Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA 1 Surakarta. Using descriptive qualitative research methods and a case study approach, data were obtained through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The research subjects included PAI teachers, students in grades XI and XII, and the principal. The results showed that PAI teachers have carried out their role as facilitators, encouraging students' active participation through more interactive and flexible learning methods in accordance with the principles of Merdeka Curriculum. However, some challenges are still faced, such as the difficulty of teacher adaptation to new teaching methods, limited resources, and obstacles to supporting facilities. Students' perceptions of PAI learning varied, with most feeling motivated by the self-directed approach while others needed more time to adapt. This evaluation also reveals that lesson planning is in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, but implementation still requires continuous support, both in the form of improving teacher competence through training and providing adequate facilities and infrastructure. In conclusion, the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning at SMA 1 Surakarta has shown a positive direction, although it still needs improvement to achieve educational goals that are more effective in shaping students' character and competence.

Abstract

Education is the most important factor in improving the quality of human resources, to achieve good quality education, the system in education must be improved starting from the student component, technology, curriculum to evaluation. Currently, based on the policy set by the minister of education Nadiem Makarim, the independent curriculum is implemented to give students the freedom to explore their abilities, but the facts in the field are that there are still many teachers who have not carried out evaluation activities ideally and continuously from time to time, therefore this research was conducted to find out the implementation of special evaluations in independent curriculum PAI learning at SMK 3 Klaten. This research activity was carried out with a qualitative research type with a case study at SMK 3 Klaten. The results of the study explain that the implementation of the evaluation of independent curriculum PAI learning at SMK 3 Klaten through assessment, namely attitude assessment, knowledge assessment and skills assessment. Attitude assessment sees how spiritual values are embedded in the character of students. Knowledge assessment looks at how the competence of spiritual knowledge possessed by participants and the last is skills assessment through project, practice and portfolio activities.

Abstract

Service is one of the important factors that must be owned by a bank, because banking is a business entity engaged in the service sector. Excellence service is important to achieve customer satisfaction. Because service will leave an impression on service users so that they will continue to come back. This is what makes banks have to provide maximum service to satisfy their customers, because if the service provided is not good, then the customer will switch to another bank. To provide maximum excellence service to customers, the bank must prepare personnel who are able to handle the desires and needs of its customers. The personnel who are expected to be able to help the desires and needs of their customers are customer service. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject holistically and by means of description in the form of words and language. The technique used by the researcher is through direct observation and interviews with samples of customer service employees. The results of the study indicate that Bank Muamalat KCP Pasuruan has implemented excellence service standards effectively.

Abstract

Economic systems based on the principles of Islamic teachings from the Quran and Hadith are discussed in this article, which pertains to the period of the Prophet Muhammad and Islamic philosophy. Learning Islamic economics is a step toward creating a more moral society. The economic structure was changed so that everyone may gain, and the Prophet Muhammad was a major player in this. It was not overnight that the present application of Islamic economics emerged; rather, it evolved over time. The main challenge is to find historical traces that explain these developments, so that Islamic economic concepts can be understood and applied in sharia economic practices, which often receive little attention from historians.

