find out the impact of bullying on the personality and educational process of a child. This research includes qualitative research with a literature study and documentation approach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-analytical. The results of the study show that bullying has a negative impact on a child, both as a bully and as a victim. One of the effects of bullying on a child who is a bully is that a child who is a bully tends to have poor empathy and social interaction and tends to have abnormal behavior. Such as hyperactive behavior towards the surrounding environment. In addition, bullies also have the potential to experience mental health problems such as uncontrolled emotional symptoms and so on. While one of the effects of bullying on children who are victims of bullying is that victims will experience physical and non-physical violence. For example, often socially isolated, not having close friends, not having good relationships with parents, declining mental health, and the worst impact for children who are victims of bullying is that it can lead to depression and lead to suicide. This can make children who are victims of bullying experience prolonged trauma. In addition, a child who is a victim of bullying will also experience learning disorders and academic activities. One of the actions that can be taken to a child who is the perpetrator or victim of bullying is to give love, trust, and involve them in positive activities and provide them with an understanding of the negative effects of bullying. For this reason, there needs to be cooperation between schools, teachers and parents to overcome acts of bullying againts children.

Abstract

This study aims to develop basic badminton skills in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kediri City by utilizing interactive learning media. The approach applied is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation stages. Participants in this study were 32 students who faced challenges in mastering these skills. mastering basic badminton techniques, such as racket grip, footwork, service, and basic strokes. The research instruments included observation sheets, skill tests, and interest and motivation questionnaires. The study revealed significant progress in basic badminton skills, where the average score increased from 65.78 in Phase I to 72.78 in Phase II, or an increase of 10.64%. Interactive media, such as video tutorials and movement simulations, have proven effective in improving students' understanding and motivation. In conclusion, the use of digital platforms not only enriches students' abilities but also provides a more interesting and dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) in collecting infaq and alms at the Darussalam Grand Mosque in Palangkaraya. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The adoption of QRIS began during the COVID-19 pandemic as an effort to adapt to technological developments and to facilitate non-cash donations. The initiative was supported by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), allowing congregants to give alms more practically and securely. From an Islamic legal perspective, the use of QRIS is permissible based on the principle of al-ashlu fi al-mu’amalat al-ibahah and is reinforced by a fatwa from the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI) concerning sharia electronic money. The digital system enhances transparency and accountability in managing alms funds. This study concludes that QRIS improves donation convenience, increases the efficiency of fund collection, and demonstrates the integration of technology in worship practices.

Abstract

Police ethics are moral norms that serve as a reference for police officers in carrying out their duties. The purpose of this study is to identify and examine various forms of police ethics that are applied in carrying out duties and obligations. This study shows that police ethics include professional ethics, social ethics, and institutional ethics. Professional ethics include integrity, professionalism, and responsibility. Social ethics include empathy, tolerance, and awareness of the community. Institutional ethics include loyalty, order, and collaboration. The results of this study indicate that the application of good ethics in the police can strengthen public trust and improve the quality of police services.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the prohibition of marriage in the Pela Gandong tradition between the Nurlatun and Lesnusa clans in Ohilahin Village, Buru Regency, Maluku. This tradition is based on an oath of brotherhood inherited from ancestors and is considered sacred, so that violations of it are believed to bring disaster. This study aims to understand the causes of the prohibition, the implementation of customary law against violators, and examine the views of Islamic law on the prohibition. The study used a qualitative method with a normative-empirical approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the prohibition of marriage is based on an oath of peace due to the history of conflict between clans; (2) violations of the Pela Gandong tradition are resolved through customary deliberation and the imposition of social sanctions; and (3) Islamic law in principle does not prohibit inter-clan marriage if there is no mahram relationship, but respects local cultural values that are in line with the principles of brotherhood and social harmony.

Abstract

Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools located in Jombang Regency, East Java, which is strong in teaching Islam, not only providing religious knowledge, but also equipping students with entrepreneurial skills so that they can be economically independent and contribute positively to society. There are two problems studied in this thesis, namely: (1) How is the Implementation of Entrepreneurial Da'wah at Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School? and (2) How is the Role of Caregivers in Forming an Entrepreneurial Spirit in students at Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School? To answer these two problems, this researcher uses a qualitative approach with primary data types obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as secondary data from various sources such as books, articles, journals, and related literature. The subjects of this study consisted of Kyai Ahmad Habibul Amin (caretaker of the Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Jombang), Ustadz of the Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, Chairman of BUMP (Islamic Boarding School-Owned Enterprises), and students who are members of the preneur. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of entrepreneurial da'wah at the Assalafiy Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School aims to develop an entrepreneurial spirit among students as part of their provision to have financial independence and make a positive contribution to society. This da'wah does not only focus on religious teachings, but also involves practical skills that support the economic independence of students after they leave the Islamic boarding school, and this da'wah does not only focus on religious teachings, but also involves practical skills that support the economic independence of students after they leave the Islamic boarding school. This study is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of religious moderation in Indonesia.