Abstract

Islamic education is a learning process that aims to form individuals who believe, have noble character, and contribute positively to society based on Islamic teachings. The main goal of Islamic education is to integrate spiritual, moral and intellectual values to create a generation that is worldly and spiritually superior. The Islamic education curriculum is designed to cover Islamic sciences such as the Koran, Hadith, Fiqh and Aqidah, as well as general sciences that are relevant to the needs of the times. The scope of Islamic education includes spiritual, intellectual, social and emotional aspects, which focus on the formation of a balanced human being. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the concept of Islamic education, including the meaning, objectives, curriculum, scope, uses and basics of its application, as an effort to support holistic educational development. In the challenging era of globalization, Islamic education has an increasingly strategic role. Islamic education can be a fortress for the younger generation from the negative influence of globalization, as well as a source of inspiration to create a better future. By providing strong knowledge, skills, and religious values, Islamic education can produce a young generation that is intelligent, has noble character, and is able to face future challenges.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Prophet Muhammad as an ideal teacher and educator in Islamic education, which is relevant to the challenges of today's education. A sociological approach is used to analyze his contribution in shaping the norms and culture of society. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected from primary sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith and secondary references in the form of scientific literature related to Islamic education and the history of the Prophet Muhammad. The results of the study show that the Prophet Muhammad not only taught science, but also instilled spiritual, social, and moral values. He practiced effective teaching methods such as a dialogical approach and direct role models. In addition, the Prophet Muhammad succeeded in creating significant social change, including upholding social justice, promoting equal rights, and eliminating discrimination. The education taught by the Prophet Muhammad was holistic, covering intellectual, spiritual, and social aspects. His teachings are relevant to modern education, especially in forming people with noble character and able to face global challenges. The Prophet Muhammad was an ideal educator figure who was not only relevant in his time, but also an inspiration for today's education. Implementation of the educational values ​​of the Prophet Muhammad can build an intelligent generation with noble morals and social justice.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) is one of the major challenges in the Indonesian education system, which combines religious and general curriculum. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) evaluation, and 4) obstacles to the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education at MA Da'il Khairaat West Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source in this study is primary data, namely the Principal, while the secondary data of this study are the Deputy Head of Academic Affairs, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Deputy Head of Religious Affairs, Teachers, Committee, Students, and Parents. Data collection methods are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data uses triangulation techniques, sources and extension of observations. While data analysis with an interactive model begins with data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study of the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education are 1) Strategic planning begins with an analysis of the internal and external environment, 2) Implementation of the principal's strategy, namely the division of job descriptions; 3) Evaluation of the principal's strategy, namely direct supervision of the program's implementation, 4) obstacles and solutions to the principal's strategy in improving quality, namely the first obstacle is human error, the principal's solution is to provide coaching, the second is the lack of facilities and infrastructure, the solution is to add facilities and infrastructure by working together with parents.

Abstract

The cost of education is a crucial component in the implementation of education, as the educational process cannot proceed without financial support. This study aims to describe the collection and management of finances at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Blitar. The research approach used is qualitative research with a case study design. The researcher conducted interviews with the school principal and treasurer, document analysis, and observations. The results of the study show that school finances are sourced from government assistance, such as BOS (School Operational Assistance) and BPOPP (Operational Assistance for Education Funding), tuition fees (SPP), development fees (DPP), the foster parents' movement program, and donations from Lazismu. In the aspect of financial management, the school implements mechanisms for planning, execution, recording, reporting, and accountability while adhering to the principles of transparency, accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Abstract

The school environment is one of the important factors that affect the student learning process. This study aims to analyze the influence of the school environment on the quality of student learning. The school environment includes the physical, social, and psychological conditions that students face while at school. Factors such as learning facilities, classroom atmosphere, interaction with teachers, relationships with peers, and emotional support from school residents have a significant role in motivating and improving student achievement. The results of the study show that a positive and conducive school environment can increase student motivation, concentration, and academic achievement. On the other hand, a less supportive environment can hinder academic development and decrease students' interest in learning. Therefore, it is important for schools to create a learning environment that is comfortable, supportive, and encourages students to achieve optimal results in learning.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the development of a web-based education management system is one of the solutions to increase transparency and accountability in Islamic educational institutions. Through a literature approach with qualitative methods, this research aims to provide a clear picture of how information technology can be used to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the management of Islamic education. The ease of gaining access to every aspect of information in the management of education that is easy and fast is needed by student guardians, the community and the government which includes: Administrative and Policy Transparency, Financial Transparency, Academic Transparency and Facilities and Infrastructure Transparency. Any challenges in developing the management system need to be informed and socialized and managed properly to get the best solution from all stakeholders.
